About Skyes

  1. Hello! I am very interested too. I work 8 hours a day regularly, but I can play around 3 hours per weekday and usually more on weekends. How do I apply to join? My IGN is Allucard (current going for a SK, lvl 24), Skyes, or Setzer (prophet).
  2. I tried to join some clans, but they were only recruiting 30 or 35+ level players. Some only with VIP 4 (not my case) that can play constantly, and usually specific classes like SWS, BDs, WCs, Bishops, etc. I'll keep looking for a casual clan and see if I can find any. Thanks for the tips, but I'm probably dropping the game in a few
  3. I don't have friends that play L2 And I tried joining parties in the game multiple times and it was a horrendous experience. Half the party was going AFK all the time, another half were boxed buffers we had to carry around wich did nothing but leech exp
  4. When a game forces you to create 3 toons to progress and open 3 clients, then it's going the wrong way IMO
  5. Yes, that's totally true. That's why I gave up on parties and Clan activities. 100% of my experience with parties so far in Classic was horrible. People going AFK all the time, dying, leading to a massive waste of time (taking into consideration the minimum time I have per day to play, thats frustrating) That's one of my main concerns. I am fine with that, but with so many other great and newer games that I have installed (The Witcher 3, Final Fantasy XV, Kingdom Come Deliverance, to name a few), I am not sure I have the energy and the time for that. 100% agree. The problem is when you play for 2 hours straight doing the same thing over and over again (killing mobs) alone to get 5 % exp or less PER DAY, I am not sure that will be fun I agree with with you I was worried that to actually progress you would HAVE to create a dwarf to make money and a buffer to help you grind. I did create a Cleric, he's lvl 23, but honestly, it is not worth the time and energy investment. When playing a game becomes a chore, you realize it is going the wrong way. I still have Novice equipment, except for the armors which I got from the quest (moon knight). If I play solo and get to a point where I can't progress further because I don't have Adena and Equipment, then I guess it's time to drop the game. When a game forces you to create boxes to progress, then it's also going the wrong direction. You should be able to progress with one toon, and that's it. Anyways guys, I think I am getting old. I installed a pack of old games on my laptop (all games from NES to PSX and N64, 60 GBs of roms using Retroarch), and I am having a blast playing Final Fantasy VI from SNES and Castlevania Symphony of the Night. More than I am when playing L2, unfortunately. And I am not even blaming the rates or NCSoft or anything. I guess I am the problem. I am 29 years old now. Back in 2004, I was much younger, had free time, L2 was my first MMORPG experience (except for Phantasy Star Online, but I don't count that as a MMORPG because it had a lobby) and everything was new.
  6. +1 The best decision would be to make the server rates 1x as they were back then, and for those who want to buy VIP, change them to 1.5x for example. And also keep the l2 store. I'm not against that. I know NCSoft needs to make money from a f2p server. I have nothing against VIP players leveling faster than non vip players. Honestly, this is a very old game. 90% of us already saw everything there is to see and enjoyed all the content. We are just trying to relive it, so why not make it slightly bit faster instead of even slower? I just think they are making bad decisions, which is sad since it's killing the game. Bad decisions are making hundreds of people leave the game. In a few months, all that will be left are bots, no lifers that play 8+ hours a day and Adena Buyers that buy currency to be able to afford the grind.

  8. The title says it all. Please, be honest. I don't have the same amount of time that I had 14 years ago to grind 8 hours a day. Besides, nothing in the game is new to me (nor to any of us I guess), so there isn't that sense of discovery. I tried to get into a few parties to make the grinding less frustrating and it was a complete waste of time. No one knew what they were doing, and I got way less exp than I was getting while farming solo. I am still lvl 25, playing very casually, and I just want to know if I get to level 52 + I'll get to a point where I'll grind 2 hours a day to level up 5%. Then it's definitely time to understand that my L2 days are over and time to move on to other games. Thank you all in advance and please keep this topic polite and flame free.
  9. Olá. Eu (human Warrior 25) e meu primo (human wizard 21), com profeta (22) e SE (20) procuramos Clan BR em Talking Island, se possível com CP para uparmos todos os dias. Favor mandar PM para Skyes Grato.
  10. Reroll service

That would be quite unfair. People would create Nukers/Mages, LVL up pretty fast, then reroll to another class they want.
  11. Beast Shots Are No Joke

Hello. Sorry, I thought you wanted to solo. I really suggest going for party (as you are), learn to play effectively. At higher levels, drops get much better (mats especially). You will have a lot of Adena as you sell them to dwarves and other players, and BSS won't be as expensive as they are now. I used to play DA, got to 65, I know it's really hard. But L2 Is not a linear progressive game where your EXP, Adena, and equipment progress equally (like many other RPGs). Actually, in Interlude, you didn't even have BSS if I'm correct. It was only implemented much later.
  12. Hi i am new

Hello, and welcome aboard As far as I know, that quest is not available here. All rates are x1, except for Adena, that has been dropped. So you will suffer a bit but you'll get used to it. Just gotta learn how the market works 3 accounts are the max allowed per one computer. Account sharing is not allowed and is bannable. I suggest doing the beginner quest to get spiritshots/soulshots and some other supplies. They help a lot. https://l2wiki.com/classic/Quests_for_Levels_1—40
  13. How to Multibox ..

I think he was being sarcastic
  14. Drop page

So far I am using the classic wiki, but not sure if it's updated https://l2wiki.com/classic/Main_Page
  15. How to Multibox ..

I'm sorry if this sounds dumb, but if you share two computers side by side, you can get a software called Mouse Without Borders. I use it a lot. You install it on both PCs, and they connect to each other. So what it does is use your main mouse and keyboard to control both PCs. I just drag my mouse arrow to the side of my screen and it automatically jumps to the other PC. If I want to write something on the other PC, I use my main keyboard as well, so I just use 1 keyboard and mouse for 2 computers. My question is, if I control 2 L2 Clients, one on each PC, but on the other computer with my main keyboard and mouse, would that be against the EULA? Would that fall under the same category as the software mentioned above? (Multiboxy).
