Could you please clarify this statement? 1. How are we supposed to use VIP points? One can't do anything with those points, they just consumed every month and reduce VIP level if they are lower than threshold. I have many months worth of VIP points on many chars, how am I supposed to use them up and how are you going to compensate for this? 2. A bit earlier, during one of the updates which involved conversion of Runes to Soul Crystals - stage 1 runes were removed from VIP coin shop, and it was the only item which was worth buying in VIP coin shop. Could you at least return them to the shop (in the form of Aden Crystals lvl 1)? Thanks in advance!

@Juji, is there any update on this? Is there any guidance for customers on what to do? I cannot start my party for hunting because I'm missing key buffers on those accounts. VIP10 time is ticking, XP runes time is ticking, event time is ticking. Also I'm worried what would happen to the accounts I didn't use for a while - should I try logging them in, as I worry that later, when more time passes and I figure out they were also "restricted" - supposedly support will just start giving canned replies and I will lose them for good. Could you please provide us with current status update and guidance? Thanks in advance! P.S. I've opened ticket from few accounts which I checked and they were restricted, as well as from one of my VIP10 accounts. No traction on any of those.

@Juji what is the guidance here at the moment? 1. Try to log all my accounts and check if they are affected by this problem and cut a ticket? (It is annoying as some of them I didn't log for a while, so will require a lot of validation code confirmations). 2. Wait until you will solve this on your side? If so, what is an ETA for the fix? Seems very widespread issue, @Juji I have some accounts I'm not using for quite a lot of time, should I try logging them all, send tickets from all of them? This is quite time-consuming and annoying, tbh. Is there anything could be done on NC's side to relieve your customers from this burden? Or something customers can do to simplify this? Best raid boss is one which can be killed by legitimate players. Unfortunately such bosses are mostly extinct, as most of raid bosses are being farmed in a fully automated way by people who NC fails to ban even after years of them doing so.

Thanks again for (at least temporarily - I guess it is just a matter of time when they will figure out the way to circumvent the security measures introduced) removing bots! This is really very good positive change, I hope this will enable new/returning (nostalgic) players returning to this game! Really good job NC! But on the other hand, I don't understand why you limit number of clients - when there was no GameGuard - botters were able to easily bypass it - it didn't stop them, only affected legitimate players and they needed to buy another PC, which adds to e-waste, additional carbon footprint due to the increased electricity consumption (and L2 consumes all CPU it can get, as we all know), while not solving any actual problem anymore (it never actually stopped botters). With nowadays exping reality and macro length of 12 (which is very low for WC buffs with runaways, one needs two warcryers in party to do 6 buffs each) and toughness of mobs one might need more than 9 characters to farm - that includes additional support party (separate from main party) with PP, SE for debuffs, Tyrant for debuffs, Warlord for debuffs, etc. So formula 9 (party) + 1 (trader - which is also questionable, as in ideal world one needs 1 buyer and 1 seller traders) does not work very well. It would be nice to see NC increasing limit to something more reasonable - 15 might be a good one and as a consequence commit to reducing e-waste and overall carbon footprint associated with Lineage 2. Yes, it might be insignificant compared to something else, but every little helps. Stopping climate change is a good deed, I think. Thanks in advance!

Hi @Juji, As I've previously reported - there is an issue - when Sealed Runes lvl 1 were removed from VIP coin shop without ANY warning in patch notes, so I've assumed they will stay there and I would be able to spend 220k+ (~$4000-$5000 worth of VIP) VIP coins to buy them. I also have several other VIP9/10 accounts which have total of probably $10k worth of additional VIP coins. I've been advised by support that those were removed _temporarily_ to address other issue with old runes exchange. Now that you've forcefully exchange old runes to new ones and exchange is not needed anymore, could you please provide and ETA on when you will return runes (well, Aden Soul Crystal lvl 1) to the VIP shop please? You've promised to look into that issue. If those won't be returned it really seems like big lack of respect to paying customers if not plain robbery. Thanks in advance!

No need, but game still allows to do this two ways. Through essence and through special craft. In essence case payment is +10 jewel + small adena fee, in special craft - just 100kk adena. That person made a mistake, I think it would be fair if they could give back the ring, but it is not a bug per se.

You probably need +10 Phoenix Ring in addition to Essence to exchange. There are three menu items: - Rare Upgrade (Paid and rare items) - Normal upgrade - Special Upgrade I don't remember precisely which one, but one of these works. Item you will be upgrading is Phoenix Ring +10, while Queen Essence + some adena is the payment for this upgrade, you are not upgrading essence. P.S. You could have saved yourself some hassle (but have paid 100kk) if you exchanged through special crafting (two hammers icon on the bottom right), but that's too late now.

Thanks for the update! What about bringing back Sealed Runes lvl 1 to VIP coin shop (or Aden Soul Crystals lvl 1 for that matter)? I have 220k+ of VIP coins I planned to use for this and now can't, this removal was not mentioned in Patch Notes. If it was, I would have bought them before the maintenance.

Essence is extreme P2W by design, this does not mean same should be applied to Classic.

I can confirm that, bosses do not drop them anymore. And TOI1 - 5 days 24/7 farm - only 3 dropped. Also, runes were removed from VIP shop without any kind of warning (no mention in Patch Notes), I have more than 200k VIP coins accumulated and can't buy them now, despite the fact I've paid real $$$ for this and was considering getting them during the transition time.
