I completely agree with your statement. They are so detached from the game, its as if the only time they are on is when they post Server Maintenance information or events. Best just to be “free to play” player and wait for better MMO’s to come out.

BTW they had reduce the respawn time of monsters in Ruins of Agony before the last patch. On Classic Server Maintenance: Wednesday, February 10, 2021 = The respawn time for monsters in Ruins of Agony has increased. Kinda gets you thinking how come they changed it ? Before they addressed L2 Coin drop, Hmm.......

You guys do not get it do you? The L2 Coin change is intentional. Now you can reach the daily cap on one character but if you are running a macro group to farm coins it is pointless, only the main DD will collect coins. They added the S quiver to the L2 coin shop costing 10,000 L2 Coins and Clan Contribution cost L2 Coins as well. They want you to pull out your VISA. The only ones this did not affect directly are all the bots on the server especially the ones in RoA and AC. It is just business as usual since they are just using one character to farm.

I understand what you are saying. The point that I was getting at, is their failure to correct errors caused by incompetence in a timely manner. $375 a month may be a lot for some or chunk change for others. It could be $1 or $500 a month, the point is they are not fulfilling their part. If you are paying for a benefit you expect said benefit. I for one have decided not to continue supporting the game any longer. Not because the game is flawed but for the incompetence and clear disrespect towards paying customers. This game has so much potential, but its management is severely lacking.

To put in another perspective, you could lease a luxury car like a 2021 Mercedes-Benz A-Class for $375 a month. Think about it that way and you will see where I am coming from. The way I see it is, we the paying customers (VIP Players) have been robbed for 3 weeks. We have been robbed of our time, money and effort. The failure to fix the adena rate and l2 coin drop issue in a timely manner has cost us severely. Think of it like this : VIP 10 cost 30,000 points to maintain which is equal to $375 dollars. Part of the benefit is the 300 % item drop rate. The adena rate and l2 coin drop has been broken for three weeks, but you are still charging me VIP points. So basically, in a nutshell WE HAVE BEEN ROBBED. Compensation should be awarded to VIP players for the failure to fix the issue quickly. Reset the benefit duration for all VIP players to cover the time period that affected our benefits. Failure to correct issues in a timely manner should NOT cost players their benefits which are pay ahead of time.

Why are you thanking them for doing their jobs? If people were doing their jobs right from the get-go, we would not have had this issue. Okay you guys have really gone too far this time. THE GAME IS UNSUSTAINABLE in its current state. YOU NEED TO FIX IT NOW. It has been 2 weeks, and nothing has been done. The L2 Coin and Adena drop rate is COMPLETELY broken. This has affected the entire game population economy and you have not even provided feedback to us. There is no way you can play the game as is. You cannot even cover teleport costs. I am sure if there was an issue with players being able to buy NC Coin it would have been resolved quickly. What will it take for action to be taken? Maybe we should stop spending on the game? The game population was already at low numbers before you broke the game. Are you trying to get rid of players? If so, you are doing an excellent job. Address the issues while you can before it is to late.

That is some that will require effort on their part if they want to increase their company's revenue. "Look what happened when they had a 'sale event' and had 1000 soul shot ticket for 1000 ncoins. The math broke down to around 1000 ncoins = $12.50 = 15 million Adena." Totally right their math was completely off, 1000 tickets of Blessed Spirit shots at 134 per ticket = 134,000 shots. If you would buy at let us say Giran at 30% tax rate, the price would come out to 105 per shot totaling = 14, 070,000. Again, I 100% agree with your statement “The developers are to out of touch with server economics to determine the value." It goes back to them putting in the work to make a profit from players and enticing them to spend. The idea of providing Adena in the NC Store itself is a valid way for players to reduce that amount of time and resources required to play / enjoy the game. It would curtail some of the RMT and botting on the servers. It would generate additional revenue for their company. The problem as you stated is developers are to out of touch with server economics and I would add the game itself.

