Elcadia has dropped from heavy to normal over the past few days, I’m predicting light in it’s future. At least I won’t have to share my lvling area for too much longer

I say go back to the old system you go purple you can be killed by someone and they don’t go red. You go red and the only safe place for you is your castle or clan house. If you’re red you don’t get to port to town & if you do the guards attack you, you don’t get to interact with npc’s and you most certainly drop an item which can be picked up by whomever killed you. If they want to keep the buyback option fine let them be able to buy it back but it is now an imprint and not a sellable item. If you have repeat offenders they should be perma red like my friends spellhowler which even after they changed the policy his karma never went down. It seems to me the only people the karma system serves in this edition of L2 is people who farm for rwm and whales. I remember making bank off botters when we could make them flag and drop gear.

Fastest lvling was Orc Titan however, if you haven’t started a character yet getting through 60-70 will be a challenge because of how crowded the farming areas are and the complete lack of most the ranged players playing with manner mode on. Healers are very good at lvling and get light armor stats which makes them capable of sustaining hp (considering you can’t heal yourself and farm at the same time) If you’re looking to pvp I would say Titan or Tyrant is a good choice because they are very OP atm, an example of this would be: I was running through Cruma 2 with my clan a GK had a whole room of mobs on him one of the guys tried to pk him the GK 2 shotted 4 people before getting to me and if I wouldn’t have popped my Ultimate Evasion and ran I would have been #5.

I understand your frustration, the first time my dwarf she dropped her Aden talisman. I died to mobs not another player. I had to spend a million adena to buy it back. Then I remembered dying in Dragon Valley in Prelude or C1 (I wasn’t flagged), I had just turned 40 and dropped my plaited leather pants which were craft only, I was lucky enough to run back and get them before someone else got there. Unfortunately I de-leveled and had an armor penalty for 4% which at the time was almost 12hrs of xping without the penalty and because the game was so expensive to play I had sold all me d-grade gear just to be able to afford to craft the cgrade. I wasn’t happy about dropping an item either time, but I’ll tell you I was a lot happier I could buy back my Aden talisman and have 2 no xp penalty deaths than I was having to run from Giran to DV praying my pants were still there and having to gain back 4% with an item penalty for close to a 24 hour time frame.

I know this could be a touchy subject with some people, but today is the 20th anniversary of the attack on the United States. Internet gaming was in it’s infancy, I think I may have just got access to broadband (b4 that we used dial-up). I was playing a game called Rogue Spear and a Half-Life mod called Counter-Strike. My clan consisted of people all of the US. 12 of which resided in the NYC area. I had 2 jobs at the time, 3rd shift and 1st shift. I lived in a quiet little town in Wisconsin. After leaving my 3rd shift job, I had time to go home for a 2 hour nap. My wife started calling me nonstop and after the 3rd of fourth attempt I answered and she told me to “turn on the news.” There was footage of the WTC building burning with a hole in the side of it. They thought at the time a small aircraft had accidentally hit the tower. As I watched the 2nd plane hit tower two and I saw it was a jet. The moment it hit, I told my wife “the first plane wasn’t an accident, we’re under attack.” I immediately started to feel concern for my Clan mates, and family I had in NYC. I immediately called work to see what to do and was told to come in. I was doing network set up and support and was a little upset they expected me to come in while this was still happening. Back then we used MS Instant Messenger outside of our voice comms to stay in contact with our clan members, I still hadn’t heard from any of them by 2pm CST. While at work another plane hit the Pentagon and I had 2 more friends who worked in the building. I received 1 call my whole shift and sadly it was from a company based in Tower One. They needed all new networking equipment and laptops and as I talked with the Lady we both comforted one another and there were tears. My heart ached, and I felt absolutely powerless. xTk Stryker, and xTk Stryder we lost you today 20 years ago, but you will never be forgotten. To all of you who had lost someone, my thoughts and prayers are with you today. We will never forget.

Contact support they will tell you the file you need to send them I haven’t had to check this in a longtime it used to be an .ini file cut I don’t know if it’s changed

If you’re talking about your buttons not appearing this happens to me every day, I have to reset my window position and then drag everything back to where I like it.

Maybe suggesting your set up would have been more helpful to thread than stating something as smug as “ well mine works”

I’m lvl 79 every day the old dgrade and cgrade crap with spirit ore and hp pots always filling two slots paying 10k to refresh just to get 3 different dgrade cgrade items and hp pots and spirit ore? This has to be a bug because there isn’t a programmer alive that would be this pathetic at their job. It’s a simple algorithm to check a person’s level and might I even suggest their class to randomly provide items of use to a player. Christ, it’s an 80% failure rate anyway why even have something this inadequate in the game? I know the GM’s will probably move this, because it’s probably another design flaw (made purposely).

Makes it seem seem the more they try to discourage rwm players the more it hurts the actual people physically willing to play their characters 4-6 hrs a day doing dailys and raids. Here’s an idea, NCSOFT… Farmers are smarter than you, they will always be smarter than you, quit ruining the game experience because you’re losing 2 or 3% of your profit from sales you can’t control.

I haven’t ought the regen yet but I’ve notice when I have atk on and one spell my mp stays full but my battle cry never stays on every time I go look at my skills it’s off and I have full mp this a bug?

Let’s do the math here a bit. Say you have 25 whales spending 1k a month to stay at the top, and 250 spending 500 a month and 1000 spending 100 a month (these are conservative numbers by the way) so that’s 25k + 125k +100k let’s toss in 3000 players buying the 42.00 pack at launch and spending 8 dollars to round the number up that = 150k. So 400k a month, per NA release so 800k a month I’d say whoever licensed this release is swimming in $$. Why are we playing this game again?

