Everyone probably has same questions and few answers, but will ask anyway: 1. Are Shinemakers basically mages that use the exact same gear as Feoh? Or are they equipped like the old Summoners of the past that could use Leather armor and fighter weapons before they were forced to conform to the magic user model? 2. Can we subclass Shinemaker? 3. Will we be able to change existing main to Shinemaker during Red Libra? 4. Will we get Red Libra in November same day as Shinemaker update launch? 5. Patch Notes????

Yeah, the problem with Discord is that it's just one long, vomitous stream of conscious/comments. Hard to follow and get to quick answers, if a section hasn't already been established. I don't understand why they don't post the code here. Or better still, just leave the gifts with the Dimensional merchant on a timer. Anything not claimed goes bye bye at the end of the month.

Seeing your name makes me want to go back and read Raymond Feist's Riftwar series again. At least I can still afford to do that. Einhasad store? Maybe not so much.

I don't see anything in the shop that I want/need. (Plus, the prices are ridiculous.) Is that the intended design of the shop? Are there further changes to the game in the pipeline that will require players to go to the shop for essential gameplay functionality? Seriously, what's the friggin' point, if you're not going to put something worth buying in the shop?

I think Feoh should caution themselves and go into this with low expectations. No one wants "rebalancing" where mages are as dominant and relatively OP as they were in the early years of the game. Naturally, expect to gain something by losing something else. And as with archers, feoh will probably need to reach for their wallets and properly build their characters in order to get the utmost out of them. I hope I'm wrong about this, but I have a feeling we're all going to be a little let down with the class and reroll to whatever new race they create when the time comes.

Oh, I agree, but I suspect that it would be far cheaper to make a +20 Blessed Exalted weapon, if the weapon scrolls were sold in store at a reasonable price. You would see bot trains everywhere with +20 Bless Exalted weapons.

Maybe I missed something, but I thought Bless Exalted Weapons can now be enchanted up to +20 or something like that using the Bless Exalted Weapon Enchant Scrolls. (Unlike R110, which most people use Gold save and/or expensive Shining Gran Kain Weapon scrolls to get that high of enchant.) Is that not the case? If so, that probably explains why they won't sell them in the store 24/7. With just your wallet and a few clicks, players could easily equip a bunch of alts with +20 Blessed Exalted weapons for XPing and farming. Even with only 300 attribute, you can kill a bunch of mobs pretty quickly ... and cheaply, if they don't charge a ridiculous price for the scrolls.

1. They should stop giving buff pots for all of these paid promotions. Not one should have them. That alone stops me from participating in these "events." 2. Remove support and craft items from boxes, but make them all available through normal hunting at a good rate. That includes dyes, star signs, artifact crytals, etc., etc. Stop making people pay for crap that should be available through routine XPing, you greedy bastards! 3. Increase the odds of winning the top awards by 1000% AND increase the number and variety of top rewards. This game has been around for 20 years and there are still people who don't have even +10 cloaks, boss jewels, or dragon weapons. Flood the market with them so that people can purchase at reasonable prices, play and compete. (Those items alone won't make anyone elite, but they are a step in the right direction.)

Every old player that I know who wanted to return sees the cost of what it takes to get up to par with everyone -- not elite, just on same level to compete and level -- and they change their mind. It should not cost you $100K/yr to play this game. But with everything being impossible to get and only having a 0.00000000000001% chance of getting through an overpriced promotion, the writing is on the wall. I'm a returning player and I'll stick around for a little bit this summer, but odds are high that I will quit again. Shit is just too damn expensive with few in-game obtainable rewards and even less fun.

We get Rune Stones as we progress. We should also get Greater Rune Stones the same exact way. At least one every level from 110 onward. Untradeable, but fully restorable with Red Libra. Or maybe create a really cool quest to get them solo. Bring back good content and great rewards.

After hearing that other places got Black Coupons along with the anniversary event, I'm a bit miffed. Please give out Black Coupons this month. You can keep the Angel accessories that fail more than they succeed, even with 40% - 50% odds of success per enchant.

Did anyone actually get a GRS from this event? I only tried on 3 of my characters every day, so I figured it would be impossible for me. But maybe someone, somewhere, somehow got really, really, really lucky????

I second that. I guess we'll get more Angel jewels and pots instead but need more than that now.

When it comes to NCSoft, there is never a guaranty that we will get those offerings again. If so, it will probably be around the anniversary. But don't hold your breath.

We are at planet vs. pebble proportions now. My friends are quitting left and right because they can't afford to keep pace.

They're probably waiting until next week's update for the March freebies. Since this used to be a PVP game and the update is called Assassin, they should hand out a single-use Chrono Weapon with a unique mortal death skill that lets you kill anyone, anywhere.

The game has been around long enough and improvements were made to skill animations for the various races some time ago. Can we finally do away with the inability to change to Kamael, Ertheia, etc., races?