Put Adena for sale on the NC Store. Kill the RMTer and botters, why keep feeding them cash? If you put Adena in the NC Store you will cut down on RMT and botters and make players life that much easier. Why wait for events to drain players of their money? Just always have it there for them. That is what most players do anyways. They buy event items and setup sale shops to sell right back to RMTer and botters. Cut the middleman out. You will increase your company's profits. People setup macro groups to farm Adena to support their mains. So why not let people who have the cash but not the time, the ability to just straight out buy the Adena from the store? It's a win, win for both the player and your company. There will be less congestion in farming zones and create a less toxic environment. Right now, you have RMTers and botters taking up most of the "Good Adena Farming Zones" I say let them have it. I will just get my cash from the store and go exp, pvp, and or do raids instead of having to watch (baby) macro groups. Say I am feeling lucky and I want to blow 1 billion on random crafting, where will I get the funds? Surely not from farming it. If you put Adena in the store, I could just go and buy 1 billion and go to town on random crafting. I go on vacation and did not get a chance to participate in a event to sell items and I didn't have macro groups going while I was gone, guess what not only did I not make any Adena, but 10 of 10 times I also lost my macro groups hunting spot. If the NC Store had Adena for sale, I would not have to worry, I would just buy it from the store and go back to enjoying the game. If I had the ability to purchase Adena from the NC store, I would purposely buy my consumables from towns that do not collect taxes for the RMTers / Botters. Makes players waste more money than needed. I do not use shots on my supports but now you are forcing me to do so. You do not open new areas to farm adena for players, yet you keep making players spend adena on items they do not need. Why? Quit it already. Kill it and add an option to buy adena from the NC Store and stop with the nonsense. You cannot do any of the higher-level hunting zone without shots or spirt ore so just let the players decide. We really don't know that. They really don't know that. It's a guessing game as of right now. God knows what other mechanics they broke with this update.

They nerfed it with the Sayha's Grace. They want you to spend more adena / real money in the game. They should just add an option in the l2 store where you can outright buy adena with NC Coin, its being done now just differently. Do away with subterfuge and make it plain as day.

Yes, your right L2 Coins are not dropping anymore in elemental zones. Why is it that every update we get it seems like they break other mechanics in the game? Do you guys have a QA department? If not open a public test server so we can tell you what to fix before it goes live. I am a paying customer (VIP) and your failure to check the updates is costing (me) time and money. We need to be compensated for our time and money until you fix the issues. Your company needs to learn to respect its players time and money.

Is anyone else having problems with macro commands for auto hunting ? I keep getting "you have entered an incorrect command" . Did the marco command change with the update?

Will the VIP benefit Duration be reset or will the character with the highest duration be set as duration ?

Have you verified that VIP status will transfer over to TI? What is your plan for personnel who for example have VIP on Aden and TI? Will personnel lose their VIP points, or will they be added together? Server Consolidation Guide for Aden and Gludio Character Stats and Info All other general character statuses such as skill bar, class, level, skills, VIP points, VIP level, PK, PvP, color titles, and raid points are transferred during the server consolidation. It doesn't mention anything about dual VIP points and VIP level. Need some answers regarding this possible issue, pretty sure you guys did think about this right ?

Okay, I was going to sit this one out, but I must interject. He and his clan are not the problem if you really think about it. I am not picking sides here but let’s face the cold hard facts. Botting has been happening since the game came to be. Think about it, the only people that can fix the botting issue is NCsoft. As it stands now, it basically allowed, I mean just check out the low hunting areas and you will see it full of kamels and ponies. All it would take is for GM to do a sweep through and in 10 – 15 mins they could destroy all bots if they wanted too. Secondly, if you think about, there is RMT because there are people willing to pay. Those people are the ones you should really be angry with because they create the demand. I am pretty sure that the way they see it is that they are providing a service as morbid as that sounds. Buying trade-able items from the L2 store and then selling them, you are most likely selling to farmers for the most part. As the economy stands right now, most regular players cannot generate the amount of adena that said items are selling for currently. So, your feeding the “Farmers” the P2W items that allow them to pay for their bots by gearing them up. Which in turn enables their DD’s groups to basically solo those raid boss and hold castles to set the tax rate at 30%. Again, all NCsoft has do is have GMs log in and do random sweeps across each server and annihilate all those bots. It is very easy to tell the difference between AFK macros and bots. And lastly, they could do like they do or did on live and sell 30-day Epic Jewel packs and kill the “Farmers” ability to make profits on epic jewels. I personally would not mind supporting the game that way.

You make some valid points on your post and I agree with most of them. I do not play on Giran server, but I am 100% sure, there are people like you mentioned on each server. The changes that are being requested can positively affect said individuals, but the impact will be greater for “regular” players. As it stands now, most epic raids are already camped by “Farmers” at least the doable ones. The real issue is the lack of GM presence and punishment for “Farmers” and RMT in the game.

Okay, I see how this is going to play out and I am pretty sure the rest of you are smart enough to figure it out. For the most part all our concerns have been expressed on this thread. We can keep “posting” but all we can really do is wait and see. I am confident that we as a community of players, know what appropriate action(s) / step(s) need to be taken on our part based on what happens next. It’s great to see that we can come together and make our voices as one. When the time comes, I would ask that everyone collectively support each other with the appropriate action(s) / step(s) based on the outcome.

I don’t believe its just a GIRAN server problem. Some people are just jerks for no reason. If people can't see that the only way to make legit adena is afk farming with marco then they are either bot users or are whales. In the long run, the jokes going to be on them. What is the point of harassing people to the point where they just don’t care anymore and they quit? The “ bot users / whales “ will just end up playing by themselves on a empty server. All that $$$$ they spent will have been wasted for nothing.
