  1. Any idea on when we can expect to have this implemented?
  2. Could you please provide info about feoh changes? Ty!
  3. So basically nothing is done in order to balance classes? I see a lot more boosts to already op classes such as tyrr/dk compared to feoh, although I think I read some time ago feoh was acknowledged to be left behind dmg wise and some modification to the dmg formula would be made. I haven't played other classes so I can't say anything about them, but from what I read it seems the lack of balance between classes is only deepened in this big update.
  4. Not drawing any winner for multiple hours kinda defeats the purpouse you mentioned, doesn't it? I mean, why would anyone keep a lot of chars logged in to get 0 coins in 10-20 hours when they can get just as many with 1 char logged? Your point is right though, but it seems to be a conflict between their need to get a lot of players online (for whatever purpouse) and their need to sell more ncoins. It will probably balance out based on the reaction of the players, namely the number of logged chars vs. the number of sold ncoin.
  5. Your math is waaay off. You would need close to 2.000 euro to keep the cookie on 24/7 for a month. There are much cheaper ways to get the XP boost, the sale is not designed for XP, it's just a bonus so that the whales don't feel the lack of XP boost during the server's 18th anniversary. As for all the other players... well, I think it's pretty clear by now these updates and events are not really meant for or designed around them.
  6. @Arctic any update on this issue? Are the thoughts and opinions expressed in this thread not enough, or maybe not sufficiently clear? Do you need any more details from players, and if so, could you please specify? Could we at least get an update every 10 days, as a sign of minimum respect for the community you are supposed to manage and, in some cases, for your paying customers?
  7. I already posted in another thread on the subject, but it seems gm's don't read those, so i have to repeat myself. I don't expect anything to change, based on previous similar situations. Remember this? https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/21838-herald-of-light-poll-feedback-collection/ The situation was similar, mobs got a huge buff after an update. People started to complain considerably, so the gm's started a feedback poll. Feedback was hugely negative (83%) and people provided extensive explanations, presented the encountered problems and proposed solution. The outcome? One day the poll was simply closed and moved to Archive, no answer given to all the feedback and no change to the game. This happened to a poll started by gm's, not a post made by a simple player. Some "good" event followed and everyone was "happy" again. Case closed. Regarding feedback for the current ”update”, do you somehow filter out negative posts started by your players when (if) you read the forums? Didn't you see these posts, are they not enough? https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/24259-update-frustrations/ https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/24218-huge-boost-on-mobs-after-update/ https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/24298-i-have-to-say-this-is-the-best-update-ever/ https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/24262-quality-of-life-ingame-decreased/ In short, how could anyone enjoy seeing his char getting weaker in half a day? People expect to get better as they invest in their char. We spend time and money to progress, and then un ”update” comes that downgrades our chars back a few months and a few farming zones and negates all the money spent on it. What can keep us motivated to continue playing if this update comes and we realize we just lost a few months and some money with absolutely no gain? We could pick up and try to move forward, but forward to what, more ”updates” like this one that pushes our chars back to close to when we started playing, after years of play and the money we spent?
  8. @Arcticany news about this? Can you please bring to their attention the fact that we are way lower in level and in equipment owned than the players in the other regions, so any change in mobs difficulty should be done considering the actual situation of our servers, and not the situation from other regions? Please let them know that all it takes is a couple more of these "updates" and it's game over for the majority of the players, since most of the content intended for their level will become inaccessible no matter how much they try to adapt.
  9. Nothing will change, to reply to op second question. Remember this? https://forums.lineage2.com/topic/21838-herald-of-light-poll-feedback-collection/ The situation was similar, mobs got a huge buff after an update. People started to complain considerably, so the gm's started a feedback poll. Feedback was hugely negative, 83%, and people provided extensive explanations, presented the encountered problems and proposed solution. The outcome? One day the poll was simply closed and moved to Archive, no answer given to all the feedback and no change to the game. This happened to a poll started by gm's, not a post made by a simple player. Some "good" event followed and everyone was "happy" again. Case closed. Conclusion? This is the intended trend of the game and will not stop at this patch, expect this thing to happen with every update. Accept it or move on, but don't expect anything to change.
  10. Can you please provide a source for this info? And also, are the devs of KR server aware of this issue, was it fixed in any following patch?
  11. What i noticed last night is that the event window was closed right after all the items from the 3 star pack were finished, even though there were a lot of items left from the 1 star and 2 star packs. Is this intended, or is it a bug in the event? There are people who would still participate for the 2 star pack items, is there a reason to close the window before all these items are finished?
  12. That would be good, i guess, but the description says it's the points received that depend on the class, and not the ranking.
  13. This is fine, in theory, the problem may be in the way it is implemented. The difference between the dmg of a well built dd and a well built tank (both in accordance with their own role) is huge, so a 10 - 20 - 50% bonus (which would apply to an already low number of points) would be insignificant in relation to the final result.
  14. @Hime what about support classes? This is a solo instance that rewards people based on how much damage they can deal in 10 minutes. While this is fine for dds, support classes are not built for dealing dmg. What chance does a tank/iss/healer have to get any good reward in this event? This is a punishment for building a good support class in a mmo that should encourage party based play style.
  15. People complained about a nerf in the drops from the Elite Walter Dragon Chests a while ago, if that is true, it may explain the prices going up.
  16. Is it intended not to include Field of Crissis in the list of timed zones that receive bonuses, and if so, why?
  17. Could you please share other important changes that are expected to come with that update?
  18. Agreed on all points: they never listened to the player base, it is their right to do so (their obligation really as most of the requests may affect the game income), and it is in fact silly to expect anything different at this point. But it is not silly at all to expect an answer (any kind of answer, may it be ”we can't, we don't want to, it is not possible”, whatever) as the minimum sign of consideration for all the palyers that participated to the poll they started and provided all the information they asked for (some of them extensively).
  19. Can you also check element defense values? At least in IT also mobs take a little less dmg, not by half but enough to be noticed. Ty!
  20. Maybe we get a ninja/unannounced nerf to all the mobs' attack abilities, like we got a ninja/unannounced buff with the Herald of Light "update"? /irony off
  21. This is exactly the state of things. It would be an illogical choice and a bad business decision to change anything at this point. Applying any of the things we ask for would reduce the profit gained from the server, even if we are right to ask for them and they are already implemented an all other servers (including the one in Rusia, ironic, right?). The server is as it is, it is our choice to play or not, we do not get a right to decide anything about the server. You want the things you ask for and that are implemented on other server? You are free to join that server, who is stoping you? We should all stop thinking about this server as a big community that tries to work together in order to achieve something that makes everyone happy. It's not, it's a business, and by definition it's designed to maximise profit. Also by definition, it is against the purpose of the business to adopt willingly something that reduces the profit. They even took the time to test things. After nerfing all the chars on the server, they made a poll. It was bad feedback, but we all know people say things they are not always willing to put into practice, so they also tested the result of the poll: they started an exp event. And even if activity lowered, the chat was full with "wtb nc". Some people left, but probably others spent more and compensated. Profit probably stayed the same, despite the general discontent and forum uprise. So the decision is simple, things need to stay the same in order to preserve profit. I think we should all remember their obligation is toward the company, and not the players, and when what we ask for is hurting the company's profit, the choice is obvious. They are good employees and are taking the right decision for their employer, end of discussion. Of course, things would change if the players themselves were able to form a community and work together towards a common goal, but i think at this point it's obvious this is not the case either.