Seriously I see freaking dwarf everywhere they suck at everything in the game accept crafting someone take 2 mins and answer the flipping question. I’ve looked through Korean forums and essence forums I can’t find any mention of what they can craft if there are recipes or any information accept their skill trees and stats

At lvl 79 my Aden weapon at +12 has 40+ more damage than my +9 bgrade dagger. The cgrade weapons we got at week 2 I just now traded in and got a +4 and +6 neither compare to the Aden weapon so in the wh they go

I’ve noticed the lack of item drops as well over the past week. I farm full grace and haven’t had as much as a boot drop. Not that it really matters because I need A grade drops and am hunting in bgrade areas. The money from them would help on my 40k hp pots and 1500 spirit ore I have to consume daily to hunt mobs 5 levels lower than I am.

Where do we get recipes or don’t we? What types of stuff can be crafted besides the crappy random craft/specific craft options the game has now. I have a crapload of c,d,b crystals what can I use them for? Thanks for your help

I have the doll I’m not impressed, I would rather have the eva’s talisman I broke going plus 1 twice. Don’t worry it’s Plaync you’ll be able to buy it for a hundred bux next month

Include clan leaders in this analogy, because some of them have zero experience doing Raids other than the Bandit Stronghold so that leaves people like me wondering how is this supposed to get me ahead in the game. Starting wars because they happen to have lucked out and picked a good “pk” toon and have the gear from the raids and clan payment while telling their members to p2w. P2W only basically allows you to farm better and if you can’t farm you can’t move your character forward to be any use in pvp or wars or any other parts of the game. Until the rework is done on the NA server’s the dominant assassin class is nothing more than another body to throw at the “zergs” and I for one love the pvp part of the game, but just as in Chronicles 1-4 my le dagger gets griefed by a passing healer and I have to go wait for them to afk farm for any repercussions for pking me. This whole Idea of crafting higher lvl skills is a poop show. On top of that you have daggers advanced skills all providing bonuses for hitting someone in the back yet the skills required to get to someone’s back have a 30 second cool down in Aden. Most fights are over in seconds and the more someone buys the 500 hp pots the less likely this fight ends at all. Meanwhile I have been pkd in the game for no other reason than a Titan wants a whole room in Cruma for itself. They fear no penalty of dropping their gear because they can just buy it back instead of it being forfeited to the people who kill the reds. I want to enjoy alll aspects f the game pvp included, but I can’t stop lvling and accumulating assets because I’m not rerolling and dumping 1k rwm so I play what’s powerful now. Make raid area’s available to single players like Primeval, or other areas where actual items that are needed drop or have a chance at dropping. And fix the random crafting to items that actually can be used by the class of the player making them. Seriously, what am I supposed to do with an a grade robe I can’t sell or crystallize when I’m a dd?

Lol, you guys are all under the impression that it would even matter what time it’s at. Heroes don’t become heroes because they are good at the game they become heroes based upon how many wins their “Zerg” feeds them it’s been this way for years. Hell, I was stupid enough not to notice the time discrepancy when I started my character on Elcadia and if you think Oly time is bad most clans raid at 2pm-3pm EST. “Oh no sir, I’m not playing a game while I’m supposed to be working… that’s my screensaver I swear!”

Let’s call Aden release what it really is. You can not play this game for free. I have played Every version of this game all the way back to Beta and this is by far this biggest money grab out of all of them. With the end of the free 20 buff scrolls and the whole grace system there isn’t a class in this game that can hunt mobs the same level as they are without using ss/bsps. SS in Classic and Live were for lvlng faster but were not a requirement to hunt white mobs, in Aden as a dagger I wouldn’t even be able to hunt mobs 20 lvls lower without ss. Not to mention that I have 2 quests I can’t even do because although the mobs are 2 levels lower than I am, even with atk/def scrolls, ss, selfbuffs, clan buffs, healing potions etc. Oh, but Infidel you don’t have good enough gear that’s why. No it’s not, I have a +9 bgrade dagger and +6 bgrade armor my accessories are all epic, all my jewels +3, agathon’s +6, talismans +4, I could go on. I went to DV to start the new quest and had to bsoe out after the 3rd mob these are mobs that are white!!! My dex atm is 38 con 43 and str 37 there is absolutely no reason I shouldn’t be ripping this place a part yet somehow I get hit like I’m some big fat meat pie of an orc and not the super stealthy, faster than lightning, amazingly gorgeous, le that I am. Moreover, you said Aden was supposed to be a solo game yet If I don’t join a clan and do raids daily I’ll have to spend over 500 bux a month just to buy magic tablets, materials, armor, weapons all so I can’t hunt white mobs and have a chance at getting a drop that is something I can actually use. Oh and explain to me why I have to pay 300k for a freaking 20% chance at crafting a freaking nightmare robe I can’t even sell or crystallize? We’ve waited and waited for the release of L3 for over 8 years and you give us the same old crap over and over and we’ve taken it year after year hoping, might I say praying that NCSOFT will get it right. You want a blueprint on how to make a F2P game look at Tera, and other games like it that is a F2P game this is an absolute joke and in 6 months when the only people playing this game are whales and farmers who break your precious TOS you will only have yourselves to blame. I would gladly go back to paying 14 bux a month if it would mean you actually developed and produced a new product instead of regurgitating the same old crap year in and year out. I mean do you guys even have a creative department or are you just employing in game commerce people ?? Both events so far actually cost more money to participate in than any rewards given. Is this a product you’re proud of? I mean seriously, when you tell people you develop this game do you have to lower your head in shame?
