this account got a month ban, some permanent penalty points and posts deleted saying such stuff some months back, needless to say have not logged ingame since. Hard to see things changing. But i do feel better away from this. What is happening here is not health in many ways and not a game anymore sadly you need to be an adult and understand that this game is not yours or mine or anyone's, its NCs. They can set it on fire or turn it into a mobile game (which it has been for years) anytime they want. We are just here too long and falsely claim some ownership due to nostalgia. I mean the majority who still play has been around more time than the current gms knew there was a game named l2 Even this forum is just a formality. Never had anything of substance to contribute since early days. It never had any real sense of community, interaction with player base or engagement in general. You realize the "moderators/gms/staff" eventually drive the people, who chose to spend their time here, away, by banning or ignoring them over time. It's just the same old 10 people bickering over the same things through the weeks on different accounts probably. @Wissphere is another topic for you, how have you get players to engage in the forums? @the rest of the moderators/staff here. You can ban this account, delete the posts, it does not matter anymore. What is written here is feedback. Most times it happens to be bad and come out of frustration, frustrations which you caused one way or another. Maybe ask yourselves why do people not engage in here anymore, why are the same 10 people only here, why everything is negative, why do people complain here all the time. Could the reason, be YOU? Maybe consider throwing a dog a bone every now and then instead of going all in your mobile game/whale hunting bs. just some food for thought from an ex-player on (probably) a permanent break form this. i am really sorry to say this but the person or people who thought of this "compensation (?)" AND the people who approved this should at minimum be demoted and out of the decision-making process, or flat out try their hand at another position/job @Hermes you ppl can keep this compensation man, no one really needs or wants it. As people mentioned when you came along, it will be an uphill battle for you and so far, things do not look promising. Don't be a 2nd Juji, blank statements like "we understand", "we appreciate you" etc will not fly forever. Be a real person and not a computer-generated answer machine. I'd say do your job properly, but then I realize this is the proper way to do your job, ignore and fleece this flock to the max. I see the pattern...

same bro.... so sad about it.... i had old buffs, old subclass skills, old hero skills from before p2w era when you could actually get it... i love to feel the effects of other ppls mistakes... even better when they cannot be fixed...

instead of consumables and temporary stuff, make all the employees responsible for the server's problems (including the ridiculous support/ticket team) log into the game and interact with people for a chunk of time. If you can imagine, in the pre p2w times, actual GMs roamed the servers talking to ppl and solving actual problems in real time. It's crazy i know, but it used to be the norm. i guess I'm just suggesting they should be inconvenienced by forcing everyone to log into the game as ALL player base was inconvenienced by the latest F ups. I'm pretty sure that will stick with them for the next time something might go wrong, instead of sprinkling 10 different types of the same pot in your inventory for 12 days or w/e.

here is my suggestion for compensation - no xp - no red libra - no pots (timed or no) we all got inconvenienced for what? 1-5 hours? more? you get to do the same. every GM, ALL THE SUPPORT TEAM ( i cannot stress this enough), every single person whom we have to interact with when we send tickets, logs into the game for w/e long the server problems were and HAS TO INTERACT WITH ACTUAL PLAYERS, so we can all be sure you all know wtf is happening in your servers and how this game works. enjoy

really funny and fun for the people who have not logged for some time, even funnier for the people with many alts, even more for the people who like some STABILITY AND COMPETENCE from the game they PAY for. here have some free ballz. funny stuff right there, har har... let me put it like this about the hot bars. You have set up your house like you like. The bank, or landlord or your spouse comes in when you are away and takes every single thing out. Can you get everything in order? Sure you can. BUT would you not a) be annoyed as F, b) ask them WHY, and c) expect reparations for your inconvenience to put everything back? P.S. i had some legacy skills on my bars form old times, for the memories, all gone, some hero skills form old times all gone hope the reparations do not involve timed consumables of consumables in general for that matter. this is a mistake the inconveniences the whole severs populations, not just the pvp whales. It's a mistake that we did not cause, that the ppl who made the mistake cannot fix, and that everyone of us has to address individually

what is embarrassing is you ppl not understanding this is a gatcha game now, been one for such a long time you don't even see it. explain to someone who does not play this game how things work and how much you spend and see their reactions. It'll be a sobering experience for many here. It's so bizarre to constantly see people complain, not being heard, their suggestions not been considered to the least, and still spend so much in this game. What are you doing ppl?

on the subject of lag etc @Hermes would you mind limiting the events that cause people to log a billion alts just sitting there afk in towns for a chance at a reward? Is that possible?

