Ah, that makes sense now. How married are you to that character? You can't create new characters now, but you can on Wednesday, 5/6. If you don't have much invested in that character, or have jewels, dyes or something that are expensive to move/transfer, you could just create a new character. Then do the Tarti quest to get the free armor and weapon, shots, rose and other 7 day Vitality saving scroll. It won't take long to go from 1-87 again. 25-35 minutes at most. Plus you will want to get the 1-20 buff from the Adventurer NPC that keeps you from getting PKed by higher levels. It lasts for 2 hours, so you can probably reach level 100 or 101 before it fades.

Check Auction House. Not worth buying in my opinion. All they do is eat. Also, before you buy make sure you're in level range of strider -- 10 levels iirc -- or you won't be able to control it and it will eat you. Ok, maybe not eat you. But it won't follow your commands.

What level were you when you came back to game? Did you complete any of the Tarti starter quests? That is where you get the free equipment, including Apoc Dual Daggers with built in SA. That's a separate question. My main question is how are you hunting? A dagger doesn't kill with p.atk. They kill with skills. So I need to figure out your hunting style to maybe help steer you right. The mobs in DEV (Altar and Swamp) are not hard to kill. They are perfect for your level. So something else is going wrong.

Oh, forgot to mention that price for Spirit Ore changes from town to town. Right now on Chronos it's cheaper in Giran than in Aden for example.

Grocery store in any town. Also note that the first set are all buffs. The second set of skills belong to clan, hero or mentor situations, so even with spirit ore and soulstones in your inventory you have to be in the right condition to use them. For example, you won't be able to summon a clan mate unless you have him/her in party first.

Check the skill descriptions. You probably need Spirit Ore or Soulstones. They sell them in Grocery store.

@Hime @Juji So now we know Anniversary event and side game was a bust. Can we at least get Red Libra now? At least that way I know I won't be disappointed.

So far I haven't taken advantage of new stuff in game. I level just fine. I also have not learned all of my skills that require rune stones. I level just fine. I probably won't get the greater rune stone any time soon either. I level just fine. Fact is, I just discovered this morning that I can hunt greens in some areas with just a rose, archer buffs and old archer skills (Pinpoint shot, Multiple Arrow, Quick Shot). My point is that there is always another way to build a character for most classes that lets players continue to level, even if it isn't as fast or with all of the dazzling, shiny skills. Yes, there should be a way to get rune stones more cheaply, but it's not the end of the world if we don't get them right away. Please fix the other high priority stuff that's wrong with the game. And for God's sake, either get rid of queue or stop people from being able to log more than 2 accounts.

Nonsense. You can play this game with an open heart, yet still protect yourself by not engaging in dumb activities that leave your ass in the wind. Scamming isn't only deeply hurtful, it is beyond the reach of justice and penalty. That's why they do it. GMs won't do anything. Devs won't create a bound-loaner program, or clawback feature so that you get your items back. NCSoft stop selling gift certificates for NCoin and even Amazon doesn't guarantee that if you gift someone Ncoin they'll pay you back. Like that other poster said, if someone agrees to trade something now for repayment later, you better be prepared to kiss it goodbye. Calling out scammers is nice, but that won't stop stupid from doing what stupid does. Want to build a wall with name of scammers and post at log in screen? Fine. Build it. But don't be surprise if what you erected to be their Badge of Shame turns into their Hall of Fame.

There are actually spots around the world map where you can hunt, but no one goes there because of the Exalted quest progression and because those mobs don't give much XP, or adena. Take some of the hunting areas near Orc village. You can't even port to the specific areas anymore. Some of the mobs are in the 99 - 103 range and they're just sitting there waiting for someone to play with them. There's usually not another player anywhere in sight for miles. While some of these mobs may be harder to kill than at BS, Beleth or Phantasmal, the fact remains that these are mobs that they could have added to the Exalted quest to make thing easier on everyone. Same goes for the mobs in Cemetery, Giants Cave, etc.

A long, long time ago I suggested that drops should automatically appear in the player's inventory. This was back when no one picked up anything and it only increased lag for some odd reason. Anyway, I was told that ranged characters needed to have some way to "slow them down", so having them pick up drops did that. Fast forward and least now we have adena going automatically to inventory. If they can do that, then they can have all of the other item drops go directly to inventory, too. It's silly that they didn't do that when they made the change for adena.

I love these threads. Mainly because we get to see the issues that people complained about months and years ago that still haven't been fixed.

Yeah it will probably be like archery resist mobs that stacked archers kill easily all of the time. The VR resist probably affect those with low gear more than others. Or maybe only mobs in certain places have it, which means melee types will xp in other places?

Shhhhhhh. Out there somewhere is a throng of people who think that nothing should/will happen -- not Red Libra, not new services, not special promotions, not updates, nothing -- until the lag has been fixed. We wouldn't want to ruin their chorus. Game has always pushed forward, glitches and all, whether servers were fixed or not, whether all content has been introduced into the game or not. Funny how that works. But shhhhhhh….don't tell them that. Keep up the reality debuff as long as you can. heh heh heh

This is part of the research but no one person can know everything and confusion is already out there.

Reading other thread where person was unsure of P. Crit Damage vs. Physical Skill Crit Damage. I agree, descriptions that appear on jewels is kind of confusing. Maybe a good idea to list here all jewels, talismans, gems, and equipment that give Physical Skill Crit Damage. Also, if someone lists something that really does not have it, maybe let us know that too. For example, some say Baium Soul Ring has Physical Skill Critical Damage because description reads, "P. Atk./M. Skill Critical Damage +15%." Some say the slash is as if to say everything after the period applies to both, i.e., "P. Atk. Skill Critical Damage." Others say no, the description means only "P.Atk Crit Damage." Which is right? Does anyone really know???? (SEE NCSOFT, THIS IS WHY THE CHARACTER STATUS WINDOW SHOULD HAVE SEPARATE BOXES THAT SHOW CRITICAL DAMAGE AND SKILL CRITICAL DAMAGE. TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO SPEAK DIFFERENT LANGUAGE PLAY THIS GAME FOR YOU TO BE SO AMBIGUOUS!!!)

+1 should be no teleport of any kind in siege zones. or if you do it, you have to port completely naked, cursed with 120 second unremovable root when you land, and unable to equip anything for 600 seconds.

Yes, please give Red Libra so I can change class and weapons to some else without losing level or try resell or swap weapon with other players. No one wants trade anything for fair price.
