I agree with the comments here. Allow some type of upgrade for our existing Ferios and Elmore Cloaks. For example, 4,000 NCoin to exchange an original +10 cloak to a new +10 cloak. 4,000 Ncoin to exchange an existing 15 cloak to a new Supreme Cloak. Something like this would be the right thing to do considering how much we have spent on the original cloaks. Thanks!

I don't think it is just me, however this last update is causing a lot of Random DC's on my toons. Are you intentionally DCing toons to make AFK parties die so you can teleport them to town, and then cause us to buy the hyperinflated Teleport scrolls? If anyone is having major DC issues, please chime in.

I understand a company has to make money. However, this change is going to push a lot more people away. By automatically porting dead toons, you are requiring the additional use of Teleport scrolls. However the cost of those scrolls is now too high. Inflation should not be hitting an artificial world. For those of us that want to go do Raids, it becomes prohibitively expensive to port our parties there. Consider keeping the teleport scrolls as you have them now for L2Coin, just make it the same cost as they were. It becomes a wash and you increase Ncoin and L2 Coin purchases. Instead if it being 1 teleport scroll at 20 L2Coin, it should be 50 teleport scrolls for 20 L2Coin. Or even better put things back the way they were. This is supposed to be a fun escape from our real world lives. Don't bring more stress and pressure here.

Can you please share if the Devs agreed to change adena?

I have been on TOI 3 with 4 unique other players running a 4 person party, not soloing. To cover consumable costs, I need to make 15M adena per day. With the new change to adena, I am making 10.5 per day. I am officially going negative. There are 2 options to make adena now. 1) Turn off SS and kill much slower. 2) Ask 2 of my friends to leave party, going down to a duo. Both of those options will allow me enough adena to cover costs. These changes are having the opposite effect of making people work together.

Welcome to the game. Titan is a great class. Your best bet is to join an active clan that can help you. There are several out there. You will need to see what kind of gear they can help you with. This game is all about doing damage and taking damage. As for adena, they cut for everyone, there is no adena unless you setup some pure adena farms to feed your main. However be prepared to fight for those spots as a lot of people run their main party and then have adena farms to support them. Your number goal right now is to find an active clan, in my opinion. They will help level you, and gear you and share their knowledge.

Instead of complaining, I will offer another piece of constructive feedback. Myself and other used to maintain VIP status for the VIP benefits (Brez, EXP, Brooch, Talisman and Agathion Bracelets). You thought it is better to take all of that away. Ok, your business your decision. I don't have to spend money anymore, because, well there is no need to spend money to maintain VIP. What would help me though is to see a forward looking 3 month roadmap. For example, if you could give us something like this: April 1-14 EXP Event and Agathions April 15-30 No event May 1-15 Talisman Event May 16-31 No event June 1-15 Hat Event June 16-30 Pendant Event By seeing something like this, I know when I would need to save up discretionary funds for the game and when not to. Also when you have the events, if you improve the odds of actually winning I bet you would get more people spending. Remember hard core gambling isn't exciting to most people on Classic. Give us more of a return on what we could spend, and we would spend more. That way we have gear for our mains and boxes. Just ideas out of my little brain.

I live just outside of Houston, TX, I have a Core i9 with 16GB of RAM. I have run packet loss tools and don't have any issues. It is weird because if I have 9 clients open, one will randomly drop, then another. Sometimes all boxes drop except my DD. If they get us fair priced Brez availability, I can live with the DC's.

There are a lot of people complaining about various different things. The largest issue I see are still the random DC's and the fact that we can no longer get BRez Scrolls. When the boxes randomly DC, the party gets wiped. It takes 5 Brez to get everyone back. I have 3 sets of DC's today with party wipes. Without Brez, it takes 5 days to recoup the loss of Exp. When stored Brez run out, it is no longer feasible to play as parties will be going backwards. Nevermind Adena and lower exp in general so to recoup will take even longer. Are there any plans to allow us to acquire Brez scrolls?

Did you change character setting? My Atk Speed and P Atk are lower from what I recall.

Curious is it just TI or both Classic servers? My accounts are all good, but some clannies are having that issue. They are as frustrated as all of you.

This sucks, but nobody promised us life would be fair. Unfortunate, and dis-heartening is what we get. If NCSoft cared, they would have done something about it early on. However this game seems to be a cash cow that they are milking. When companies do that, they care less about the players and only maximizing every dollar they can get.

I have to agree, this event is insane for how someone is exploiting it. How can the top item be gone before the event starts? How can NCSoft not look into this? Look at the logs of when the item was won by someone and the official server time and event start time. Also, look how the items all go out at almost the same time. Last thing to point out, someone isn't a character name, whoever won it is being kept hidden. Because regular winners get their toon name displayed.

Welcome back Veiq. My opinion below. Too much has changed. PK system is different, no penalty for being red. When a player kills a red toon, nothing is dropped. If a mob kills you while red you have a chance to drop something into jail, but you can buy it back out. There is no Grade penalty. My advice, look for S Grade everything you can, then put that gear on your L1 toon, follow the newbie guide to get to Level 20 in about 15 minutes. Pick you main, and at least 4 boxes, more likely 5 boxes. Level them up together in duo's. Melee main toons, need a WC, BD, PP, SWS and Cat buffs. Mage mains need an OL, BD, PP, SWS, Pony, SE for Wild Magic and Empower. Mage's exp faster than melee. This is pretty much a solo game. You can find clans, some are there with active players, but most player are already 80 plus so expect little help until you get up higher level. On TI Private Warehouse is stil active and helping new players I think. Yes you will have to invest in the game to be competitive. But maybe you don't want to be. If you are a mage, your goal is Antharas Lair, if you are Melee you will end up in TOI. How much to invest is up to you. I know of people that have/had over $100,000 in their toons. I know others that don't spend $20 per month. They aren't even on the same field when it comes to damage or capability. One of the biggest problems I see with the game is that the pay to win events have such low odds of success, only the biggest whales can afford top items. So people spending less feel defeated early because they can never keep up or even dent the whale bully's when they get bored and start wreaking havoc. Thankfully most of them seem to have left the server because they ran so many other people off, not many left for them to hassle. Should you play? If you have time, nostalgia and don't mind playing solo for a while go for it. My advice don't pick a box/healer as your main, nobody needs them as most of us have our own already.

