  1. The limit was put in place a few years ago in an effort to troubleshoot the severe lag (yes even worse than it is now) issues the game was experiencing. A lot of people rerolled off eviscerators b/c of the hit lag, etc. It was only meant to be temporary measure, however, here we are around 4 years later with it still in place. The server has moved to AWS now, and are more or less stable. I don't even know that the team that was working at NCSoft when the limit was imposed is still there? As stated above, the limit only hurts legit players while 3rd party program users bypass the limit.
  2. @GM_EVA If memory serves, the 3 client limit was implemented for Live servers during a period of time where NCWest was trying to troubleshoot the severe lag issues that plaguing the servers. The change did not "fix" the issue and this was later resolved. Is there a reason why this client limit is still in effect? Can we remove the 3 client limitation?
  3. Do we need to petition to or re-apply the code if we did it while server was down briefly?
  4. Is it too much to ask for actual rates instead of an ambiguous "we're not really sure how the percentages/rates" work? Is this legal business practice?
  5. I really have to wonder why these times were allotted for Dethroned on Fri-Sunday. You've made it so players have to port back to the regular server 30 minutes after it starts for the Eigis raid boss. Almost 4 hours of Olympiad overlap, again, excludes those players. Players also have to port back to the normal server to participate in Narcissus's Shop. Not sure if any thought to the overlapping of these events went into deciding on these times? Why can't we just have the same times as before the patch?
  6. This has been going on for a few years now, but it's an "exploit" because Renovatio alliance finally made their own seers to do the same thing our opponents have been doing this whole time? We are simply using the SAME game mechanics that everyone has enjoyed for years. @Hermes While you're investigating, please investigate the players that seemingly follow these seers while in hide, and those players that are able to target and use skill shots on seers that are in hide. Also, those players that are able to remove CS before their opponents are able to finish casting the skill.
  7. There are complaints already about the paywall for this "free to play" game. Let's look at the Night Market Coin event shall we? For a 100% chance at making one of the new artifacts, you need 300 artifact fragments. 300 fragments x 55 night market coin (NMC) each= 16,500 NMC 16,500 NMC @ 720 NCoin per 200 NMC = 59,400 NCoin 8000 NCoin at $100 (let's ignore tax for now) = $ 742.50 $742.50 for one artifact. Does anyone else think this has gotten way out of hand?
  8. So after daylight savings, swords will be at 3:30 pm PST, during the work day. Where do we start a petition for an NA timezone server?
  9. I don't know how to explain it in more simpler terms. 2 or 3 hours earlier = work = no USA time players = no pvp
  10. There already exists a server for the european timezone. You're proposing to alienate North American players in a North American server b/c you're losing. You transferred TO an NA timezone server and want to change it.

  12. Disconnecting ONLY on the Olympiad toon and not on any other client or application. Doing nothing but standing in town not interacting with any NPC's. Losing 60+ points per disconnect before you port in is ridiculous. Fix your system and stop blaming your players for your poor infrastructure.
  13. Time for an overhaul of the class. All summons have been pretty useless for ages now. They're just waiting for the neglected classes to reroll so you spend more $$ on ncoin to catch up in level.
  14. I've had issues since yesterday with login and lag and disconnects. Pacific Northwest - Comcast. I have to start the NCLauncher anywhere from 1-30 times before it even lets me attempt to log in. I've restarted, checked files, flushed the dns, restarted the modem, disabled the firewall, etc. Still having disconnect issues on multiple PC's.
  15. Where were all these tears about timezones when your side had 4 to 5 parties at swords every night? Are you sleeping during this time and after when you PR/BSOE from wartags and pop skills in town? That's interesting.
  16. Oh yea let's make it so NA players are unable to participate in anything. It's like we need a separate server with EU timezone events or something that will cater to the EU players. Oh wait, we do! It's called Naia.
  17. Agreed. Showing "high" chance for both outcomes indicates a 50/50% chance. Tests by numerous individuals has proven that this is not the case. This is at best misleading your playerbase, and at worst, outright lying about the odds. The % rates are posted in other regions, why are they not posted here? Are the rates lowered for the NA servers? If so, what is the justification for this? If not, why not just translate the rates from the other regions? You're forcing these players to gamble without giving them a honest and clear picture of the possible outcomes. This applies to enchants, crafting, event rewards, etc. Where does it end? Quit cheating your customers and fix your descriptions. Post your rates.
  18. The olympiad list is too jumbled. I can understand the _naia and _chronos, but why include the GMT+1 and GMT-2. Too much information is unecessary clutter.

The 14 man clan mechanic was one of a couple things that were put into to place to protect against the big clan that goes around declaring wars on smaller clans and halting progression on a one sided server. The other was that clans did not have to accept war, however, the bigger clans have found ways around that by forcing players to kill others in a similar method as shown in the video regarding the PK bug. The only thing protecting the smaller clans right now from getting zerged out of existence is the 14 man clan rule and you guys want to remove that too. LOL Why are you so scared of these 14 man clans if yours is so much bigger? Truth is, this stops you from setting your toons on top of their hunting spots and KSing without fear of repercussions and wars starting. They can now defend themselves from this tactic. The 14 man clan doesn't prevent you from PVPing them, it prevents you from griefing and the new PK system makes you take a second thought before you go mass PKing like you were also want to do. As for sieges, if they have 14 man clans on siege grounds they're aoeing each other. If your clan is bigger you should have an advantage. Why are you scared of 14 people?
  20. With people disconnecting from unstable servers, how does it make sense to lose 63 points when you disconnect prior being ported into an Olympiad match? That's beyond ridiculous when servers are working correctly, not to mention when you can't fix your server stability issues. It's not any better when you disconnect mid-match either, or when you're mid port into the round. 20+ point losses due to unstable servers beyond a player's control is too high a penalty and needs to be changed.
