The Olympiad survival kit for 1 adena should help. The grace system doesn’t really start becoming an issue until after lvl 60. Then most people will either pay for the 30 day sayas 200% or they’ll quit because there is zero point in hunting in this game without getting some adena back. I personally would quit a game I couldn’t level, couldn’t farm and had zero opportunity to be in raids because the penalty for being in a party with someone having 0 grace is too high. I really don’t know if this was an intentional means of extortion, or an oversight on PlayncW. Regardless the only people playing this game in 3 months if they don’t fix it will be the ones who spent so much $$ that they would literally get sick at the thought of being suckered by PlayNCW again. Proof in point Both servers were at normal activity 5 mins before Orc Raid. Hopefully in October we get a 30 day Halloween event or something.

The Olympiad guy goes over some rules would have been nice to have some clarification from players.

I looked around a bit and couldn’t find any info on this. The Olympiad survival box includes scrolls and hp pots so I’m assuming they’re allowing those. I only see 3v3 listed as an option are we placed in a random group if we don’t have one? Is it 3v3 or 1v1 with 3 players participating individually and wins are counted towards the 3v3 score? Thanks for your help

I’m more concerned about them allowing scrolls and special hp pots for use in Olympiad. I play a dagger class, the cool downs on some of my skills will make it pretty difficult to kill anyone popping 500 hp recovery pots a clip.

Yea, my best friend who has played all the way back to beta with me, every few days finally broke his bgrade bow at +9. When he did it he was all upset and I asked him when was the last time he checked the dmg of his Aden weapon and he was losing 40 patk using the bgrade wep. He was going to quit before he noticed this ( he does this sometimes, lol) Only problem is now he’s addicted to buying the Aden scrolls trying to get his Aden wep to glow red.

I’m wondering if this is just my character of if anyone else in experiencing this as well. I haven’t gotten as much as a accessory drop over the past 2 weeks. I’m on full grace, I’ve been primarily hunting in PoLM, Toi, and DV. Besides the 4 hours I do in Primeval every day and the trans daily’s I’m lvling. I started a new character last week and have the 30 day 200% green sayas pot and it has basically picked up a full Theca set, bgrade jewelry and boots, a samurai long sword, a cgrade staff. I’m not complaining , I’m just concerned I’ve missed something.

Depends on your level, when my toon was in 52-75 my +7 dagger did more dmg, At 76 my Aden dagger passed my bgrade in dmg. I’m hoping giran boxes eventually make it into the game because prices on a grade gear atm are ridiculous, and my +6 drake is better than most +4 bgrade so it doesn’t make sense waste adena on bgrade. The attendance event in my opinion was a complete success as far as this goes.

I think you’re misunderstanding the job title here. A GM doesn’t have that kind of ability they aren’t designers, developers, creators etc. The quest should have been in gludio or giran and maybe it is and I missed it and only noticed it in Aden. Regardless I’m glad I didn’t bother with it.

Something that disappears at lvl 76 even though it says it for higher lvls

Oh man, now I feel stupid for wasting my time killing the Sin eater as well. This new pet system is not an improvement over the old system. I mean to be honest leveling a pet has always been difficult now they make it harder to even obtain the pet, I still want one but I’m not buying one period.

I hate to break this to you but it’s been over 15 years in any of the L2 releases where the TOS, has made it perfectly clear that you don’t own one item on your character. The only thing you own is your account and you really don’t own that because if you sell your account it is a violation of the TOS as well. You are allowed to play the game at the discretion of the company and it can be revoked at their discretion. The reasoning behind not sharing Imprinted items on the same account is simple, it stops people from abusing the system where rerollng a character that maybe easier to lvl and sending the items to the other character that may not be OP at the moment but a patch may balance that class and make it better to main. I’ve mentioned this before, sometimes Companies spend too much time trying to discourage farmers, and rwm traders and the players suffer for these actions. I mean as a company NCSoft had its L3 source code stolen and scrapped it to build their own engine instead of continuing to use UT’s. This cost the company millions if not billions considering the popularity of the Lineage franchise throughout the world. Not to mention every player who was looking forward to a new ARC in the Lineage storyline. L3 to this date has never been released, in NA. As far as I know they have changed the name a few times, but have still not produced a beta product for NA. IMO and don’t shred me for it because I was there in beta, and physically played the game past C4 before I took a break, I have characters on Classic and Live still, compared to today’s p2w NCoin, Lcoin, imprinted items, grace system, vitality system, absolute destruction of the dwarf crafter, the game was actually better and cheaper to play when there rwm farmers. I know they were a pain in the butt and were bullies at times but if you had to find one last piece of armor, or a boss ring you could get that for a reasonable cost of a few dollars not the hundreds of dollars some people will pay just so they can be “hero” or relevant. The company basically ruined the ingame economy with all of its attempts to rid its servers of farmers and 3rd party software users. I don’t know what the solution is, I don’t know how to fix it or if it can be fixed. I’m not a millionaire and there is a zero % chance I would spend thousands of dollars a month on store items for any video game all I know for certain is my character and items haven’t belonged to me for a long time and yet I must be exactly the type of player NCSOFT wants because I’m still here playing a game 18 yrs old that hasn’t made any significant content creation or story lines in at least 12 years.

It doesn’t seem to be affecting their players from BB last I checked they placed 1,2,3

All I know is I started me character on launch day and since that day my attendance reset after 28 days and I have claimed 5 more days worth of goodies and will claim my 6th before I go to bed. Like I stated earlier Blackbird didn’t have a week’s worth of downtime and they were nice enough to extend it a week. Let’s be honest, most of you are crying because you’re alts won’t get a full 28 days or you rerolled too late and you’re upset over not getting everything. My main is a dagger and is arguably the most gimped solo class on the server yet I logged in every day and am sticking with it because it’s all I’ve ever played for a main. This whining session you all are having is starting to look pathetic, if you’re so unhappy play something else I would be happy to be able to farm my alts in the 65-76 areas without all the non manner mode users ksing m mobs.

You got an extra week, even with all of Blackbirds issues it doesn’t equate to 7 days worth of downtime.

I’m not aware of it notifying the person if you block them, it never used to. I was just making a joke because I’m sure the GM’s have access to heavily reported players.

They have to let the adena seller know he’s been blocked by a certain % of the server so he can make a new account.

I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but when the Golden Pig Appears in Primeval auto pickup doesn’t work while your smacking the Pig leading to 1 person hitting the pig and everyone who follows picking up the gold dropped.

I’m sure guys have a lot of great stuff planned after the attendance event ends, it was more than fair to extend it a week.

Since Elcadia, has been at normal traffic the issues of server lag shouldn’t be a problem, the areas need the respawn rates increased please. There are too many players and not enough mobs. Another suggestion would be to open up some other areas or specialized areas for melee, and ranged players, I know Cruma and Toi, are better for melee, but those are higher lvl areas and the lower levels of both are packed as well and it’s not ideal for farming until you can upgrade some gear. I would love for either the GM’s or game developers to go to any of these areas right now and see how congested these areas are. Thanks for reading.

Aden magic shop should have your 76 skills there(they are expensive). The master books should be in specialty craft under spellbooks which are also almost impossible to craft based on the amount of materials needed ie 4 Aden subjugation crystals, I’ve only received 1 so far and I turn in the quest daily.
