  1. So you can see what's coming? When it comes in a month or two, what will you have to say? For 200 lcoins, you open 2 regular loot box. What will you get? 1 hp pot, 1 sayha blessing? What will you get with 1 giran seal? You don't know and complain. Good items like dolls and spellbooks aren't going to be cheap anyways and if you haven't learned how L2 works yet, the game is expensive. Live is a lot worse and you don't like it. Quit the game. Apparently the Russians protested and it worked. RU servers have half the price. Actions speak louder than words. It really hasn't occured to you that whining hasn't worked. Because you keep buying and playing anyways. Sucker born a minute. That's YOU. Don't like it. Quit the game.
  2. Let me know how else you can buy pendant, cloak, circlet, belt, jewels, agathions, power, dolls, epics, boss weapons without relying on pure rng? Sorry you can't do an ounce of research playing 2 year old outdated content to every other region.
  3. As I explained. They aren't always available or will become available in future updates. Currently it is not avaialble on NA. If you really want to see it firsthand. You can try EU Essence. https://eu.4game.com/lineage2essence/
  4. Giran seals are here to stay. It's similar to the eva's ticket system where you can exchange tickets from the dimensional merchant. Except giran seals are permanent and will be re-used. The box of seals should be a permanent item in the store. Yes there will be events. It's part of the game. Dimensional merchant will not always be available, but you will have items permanently in special crafting. You will be able to craft boss weapons and 3 star spellbooks with giran seals. Every single item will be craftable with giran seals, but not always available. The available items will change depending on the event. It's a better system than current loot box where you have no control at all. You can still get giran seals from regular loot box. You are welcome to check the KR site for the latest update. NA is behind a good 1 year behind everyone else. NA has outdated content. https://lineage2.plaync.com/board/l2notice/list
  5. The giran seals are standard to this game. They carry over, don't get deleted and can be used to craft specific items. All the rates are known and the exact details can be found on the essence site. The top prize of the Golden Festival with the winning bid over 20k boxes is outlandish compared to the regular crafting prices. It's the 4 star dk trans book. You will be able to craft any 4 star of your choice and the price will be around $2000 - $4000 each. 3 star as well which is around $200 - $300. Dolls and epics (orfen, baium, zaken) are the next thing. They will range from $300 - $500 each (lvl 2, +2) But you can pick the one you want from special crafting. This leaves everything else like belts, cloaks, circlets which you can also pick with seals. Everything. Circlet - 15 seals Belt - 4 seals Cloak - 2 seals 160 seals is 80 cloaks or 40 belts. 100 lcoin = 1 giran seal = $1.25 (roughly) You open regular loot boxes, you get tons of hp pots/sayha blessings/buff scrolls. Giran seals are guarantee. These prices are generally accurate to off market. You don't like it. Don't buy it or don't play the game. But this is the norm in this game. These prices are here to stay. There is no excuse to keep falling for it and cry you were scammed because you keep buying it. Dolls https://l2central.info/essence/events_and_promos/1276.html Rare Accessories https://l2central.info/essence/events_and_promos/1243.html 4 star (boss gear, epics) https://l2central.info/essence/events_and_promos/1280.html
  6. Whatever that allows you to do Live 3/Aden 3 max at the same time. You can play all 10 on Aden. That's the problem.
  7. It doesn't matter. Live is 3 clients max. PERIOD. No matter what.
  8. That sounds pretty accurate because mobile games are over 70% of their revenue now so it would make sense they would focus there and not here. They seem to be just coasting along the loot box model because it generally works in terms of generating sales and nothing else. So "unaware" sounds correct. Unaware in terms of any game balance or having any sense as a gamer.
