Looking for laptop recommendations

I'm in the process of searching for a replacement for my 5.5 year old Samsung laptop that is running Windows 7 and is outdated. Plus, come January 2020 Microsoft will no longer provide updates and support. I've been checking Amazon and BestBuy but the reviews are so conflicting so I'm looking for some honest opinions. Below are the specs as to what I'm looking for. Price point is no more than $1200 usd.

I just bought one of these and couldn't be happier. The only recommendation that I have for this laptop if you are using for other games alongside lineage or playing lineage on higher than low graphics settings is getting another 8gb of ram off amazon or eBay for an additional $50. All that and you're still under 1000 USD.

Dude just dont go for 1050ti i had laptop i5 7300hq and 1050ti its so weak for laptop go for 1060 and higher as cpu you must go for newest generation because the fps

drop is huge on 1050ti i dont recommend it. now i have pc desktop with i5 9600k and rx 580 8gb and have huge difference dont forget FPS is everyting !