Depends on what you want to play as your main. Melee Main then you need a WC, BD, PP, SWS, and Cat to get to highest levels, and in that order. Best to bring them up in duo's Magic User then you need an OL, PP, BD, SWS, Pony to get to the highest levels. Magic toons exp faster than melee toons, less running to hit a mob can stand in place and shoot 360 degrees. Magic toons need more gear, and they use SPS which are expensive.

There are lots of things they could change, but our opinions aren't listened to. However here are some of my thoughts: 1. Stop the Random DC's. Most of us have real lives, and we need to let the game play while we work. If we are always DCing, then what's the point? 2. Make the gambling events have better odds. Rates are too low and turn people off. Why will I drop $300 per month to watch it disappear? Give me something for my $300 and keep me interested. 3. Quests would be good. It is difficult for me to clannies together to do raids, so quests would be nice as I don't need clannies to do those. 4. With TI so dead, I don't see PK anymore, so no need for a change unless the server fills back up and it becomes a problem. On TI at least, the people that caused the problems have moved on.

Since the last update, the success rate, which was already low, has dropped further. Multiple people are seeing that items are not enchanting especially those of us working on collections. I had a spear trying to go from 4-5 and 4 stable scrolls in a row failed. That has NEVER happened to me before. Something is way off. But you likely don't care. I also went from VIP 10 to VIP 9 today. nothing worth keeping my VIP level up. Again, you likely don't care, but at least it is out there. Reasons I am no longer VIP10: 1. Too many random DC's. 2. No new content. 3. Gambling success rates are way too low. It is a waste of money to gamble on these events.

I know this will fall on deaf ears like all other suggestions, but at least I vent it out. It is clear that NCSoft no longer cares about Classic. They are moving players to other games. I just want to take time to write what I think would have helped keep Classic alive. 1. In my opinion one of the biggest problems today are the random and mass DC's. The game needs to be more stable, so many other games are stable, why isn't Lineage2? How can other games persist through minor packet loss, but Lineage 2 can't? At VIP 10, I don't get enough BRez to keep Brez'ing my party from the DC's and party wipes. 2. Gambling. By making everything a gamble, only the top players can truly spend money to get top gear. The large majority of players can't compete on the spend. The majority of players get discouraged and quit or don't invest. Maybe they just play their solo farm game. Now if you must have gambling, your rates of success need to be high enough that people think they are getting value for what they are spending to get that item. If your rates are too low, then why spend money to get nothing? The majority would then be able to fund their main, while the deep pocket players can then fund and upgrade their entire party. 3. PK system. That wrecked a lot of the game. No real consequences for PK and harassment, it pushed a lot of people out. There needs to be consequences for bad behavior. These things mentioned, are not new to the forum. They have been talked about for years. And nothing will happen from me writing them down, except I know I was able to at least voice my opinion. It is a shame that a game with such nostalgia and dedicated players has been cast aside and gutted. Most businesses would love to have the passion of customers like Lineage2 has.

I combined two Queen Ant 3 rings today to make a Queen Ant 4. Instead if it giving me a Queen Ant 4 it gave me a Queen Essence and told me to see Blacksmith Ferris in Aden to get the QA4. I go to Ferris and there is no option to get the QA4. I submitted a ticket, and the the services people told me my item is unable to be restored. I don't need it restored, I just want the QA 4 as the Essence is nothing. If they don't want me to get the QA4, then give me back my 2 Queen 3 rings. Thank you in advance

It is frustrating because they took away Blessed SS, just have melee users use regular SS, while Mages must use BSPS. Now they nerf the SS even further, when mages still rule the server. Melee only have a chance if they can get close to a mage, but great geared mages kill melee before they get close, so melee has no chance. So the only real option is for melee to just PVE, because in PVP, unless you spend $30k in gear, you can't compete.

A a melee, for years, mages had the advantage for EXP, Adena everything. Mages looked down on us melee and told us to suck it up and re-roll mage. Now the melees get one good area to EXP and the mages complain. For what it's worth, there are mages EXPing in TOI. Go look at TOI4, it is all mage party's. I suspect the problem is actually the wallet size of the whales compared to the rest of the server. Because some people have more money to spend in game, others feel like they will never catch up or be competitive and then they end up feeling like, what's the point of playing. To me it is the sense of feeling like you can't progress unless you spend $500+ per month that is bringing you down.

You all don't get it. LCOIN is working as intended. Last person to hit gets the coin until they max then it goes to the next person in line in the party. If you want more LCOIN, pull out your credit card and buy it. They have lost so many players, they need to mile you for everything they can. So they make it up by taking what they used to give free. Just like Microsoft first gave Windows away for free. Get people hooked, and then charge them. No complaints, you are owed nothing in life or in this game. Pay to Play.