  9. The adena limitation on Live AH is a technical limit. Not about gameplay. Classic nor Aden has AH at all so there is less of argument needing a shop on live as it is more or less required for Aden/Classic. There are servers that exist that enforce 1 client only. EU Essence was originally 1 client (yes really). They added dualboxing to account for the store since there is no AH. Hence officially EU is 2 clients max. https://eu.4gameforum.com/threads/670391/ Pretty sure? I linked you the official page on the multibox policy of NA. There is no guessing. The client limit is shared between Classic and Aden. It can be tricky if you play different versions of the game, but it is possible to play all 10 clients on classic. Likewise all 10 on Aden. Just not both AT THE SAME TIME. https://support.lineage2.com/hc/en-us/articles/360047233832-Lineage-II-Multibox-Limit Point is that on Live they do enforce 3 client max. Meaning Aden can be set to the same limit as they have the technical capability to do so. Even shared they allow up to 5 which is still too much. Again EU and probably every other region including KR has smaller client limit if not 1. Aden removed the necessity to box at all because everyone has their own buffs. That is the entire point and appeal of this version. It doesn't REQUIRE a separate class/character to obtain buffs. Every character has all the buffs on their own. So you are wrong. Things changed. It changed drastically. But classic was never designed to be boxed either. So you are wrong again.
  10. It's intended? Partly a way to incentivize players to spend money to acquire the items sooner, but all the other spellbooks are difficult as well. Game is designed to be played for years. People played WoW for many years as with L2. Live is the latest continuation of it and coming up 20 years. Some people have played since the beginning. WoW: 11/23/2004 L2: 10/01/2003 L2 Aden looks to be designed for at least 3-5 years of play. If one were to be completely f2p as in $0, this is the timeframe you would be looking at. Getting to 90 alone with $0 could take 2-3 years. Imagine leveling without any sayha storm at all. Worrying about one 4 star book seems to be a drop in the bucket. BUT you can buy them. These items are expensive. 4 star is priced around $2000 or so based on event costs. Consider that a $15 subscription is $180/year and 5 years is about $1000 (add in box price etc.) Items are permanent and you get to keep them. Basically you are paying ahead in time. They might reconsider AA, but either way you need to play for a long time to get anywhere in this game.
  11. If the limit is 3, sure you can. 1 account each Live/Aden/Classic. Maybe L2 should think of playing the game as intended on one account like every other game? Aden and Classic is shared so however they do it, they can do it per game. Live is 3 so make Aden 3. The gameplay is the same between these two. The only difference is the old/new classes.
  12. Devs never say anything. They are incompetent enough to start with 10 clients when Essence was 1. What hope is there? Even then they reduce it to 5? That's not any better. Korea requires a SSN. Can you multibox in Korea? This game only works when there is accountability. This game should basically require the level of security as in a SS# with the amount of money being spent. $100k is a traders account and L2 doesn't even have an authenticator when it's avaiable for other games like Blade & Soul. If we are going to discuss client limits it also becomes necessary to talk about account security. This game should require a unique serial. They allow you to multibox, but treat accounts based on IP. Account and Item restoration is based on IP with multiple accounts attached to the same IP? The entire situation is nonsensical. I wish I could speak as a dev, but let's see how long it takes for them to respond to this issue of client limit. Another 3 years go by and you will still hold hope? At what point do you give up and realize it won't happen?
  13. NA will never do such a thing. Their MO has been to gouge players on soulshots all this time. When soulshot tickets first came out on classic, people bought them and they made it seem like a deal. Basically you had to buy ss tickets from the store to play classic. Achievement box is only on EU/RU. Not KR. For those that don't know, the achievement box feature on EU gives you free ss tickets, ores, cookies and 1-day epics. The result is you never to have worry about soulshots, but adena and item drop is reduced compared to NA. https://l2central.info/essence/articles/462.html EU client limit is also 1 +1 for store. NA will never change from the boxing mentality and gouging on soulshots. Every other essence server is 1 client. Essence is designed to be played on 1 client. NA will never change, but now you know and you have a choice.
  14. You are still going on with these thin excuse likes "raids" and "boxes" that no one believes and everyone knows it is bs? this is referring to server events like Blaze. not regular world raids like Orfen. Blaze events (time limited like all events) was changed to a peace zone. GMs do not take any action. Complaints like "harassment" is discretionary and if GMs choose not to take action there is no other recourse for players. Fact is there are many players that like to pve and play the game casually. Raids are pve. You need to pve to get any xp/adena/items in this game. You need to pve to get anywhere in this game. You need to pve to do Frintezza. 80% of players are pve. You will see that a pve server will be succesful. It will be instantly packed to the brim. The very reason this game keeps dying is because of pvp/pk. Especially pk.
