I'm trying to figure out L2 logic. Mobs in DT that resist all tank skills, Daggers of OP status can do major dmg but the half kill which is there bread and butter is gone. Evis 30% nerfed. This is the same on bosses for the normal server. Clan Throne bosses immune to tanks hate, Evis 30% and daggers half-kill. But at the same time Nuker/DK's/Tyrs with the same gear lets say of a given mid-range Dagger or Evis can damn near 1 shot bosses. And in DT they 1 shot with no problem. If we're in lvl range of the given mob or boss the skills should work. Archer aoe's can 1 shot all in the line of fire. In DT that means "i'm an archer/nuker/DK/Tyr i'll just stand in your spot and kill all around. Nice..for them. Horrible for the rest of us. I'm just wondering at the logic behind the things that you do. Your theory on what a mob should "resist" seems to go out the window for certain toons. Lets have the mob resist half-kills, but well he can die on a 1 shot from a crit from Nuker/tyr/DK. Lets have a boss be immune to 30% hit, but Nuker/tyr/DK do 75% of hp on a crit..or more. Boss resistant to all tank skills, but kinda not for the aoe hate. Although the Debuff itself doesnt land. Can someone explain the logic behind these decisions. I'm just not understanding. And before anyone says it, yes I know that Daggers and Evis' of epic proportions can do some crazy dmg. this isn't about that. Its about nerfing skills for no good reason, while others do much more dmg at the same "lvl of accomplishment". Probably need to type this in Discord. Nobody gives a damn about forums that much anymore.

OK, we're into the new year and it appears that your experiment was a resounding failure. Prices have not changed in the least. Those with adena now have more, those without have even less. The removal of the prestige did nothing but hurt those of us in the lower ranks. If any have seen a change please post your results. Prestige was Godly for those that had already geared to greatness, and was very good to the rest of us. The Godly peeps dmg or adena changed very little, the rest of us..!@#$ed. Please look at your game and know that that was a really really bad decision. And fix it. I know I'm probably asking to much. But your answer in the L2 store of $20.00USD a week was something only the Godly can afford, the rest of us are currently SOL.

Okay… so let’s get into it. **AN UPDATE ON THE PRESTIGE PACK REMOVAL** <#1157009698155942039> One of the biggest questions asked about the removal of the Prestige Pack is… WHY? We asked about this and the main information we got back was: inflation. The development team had looked at the data of the Prestige Rune and discovered our region’s inflation was getting out of control directly due to the Rune. To give you a rough idea, in other regions the Adena supply was increasing at a steady rate of 1% to 3%, in our region that number was 20%! Just like in the real world, if too much money is being generated, prices go up. When everyone had access to the 300% Adena drop, we generated more Adena than normal and that resulted in inflation. The developers chose to remove the Rune to help control the inflation and slowly start to bring prices back down. And the Rune itself was the direct reason the inflation rose in the first place. Our biggest goal is to try to help control the situation and hopefully start bringing prices back down as a result. We are all aware its not a normal situation for you all to have items worth more than the amount of Adena your character can hold. We are continuing to look into how to handle the situation with players who have remaining runes, and will do our best to keep you all updated. _---___----------------------------- Why have I not seen a lot of post about this flawed reasoning? Are they not aware of the fact that 5% of the players have 95% of the adena that they speak of? The prestige pack was good for much more than the adena. Mainly that 20% CD. 15% dmg rune. What he said. Or if you have alot like some the Rune Stones are selling well during this change of classes, and the Nevits cloak will probably sell well. But spend before the due date or they are lost in the ether of nothingness. (They go completely away Oct.1st, or something like that)

I've come to accept the craziness of these money events, but this one is a bit out there. Would have been quite impressive if it was 100 chest with the items that its currently giving and the cookies. Then i woke up. That being said, to bypass the frustration of this crazy "ask" even, were's the "gimmie buffs" free part? This watermelon event is really really really sub-par. I ,like all others, know that you don't actually care about our comments, so i'll buy me a few of the chest, sell and make a bit of adena. Then maybe next time you come up with something i'll be able to buy me something. I use to do 5dmg to the supers, after this event i'll do 2dmg. Same difference, they get stronger and I don't know why, only a few can actually PvP them, and the rest of us stay the same. Looking for next weeks maintenance to see if you gonna give us some good buffs(and i get paid next week so i'll spend another 50USD on 10 chest), and i'll read some of the chatter in these forums. Twitter...Last check this was the L2 official site, so exactly why do we have to end up at Twitter to get the information about when the server is coming back up? You spend 3hours and 30mins giving us nothing new, but you're unable to get the server back up for some reason. What actually takes over 4 hours when I'm guessing you were only doing a couple of minor "fixes". Well I guess if i want to know whats going on I should log in to twitter or discord.

