  1. Just like to follow up on this thread that was written by @Wisp below? Any comments?

    You said you were going to provide an enhanced gaming experience, aside from you taking things away and making support utterly useless,  Have yet to see anything close to "enhanced" 

     

    You said you were going to improve engagement and support.. well.. we all know about support.. or lack of it. Gm's / community managers have yet to say anything to players in the "new Discord!" Communication has actually gotten worse... Your "updates" are once a week right before servers go down. No roadmap, no patch notes, ZERO communication, and again, your support staff .... I cant even come up with a word that describes it, it is SO bad. I honestly don't know why you even have a support staff?

     

    It's been a fiscal quarter, I think your player base has been more than patient waiting for these promises.. 

    But we've all been playing long enough to know, none of this was going to happen, Same old NC Soft West, same empty promises and same ptw events that are falsehoods to the player base with less that honest rates.

    Allow me to reintroduce myself as your Community Manager!

    NCSOFT West has recently undergone a significant internal restructuring, resulting in the formation of NC America, a newly unified entity dedicated to providing an enhanced gaming experience to all our players.

    Our goal is to improve engagement and support to levels beyond what we've achieved before. However, I want to acknowledge that the process of ramping up will take some time. We are committed to rebuilding and strengthening our connection with the community, and your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated during this transition.

    In the coming weeks and months, you can expect increased communication, regular updates, and a renewed focus on community engagement. Your feedback and insights will play a vital role in shaping the future of Lineage II. While we may not be able to respond to every post individually, rest assured that we are actively monitoring and compiling your feedback into comprehensive reports for the key departments and individuals working on these games.

    i. Use, or provide others with, any software related to the Services designed to automate, modify, or display information regarding operation or function of the Services.
    v. Create, use, offer, promote, or distribute any cheats, bots, or hacks.
    vi. Access, acquire, copy, or monitor any portion of the Services, or circumvent the navigational structure of the Services.
    x. Defraud, harass, threaten, or cause distress to any other user of the Services.  (how many of you were harassed or threaten by players being reported for booting? I know a few ... )
    xiii. Buy, sell, share, or transfer Use to the Services to or from any third party (including buying or selling Virtual Goods from or to other players for real money)."
     

    I could add the part with the in game conduct .... you know rasial discrimination/ insults ... etc. but unfortunately you do not spend time in game to see this... mybe every 6 months for a GM buff.

     

    It is your Team choice how you set events, promo's any game content! BUT...

    ... you guys have to ensure a fair game... that is your duty as GM's, this is what you ensure you will provide.

    It is pathetic to see the RMT's on the official discord! speecheless .... (by the real name they use)

    It is pathetic to see the same guy's with "friendly" BAN's for Booting... just to shut up the community.

    booting and RMT's are the first reason for this server going in the ground! do you think this people give a S H I T, they will just move to another game/server to leech when are done here...

    that's LOL... NC Soft has defrauded me multiple times with inaccurate rates. You fail a 50% chance 12 times in a row, and they'll try and tell you with a straight face.. that's normal, now give us more money.

    Of they are just using the same names? The response time has tripled, the replies show they don't even read the messages we send, it has gotten so much worse, its beyond garbage as it sits now. 

  4. The current support that NC Soft is outsourcing to is absolutely horrific. They just use a blanket "we can't help with that" for nearly everything. And when they are able to provide a service (which will typically take 5 messages and about 7 days) their response to that is something similar to "Log out for 3 days, and we will email you when we are done" 

    I am honestly trying to figure out why we're all still here? The prices have tripled for everything in the last year, the communication is non existent, you have removed nearly everything from the game and put it behind a paywall, and now you have outsourced to a "company" that seems to be run by one person who does nothing. 

    What are we paying you for again?

    I don't get it. The exchange rate of Einhasad Gold combined with greed of players makes the World Trading Post completely useless. What is the point of having it, if no one can afford to use it? Why not just link the Auction Houses for both servers into one platform? At least that way you cut out the Gold exchange rate mark-up. I get that you can't do anything about player greed, but World Trading Post seems broken before it ever started. 

    It's just one more manipulative tactic to try and get people to buy their inflated "gold"

    Well, see, it's part of this event called Red Libra, where you can take your current stage 3 weapon, and you pay $2k to trade it in for a "random box" that contains another stage 3 weapon. If you go to the traders of the red libra event, you will see the ability to trade your stage 3 for a "box". However as I said in the original post, its a chance as to what you recieve in the box, so again ... NC Soft has an expectation that people are going to pay upwards of $2k for a "service" that doesn't guarantee you get what you want,  and furthermore it's just as likely you get literally NOTHING, and get the same exact weapon in return. 

