The old L2 was better in a way. Classes were more balanced and pvp was more competitive. Today, strength between some players and classes is absolutely absurd. When you get a top player that can wipe out a whole pt or clan with 1 or 2 aoes takes the fun away. The pay 2 win marketing strategy killed the game for many players. Only ppl with deep pockets can fully enjoy this new version of L2.

I was wondering the same thing. When farming.. any good dd should have perma mp. It could be useful for players that don't have enough damage so they don't regenerate mp fast enough. I only have a 5 slot brooch and I use red cats, ruby, opal, emerald and vital. I will use tanza instead of vital when I do Gludio, krofin instances or tougher areas. If I had a 6th slot I would use either diamond or pearl. In mass pvp you want to use amethyst, obsidian, cats eye, Tanza and ruby. If 6 slot brooch you may want to use red cats, if your damage is already high and most are 1 shot then use a jewel that will improve your defense. In my opinion topaz will be better in olympiad or 1 vs 1 than in mass pvp. But then again... what do I know I'm 1 shot anyways no matter what i try

I've had the same issue last weekend. I got d/c on saturday. When i relogged there was an update. After that update it took me 15 min to do IT instead of 10. And IOS my adena gain was 50 mil less than usual. I talked to other players and it seemed i was the only one with this issue. I sent a ticket and the GM's replied all was working normally. Yesterday after the launcher update everything went back to normal.

Degus is right. You can waste a long time to get a party together with the specific dd's you want. And still spend 50 min to do IT. All you need is 1 good dd. Most of the time when i go and make a party i always ask for exalted people to help them out. I know quite a few good dd's that do the same and we always get it done in under 15 min.

My advice would be to simply use the free boosts ( ice rose, glowing dragon and dark beer ) you get from the solo castilla instance. If you can't succeed doing the rim just don't participate in that event. Because the cost will by far outweigh the reward.

The added blow effect will grant you 2x the damage at a random rate. But it's only effective on regular attacks. And since all the damage output for yuls is based on skills it's not really worth crafting and using those arrows after you build up your character. But when you start playing and don't have your skill power up to par then it can help a little. Personally I use the unlimited quiver than can be bought at an npc store.

All self buffs on archers are stackable.

Your getting a lot of bad feedback here. You do need to spend some money to aquired good gear to be able to compete but no where near the figures people are stating on here. In 4 yrs I estimate I've spent around 7k and I have no problem competing in this game. If you invest in the proper gear that is suited for your character you'll do just fine. Adena is also quite easy to make in the game once you get to know how the economy works. Most of the really expensive items aren't available yet on these servers and only a handful of players have them. So with that said, you could have all the adena in the world but have nothing to spend it on.

Something has got to be done about the constant d/c. I can't stay connected for more than 2 hrs.