Hmm, i have a question for @Wissp or any moderator. The servers go down on Tuesdays now. You're doing a major event with lots of potential "server will be up 1 hour later" possibilities. So my question is, does the attendance start once servers are up? Or does it start the next day? The reset for zones is at 01:30CST for me, so anything i do before maintenance will not catch the changes, and if I wait, I may not get to do them at all. Will we be a day behind, or will we have a extra day at the end of the event. The new maintenance time is rather confusing when you have a lengthy event like this. Just wondering how thats gonna work out for the first day and the last day.

Basically we want G-rune stones in the game some how, some way. Events are cool, but peeps would like to have the skills needed to do a bit more dmg. Seems like that would be where the G-rune stones come in. We see the possibility on the Free and Pay for events, just haven't seen the actual item. Possible options. Put it in the L2 store in the hero coins tab. 2. A certain amount of normal rune stones combined = 1 G-Rune stone. 3. Possible Drop from the clan Throne. There are was to get it in the game, just isn't happening. The Game can do better, so thats what we're looking for...Better.

So you think the reason why the rates are low is because we all have alot of toons and it will put to many on the market? lololololololololol, OMG I haven't had a laugh like that in quite a while, lolololololol. Last 4 money events had G-rune as a possibility, ask anybody if they got one. If the whales got some they've hidden them well. Those what have alot of toons are getting the same treatment as those of us with 1 account...Zero. This is just the second day, but things are not looking good :). The prices will not be going down it seems.

In a Pay-to-Win game such as this (and all others) they keep taking out of game that which they can try to sell and make money off of in the l2store. I don't know when was the last time i got a Greater Rune Stone from ToI, or if they even drop there anymore. 90% of the things that you can aquire in this game are now money related. Eventually they will price us out and we'll move on. Been here for 18 years, but it seems i've even begun to search for something better.

OK i have to reply to this event. You all must be out of your freak'n minds. Who, at this point in this game, needs lvl5 crystals. And the highest is lvl8's? Well, thank you for saving me some money. Will not be buying any chest for this event. This one is actually really, really horrible.

Went to work at 4am, there was a winner right before i left. Its now after 4pm, there hasn't been another winner since. Not sure how this is a "game" or "event" if you don't actually have any winners.

I think the first few responses that you received from this post are correct only if you choose to focus on the "Supers" of this game. These are peeps that have spent thousands and from there made this game their own private super market. If you choose to try to keep up with the "Jonese" you better have very big pockets. From that, let me say that this game is still one of the best games that could be. Meaning, if the owners and GM's gave a damn this game, for its age, has all the potential and more of the newer games that are currently coming out. But it seems they keep making changes for the worse and they have no plans to fix it. Spoilers that have nothing to spoil, Erthias that can't make "love potions" because the items no-longer exist. Areas that have no meaning because you lvl pass them in less than 2 hours. Shops that have a few basic mates that you need and other than that are useless. Basically, the wrong company owns this game and should sell it to someone that gives a damn. They don't. World of Warcraft came out around the same time as L2 and the differences is incredible. They should have sold this game to Blizzard 10yrs ago. All that being said you can still find enjoyment in this game without opening up your pockets...to much. The game gives you enough gear and items to get to a lvl where you can join a clan, make friends, and have fun. Occasionally you might have to put a little cash into it to get a little of this and a little of that. But its only if you choose to go that route. It's a highly afk game with active time spent doing Instances with friends, zones solo or with friends, and AFK setup that is not supposed to happen, but everybody does it. Because all of the basic items are free i'd say try it for a week or 2, make sure you make 2 or 3 characters for buffs and heals, and go from there. DD of choice these days would be a DeathKnight. You might find that it can be fun. Or not.

