  1. NCWest likes to screw us. Open wide, swallow hard. It's not a coincidence that most players are falling further and further behind with each update and they can't seem to catch up.
  2. It does take a little longer to kill mobs. I'm hunting in an area where the mobs are light blue now. Before update they were 1 - 2 shots on average to kill, now it's more like 3 - 4. The only good thing is that there are more ways now to boost attack stats, if you can afford it, or get lucky.
  3. At some level everyone pays to win. If not, the game would have shut down 10 years ago. If not they wouldn't allow people to trade any of the items purchased in the L2Store to other players. If not the prices for things in game wouldn't be 100x more than they have a right to cost. Same old crap, just a different update.
  4. I still haven't seen a single Greedy Chest. And it's not for lack of trying. Damn shame.
  5. The Collections thing really has me baffled. I know there are 5 - 10 people on both servers combined that would spend over 300B to get 1% - 3% boost for something, but the majority of the server can't and won't do that. So who is the Collections really for? All this just makes me wonder how good the players must have it in Korea. NCWest has scammed and screwed us royally, and with each update it becomes more and more apparent just how badly.
  6. I am hoping there will be a hidden modification that they haven't told us about. If not, get ready for lots of people to complain. It's not like everyone has Opal 5, or figured out a way to get their element attack up to 1300 cheaply.
  7. I get that, but I'm hoping for the best. Otherwise, mobs will be harder to kill AND many more of them will hit harder than they did in previous updates. Considering most of the server is still people running around in average gear, that's not good.
  8. Can't confirm until tomorrow, but the herbs were needed because of element defense of mobs. But the new update is supposed to decrease the p.def of most mobs, so maybe that is why the herbs are no longer needed? We will see.
  9. Hands down you want the Retributer. But there are slight differences in the weapons, if you look at the additional enchant bonuses that each gives you. For example, a Krishna Buster gives you more M. Accuracy and M. Skill Power when enchanted higher than +4. A Krishna Caster gives more M. Accuracy and Casting Speed. A Krishna Retributer gives you more M.Atk and M. Skill Critical Damage. Try for the Retri, but if for some reason you can't get one, or your only option is a choice between an OE buster and a OE caster, get the buster for the M. Skill power boost. When Red Libra happens you can change it to a retri. The weapons also differ in terms of inherent crit rate and speed, but I believe that applies only to the physical attack aspect of the weapon -- which is too bad. It would be nice if they changed the speed of the weapon to coincide with the skill cooldown time, meaning the faster the weapon speed, the faster you refresh your magic skills.
  10. Anyone who is leaving, please sell all of your equipment dirt cheap to me. I really would like a Stage 2 Bow for the price of a +12 R110 weapon, but we can work something out, since you won't need it at all.
  11. I don't mean to offend anyone, but 4B a month is terrible income rate. You can make that playing the market in under a couple of hours. If we're being honest, even 50B a month is not good when you consider how much it costs to properly equip your character. You could play for a year and still not have enough to craft a Stage 1 Dragon weapon at that rate. Everything about the adena income rate in this game is so terribly wrong. You are becoming a slave to the machine. I am all for putting in time and investing, but if you don't earn enough to get a Dragon Weapon in 3 - 4 months, then it is pointless to try to play this game. You will never catch up. You will never be competitive in PVP. Maybe in 3 years, but not in a reasonable time.
  12. NCWest players are finally realizing that they're only dollar signs on a ledger and that's it. But that doesn't stop people from buying. Look at all of those sell shops for coins now. The only way to force them to do what you want is to stop buying. When they decide to behave in a more fair manner and not literally at your expense, then you can buy. Until then post like these will keep showing up with no one that matters paying any attention.
  13. I know you say this is a serious question, but it comes across as rhetorical. You already know the answer. The better question is why is the cheating allowed? If regular players know what the elites are doing, the GMs and NCSoft knows it. After all, people in Korea cheat, too. Nothing new under the sun by the time the game gets rolled out here in the West. They could catch and kill the 3rd party stuff before it even starts. But they don't.
  14. If the skill is common to your old and new class, you keep it. But if it's different, even if that difference is name only, you lose the skill. All archer classes get Last Chance, so you keep it.
  15. Thought I'd ask anyway. The difference between me buying 2000 more Ncoins and me not buying any more Ncoins at all. I bet several other players are making the same calculation. Sometimes a company has to look at lost opportunity costs like that and decide if their sale policies maximize their net, or detract from it.
  16. @Hime @Juji Sounds like another good reason to remove 1 per account limitation of Eruption pots package.
  17. DEX is good for P. Skill Crit Rate. So, too, is Cancer Agathion. And Artifact. And the new dyes give you DEX as well as STR and CHA... so can we please stop with the zero sum thinking? You can max out DEX and STR and CHA, if you are either lucky or rich enough. More than one way to skin a cat.
  18. @Hime @Juji Is there any way you guys can please either increase the limitation to 2 packs allowed per account, or reset after the weekly update and let us buy 1 more pack? These really helped me to go from 106 to 107.8, but now I'm almost out of them. One more pack would help me get to 108-109 and then I can just slog through to 110 without them.
  19. As you can see, asking any questions on this forum is bound to result in PVP. First question I have for you is what are your in-game goals? PVP or PVE? Strike out "farming adena", because it's pretty much impossible to do that these days with the low adena drop amounts. If PVE... The +15 R99 Bloody Bow and +8 Bloody light set is fine for now. It will get you to 110. After that, yes, you are going to want an R110 Bloody or Limited Bow. Mobs now have more Attribute defense, and even if they decide to keep the herb pots around that boost players' attack attribute, the 300 attribute from R99 doesn't compare to the 450 attribute from R110. It's expensive as hell, but eventually you'll want to step up to R110. Having said that, the beauty of being an archer is that you have three viable options for a build and all work in PVE. The first is use all of your money for a top weapon. The second is to use all of your money on accessories, skill enchants, and other items that enhance an archer's lethality. The third is to do a little of the first two. I chose the second. Average weapon, but for the price that it costs to buy or make a +12 R110 Bloody or Limited, I went all in on accessories, talismans, agathions, circlets, jewels, artifacts, cloak, dyes, and on and on Focus on items that boost P. Skill Crit Damage, P. Skill Power. I can't tell you what to do PVE because there's really no wrong path. But I notice that you didn't mention an Elmore Cloak. If you don't have one of those, make that your next major purchase. If PVP... Forget about it, unless you're rich irl. There are too many elites who can 1-shot you, even if you're equipped with a +10 Limited R110 Light set and a +27 Limited Bow. You're going to need at least a Stage 1 weapon to tickle them. So focus instead on leveling. Come back here when you get to 114 or so, and we'll give you more encouraging advice. Of course by then you'll already know what's up.
  20. @Hime @Juji Please consider making Power Provoke more powerful range/area of effect-wise and giving it the option of being an automatic skill.
  21. I was disappointed that the glow of +21 and up R grade didn't translate to some of the lower grades. Now I don't really care. I'm five Bloods away from getting a weapon that can't be modified anyway. I'm moving on.
  22. The summons have AOE skill attacks. Are you saying that when you use those summon skills Beast Blessed SpS still aren't being consumed?
  23. They should extend it, but not for that reason. Red Libra should be a permanent feature of the game. The fact is for the first time in months people actually enjoy playing the game again now. Having Red Libra gives them the option to hunt, make changes and exchanges when they realize a path their on is wrong or too difficult for their class, and generally contribute to building a viable class of players who will invest in the game. They can have as many L2 store promotions as they want to, but nothing compares to Red Libra. They should extend it for a week or two.