     

    Sooooooooooooooooooo it has nothing to do with my investment, and everything to do with NC Soft's expectations that things in the game should ALWAYS be a gamble and costs thousands of dollars just to pull the lever on the slot machine, without (in this case) winning anything at all.

    over here it costs .... $2000 (we pay $40/400 einhasad so 20,000 einhasad = $2000)

    also, the "power within" event over here costs roughly twice as much as it cost in Korea/Japan and a bit more that double what it cost in Core

    NCWest will never learn

    $1500, $2000, $10,000 my point still stands. Why even bother? It's totally pointless ... $2,000 for a chance to get the exact same weapon.. then just light your money on fire? Who is making this up? we throwing darts at a board called, ridiculous things players will never do, and that's how you all decide your prices?

  8. This is where I think I get off this train. The fact that NC Soft thinks this is an acceptable price just proves this company and its employees are totally and completely disconnected from its customer base. 1500$ for a Chance... and you don't even win anything, you simply get a different weapon that one you already spent thousands on making in the first place?

    Choo choo... last stop crazy town... Nope... maybe I'll check back in next update.

    @GM_EVA  Why do you refuse to answer us about Greater Rune Stones? Why are you constantly ignoring the post while you answer others repeatedly?

  10. Welp, 2 Greater rune stones in game, 200b now. So one person out of 1000+ will be able to learn a skill, if they have 400 BILLION adena. Maybe in 4 months well get two more!?!?!?

    Level 110 skills, and @GM_EVA @Wisp have starved the server so much, what was once 16b a stone is now 1150% increase in price, and the drop rate is nearly non-existent in game, AND you have a better chance of getting a dragon weapon that a Greater Rune Stone from the latest event boxes.. 

     

    WELL DONE you two! Well done! You have taken something that is a staple of the game, something basic which all characters of level 110 should be able to get..  and destroyed any chance of anyone getting it. IN a time where your player base is telling you how utterly ridiculously high your prices are, you have decided to remove the GR stone and drive up prices...  If you guys are writing a book on how to alienate a player base, make them all quit and destroy a game.. you guys are crushing it!!!!

  11. They'll always get some money, because people have to test the rates. After we test, we all come back here and warn others not to waste money. I bought 100 boxes, and I honestly have to say, it was the absolute WORST return I have EVER had... just utter and complete garbage. You're better off, as someone said, lighting your money on fire, you'll get WAY more entertainment out of that!

  12. Some of them aren't bots, many of them are solo players that don't have the gear (Because NC Soft starves everyone of gear unless you pay thousands $$) and this is the only way they can get points and XP.  When I can't get a party,  I am 100% going after flowers and lights.

    If they are afk.. kill em, they're a great way to farm bloody coin. If there on your server, work with someone else to swap kills.

    EULA doesn't matter, NC SOft West has broken the EULA MANY times, they enforce it only when it is convenient for them. It only goes one way .. their benefit. 

  14. Because NONE of you seems to understand how being a human works, let me help you. A NORMAL gaming company that cares, JUUUUUST a little bit about its community, after an announcement like... OH Well were removing the ability for you to change your classes or subclass with the chaos essence, would THEN follow that up with an update on WHY!

    Why? Oh we have decided that were going to make red libra constant.. YAY

    We decided to implement something NEW, or a NEW feature in the next content patch which should be MUCH sooner than you are used to, we will expand on this more, but don't worry it will be worth it!

    FREAKING ANYTHING would be what a NORMAL community manager would do... you? You just say.. we're removing something you all use and were not saying anything or telling you anything because after TWO DECADES of our player base BEGGING for us to be more communicative... we just refuse to and will continue to hate on you...

    Where is the Anniversary Event?????? Nothing just Nothing from NCWest staff to make the PlayerBase happy. We are all quitting very soon bcz of such Management, No communication, Very bad promos, Very bad events,

    the game has a potential of revenue that is very high and NCWest dont care, they dont listen, dont give us what we want, l2Europe is having great promos/event
    Same in other regions
    Only in NCwest we are getting nothing, Even anniversary event yearly has been removed

    We Should reach out to the other official lineage 2 servers and see if they would allow us to "transfer" one toon with all our gear and leave Chronos and Naia for dead.