Its mind boggleing how so many miss the point of post of this nature. War is for those who want it, if it was so much a part of the game then the number of members in a clan shouldn't dictate whether or not a war can be declared against you...See were i'm going here? Its not a war if theres no one to fight. The one man (with enough of his/her own alts) clan starts the war, has no toons in the field, but can easily search out your clannies and kill and be gone. WoW, so thats a war? Understand that those that talk about peeps like this would be happy to have a war with a clan that is just as "visible" as they are. Thats not how this works, and someday NCSoft will fix this...Someday..not holding my breath. And really, if the "game" still hasn't figured out that peeps use "exploits" to get the war started and never fix/address the issue toxic players of the type mentioned in the post will continue to exist. They are here just to be the toxic person that they can't be in RL. Try to understand that "War" is not the point of contintion here, it's how the game allows an exploit to get it started thats the problem.

Last time they had this, which was a while ago, they enhanced it for the supports because the average to mid tank/healer/iss didn't really stand a chance. Not sure if they plan to do that this time. We shall see. Oh yeah, and i think mad lag was in affect. So maybe this time it will be better for melee types.

First 10mins of PI and nothing, then finished up the 3 hours with 62 total. Not sure were that 100 in 3 hours came from but that must be the luckiest MF'er ever.

They never report the nerfs, we all just feel the difference when it happens. Just like any event there will be that person that can point to the greatness from his items. But if you're 1 in 100... the nerf is on.

HAHAHAHA, you so funny. The bots are just regrouping. They will find a way around any anti-bot program L2 comes up with. That being said, now is the time for the treasure chest for a "LIMITED TIME". Rest assured that the bots will find a work around. Its only a matter of time. I could give you an example of someone currently still using a "game enhancement program". But i think its illegal to name names and point fingers on the forum.

You are correct. There should be a pack that only gives items that are actually useful. These packs show you useful items that you will never get and you get only the bottom lvl items. And yet, we keep trying, and trying, and trying. Been playing for 17yrs and i'm quite sure i've put some kids through college that were not mine. Nobodies fault but my own. I can stop at any time(says the game-aholic).

Everything said here is 100% fact, there is not one part of this that i can say is not true. That being said i'll still be one of the "mentally challenged" that will over time buy probably 2 of those chest. Either to sell or to do the "Las Vegas" challenge. Currently even if i don't get anything, which i wont and i've mentally accepted that, i'll still have a few rose buffs to save from raids, etc. As pathetic as this is, and I am, if we choose to stick around and play this game we must except the fact that we are going to get "Played". I think that i've put $100-$200 USD in most events trying to atlease stay ahead of a 1 shot in most sieges and forced PvP. Pretty much impossible now that a large amount of the Supers are now lvl120 and Godly equipment. So yeah, knowing all that I know, and seeing all that i've seen in these money events...I'll still drop $100+ on these BS money events. I can't drop thousands, but i can WISH UPON A STAR each time i open those CHEST FROM HELL. This message was written by one pathetic fool that hasn't run from this game like any smart person would do.

This is what i find. If you change 1 character out of 3 on the same computer to target PC all will eventually change. Same for turning off auto pickup. All will stop picking up. Minor game glitch that i find i have to watch during castle sieges, or during Raids when i turn off auto pickup. Might not be what happened to you. Maybe all your characters are on different computers and this does not apply. But, since the game can randomly turn off your macro, its quite capable of just "magically" changing you from Monster to PC. If anyone says differently...thats just crazy talk.

This Update as you call it wasn't an update. This was you adding an area for farming purposes thats not working out well at all. No skill changes, no items added, no well anything. Not sure why you even put Update before the title. You are aware of the problem with the Summoners that can't lvl their summons beyond lvl110? One would think an Update might address such an issue. Maybe the skills that can flag even if you're set to attack monsters only. That should be in an Update. Maybe a possible fix for the economy. That should be in an Update. I have no idea what this actually was, but it was not an Update. Check World of Warcarft tomorrow for an idea of what an Update should look like.
