Huh....not bad...not too shabby. people asked for the newbie kit, it was returned. people asked for boosters..they also compromised at one pack per day. I"d say that was fair enough.

the idea of this server was to be able to solo it and not spend endless time trying to level. you can use every analogy you want here,but basically all they did was give you the ability to buff yourself and boost xp gains. the problem is the casual player which this was meant to cater to isn't going to benefit still. there are players that monopolize areas and kill anyone who tries to play there. is it against the rules?...No that's just the game,but to a casual it's no helpful. No one wants anything to do with you until 76 or more. raids are policed by credit card whale clans. It's fair in the sense everyone can use money to buy from the store, however the unfair fair part is how much can you spend if at all. what this does is create an unfair competition. This is about profit and that's not going to change. maybe if people quit supporting this trash it might die,but I doubt it. It's not an equal playing field when there is a cash shop, some people have more advantage over another. if you play free it's going to be much harder and take significantly longer to get what you want. you either spend or quit. I'm already losing interest. clans requiring 24/7 online, I can't be on like that, I'm an adult,I work a lot and own a home. I don't have that sort of time anymore.

as much as I dislike bots, they keep the market going in terms of items and the price down. Adena sellers are there, I get a pm every time I'm in aden. So it's going on. The price of adena actually determines the market too. Years ago you could literally go price a specific item on the 3rd party sites and determine its adena value in game based off that. Like epic jewels or over enchanted gear. A lot of people had no clue that this was really how the market worked. You could also buy an item or a whole account off a 3rd party site. NC knew this and periodically they would do minor housekeeping or a software update that would put the bots down for a days to a week if that. There is also a pvp 3rd party program whose name I won't mention. The lagging when you're near some players isn't because of multi boxes, it's third party programs. Years ago I got nailed for disabling the third party detection thing they had that would load, lots of us would disable it to speed up loading the game and make it run better. It was just a matter of removing a file and replacing it with another. I didn't get any punishment for it, just a warning. NC does catch it, but bots keep the lights on to put it one way. The market in game would be trash, you could always tell after an update when third party programs were down, within a week basic craft materials would skyrocket in price. Bone, leather,thread...you know common stuff used to make high grade materials for gear. As much as I disliked the bots I also knew what they did for the market, sometimes in dungeons if we could agree on which rooms we each got we could do our business and they did theirs. other times I'd log onto another account and clean out a spot. Know your bots though, if you wipe out a party it may have belonged to a power clan on the server and that's going to be some heat for you. This is from what I experienced over the years, maybe not currently going on, I haven't played live servers for probably 5 years maybe 6.

you didn't think the free stuff was going to keep flowing did you? you can't possibly think there is going to be new events every two weeks on repeat? LoL you guys kill me Now that you're addicted to xp boosters, you are all about to run dry and find out how much this is not fun. Then they will be back...for a price and you'll pay or rage quit. Dead players for over an hour should be booted....forever.

Your biggest hurdle will be getting the required items to get the buffs that you can cast on others. being a bladedancer I have dance buffs I can't get until I get the required items to do so, I hate that.

I for one am sick of it. literally sitting in front of my laptop xping and just disconnects. Now here I wait in the que AGAIN trying to make the attendance requirements for my clan. This crap is going to end up getting me kicked out and its wasting stuff I have that is on a timer. Its been like two weeks

You'll have to wait until the issues are completely resolved and then your compensation will be given. the longer this goes on the more or better compensation you will get.

Hahahaha. Don't give them anymore ideas. I like the auto hunt, I can at least go make dinner and other stuff and just let it run and check on it periodically.

I can't say I'm surprised. I'm not, I kind of half expected it would be another half hatched gimmick.

Ah might wanna start limiting accounts logged in per person. I didn't purchase items to have spend time WAITING to log in. If that nonsense isn't changed I'm out. There's no effen way on this planet I'm going to buy anything that I won't get to use. I had THOUGHT this server was geared towards people who have limited play time...You know ADULTS who have 10+ hour a day shifts and sometimes weekends. This is where I actually draw the line. Lag and minor bugs I can deal with, but not even getting in the game when I want to...That's a nope on a rope from me! Maybe I was severely mistaken here. I knew what to expect from the likes of NCsoft,but this is a whole new mountain of crap. @JujiAny insight on this? This something that is changing in the future?

They are not going to give you another server. You will have to sit there and wait. In the meantime contact customer service if you want a refund. The forum admins aren't going to do that for you.

I think you forget this game is originally from 2004. I pretty sure any basic computer out there can run this old turd no problem. It's not anyone's system, it's on NC's end. As you said you were told "Many years ago". That said there is enough to know better that it's not anyone's setup. I've been through two desktops over the years of L2 and now my current gaming laptop. It is on NC's end,probably a client or server problem.

I'm only running one client and I had problems also. My gaming laptop is not old either. So it's not a matter of multiple clients being used. there is lag when doing certain things when using functions of that game. The clan recruit window, candy craft interface, using your inventory bag. this is on their end not from the fact of multi accounts being logged in on a single computer or the population load. There wont be any remedy over the weekend, they go home.

I feel all this. beta player myself. I quit 4-5 years ago. I couldn't compete with P2W. Everyone I knew basically quit for the same reasons. it was fun, Friday nights for raids and xping with your friends and laughing in vent. I miss it hard. I am giving Aden a chance,but I see the gimmicks too.

Your server is effed up and not even in a fun sense. I have stuff I paid for running and it's legit lagged to no end. If this is the kind of garbage we're going to have I don't think I want to stick around for it.

I complained about this years ago and I see nothings changed. Looks like it's worse than ever. everyone I was friends with quit. I stuck it out longer and eventually quit a few years ago. I have been trying the new Aden server thinking it would fit my casual play times. I'm starting to see that they've put walls for gear and skills. there's literally nothing for adena . The game is dead just about. I can't envision seeing it make 20 years. I really miss what this game used to be. I never found a game I loved as much as this one.

Nope not just you. I played this game from beta and I finally quit a few years ago. However I saw this more solo friendly server and thought yeah I got a little time for that. I dunno, I can't seem to get into a clan, there isn't any income source to support yourself. It's like a cheapened down version of the game. I'm losing interest quickly. There's too many walls and hoops for gear and certain skill advancements. If one can't gain a clan to help with raid items then I don't see myself going on much longer. I really should just give it up already for good.