@Jujias a person behind the pc, i wish you the best, truly, and hope w/e you end up doing fulfills you. Being away from this place tends to do everyone good in my experience. As a player though... You were terrible at cultivating this game and this community. Despite the well-wishing let's not forget that hand you played in bringing the game in the situation we are in now. As for the rest of the people here well-wishing, i can understand doing this on a personal level to some1 you do not actually know out of politeness, BUT are you really happy with the way this game was handled the past 10 years? for real? coz years ago people had the old mentality that it's a game and you play win. It still shocks me how casual people are at the state of pay-to-win. People still pay for overpriced "promos" they consider as "events". Back in my day... .blah blah blah. They make same things more expensive? You ppl still buy. They make OE harder? You people still buy. You complain, you get ignored? You still buy. You do not buy with nccoins but ingame with adenas? It's the same effect, some1 else still buys so you can have access to items that are not accessible ingame any other way and are essential to play. Promo is successful. Zero reason to change or hear / reply to community. Maybe it's time to take a look at yourselves.

@Maydayseperate your text into paragraphs so people can read easier the thing is we were asked for input. We got 0 acknowledgment of the player's input, NC is quiet as a fish. WRITE A POST "WE READ WHAT YOU WROTE AND WE UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEMS, WE ARE CONSIDERING "A", "B" AND "C", WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED". Not only was our input ignored, but what we pointed out almost unanimously as a positive, player-friendly change was reverted just last restart. Then an xp event started which will quiet people, make them forget the problems, as they log every toon they got to xp. Classic misdirection. And i ask you all, say you log to xp, afk ofc, and you get 114-117-120 then what? what is the content you are moving to? what will change for you gameplaywise? The market will still be lootbox centric, the same mobs will still be there to give you no drops so you can afk more, old lootbox promos will circle around and the mobile-style-gameplay will still be there. I think I'm done. Even having a toon logged in seems like I validate the stupid decision upon stupid decision these ppl make. "Look they complain and we do nothing about it, we even do the opposite of what they say they like, blame it on the devs, and they still log in. All you have to do is throw an xp event when they seem super agitated and all is good". Sincerely devs/NC/mods GTFO. To the people who enjoy this, good for you. I'm sure the "devs" love you and work hard for your enjoyment of opening lootboxes.

1st of if you do not ask what you want, you will never get what you want. 2nd if oyu like how this game is ran what's the problem? no matter how much ppl complain nothing seems to change in players favor, be happy and enjoy your game. What bothers you or seems irrational of what people want? The rest of us will find something else to pass time eventualy. Have fun

i still remember some memorable gear i crafted or farmed over the years like crafting and enchanting my old r99 bow, blowing my adenas enchanting my old +6 armor before i stopped playing many years ago crafting 2 blessed draconic parts, been giver a whole vorpal set from my old clan for participating in Tiat runs (i think it was Tiat, don't remember well) having the mats to craft black ore and after majestic jewels finally, farming A grade helm recipes with a spoiler friend dropping a kris dagger early on, getting my turn of epic jewels after months of farming the raids with the old clan and so on and so forth. i invested time, paid my subscription like everyone else, played the game, got frustrated occasionally and had fun. Met friends and enemies, helped people and got helped. I got joy out of the time invested. I actually felt shame buying gear from l2 store. The blessed exalted i use now, the cloak i use, artifacts and so on. I get 0 enjoyment popping those Aden chests that give 70k or w/e. why are even the drops in random boxes? the chances to get a box is low enough, why stack another low chance over this? I was shocked at what i was seeing this game turn into about 2 years ago when i relogged after 3-4 years off. Felt like i was the odd one out, logged among zombies who find all these things acceptable. Glad people finally had enough and I'm not the only one. Either salvage the game or kill it, I'm cool with both, not gonna stick around for more of what is going on right now

@Juji @Hime @LIME why don't you give us some feedback that you a) read the thread b) understand the problems listed c) are doing something about some of them as some1 else mentioned here, start by a small step and provide some actual results. Personally, I'm all fed up with how you people operate this. Stopped this game before will most likely do it again in a very very short time. THIS IS NOT FUN. I'm too old to play mobile games, old enough to have seen how proper games are made and played. Mobile games I'd rather play on my toilet.

my guess is same reason prestige does not get applied to the whole account but just 1 toon. Poor planning and disregard if players/clients fun. Decisions being made by mobile game designers who never played this 20y old game
