Server Maintenance: Wednesday, April 4, 2018

All game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 5am PDT / 7am CDT / 8am EDT / 1200 GMT and ending at approximately 8am PDT / 10am CDT / 11am EDT / 1500 GMT. Estimated downtime is 3 hours.

With this maintenance:

• The Heine Fishing Expedition will return and run until April 25.
  • Four bundles will be added to the L2 Store.
  • New feature: NPC Peeves in Heine will exchange Embryo Bait Coupons for Master Fisherman's Blessing buffs.
    • Master Fisherman's Blessing increases fishing EXP by 100% and can be combined with the effects of the Fancy Fishing Rod for a 150% total bonus.
• The following changes and bug fixes will be applied:
  • Fixed an issue where some bosses did not display properly on the Raid Boss map.
  • Improved memory performance when alt-tabbing and running multiple clients.
• Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.

Other updates and reminders:

• The Oriana's Lucky Draw event will continue until April 11, 2018, at which time event items will be deleted.

Euro servers recently added the Armor Upgrades. (including the info about it on their wiki website) Being that we are now the only servers that doesn't have it (that i know of), and considering that the content is not game breaking (plus, it serves as a items sink for some stuff that ours servers are too crowed of, like gems/EoD/Dark Stones/etc...) is there any plans to add this content here? Burn, please speak in your name...or in the name of the server you play if players agree. Mby you have to much dark stones,gems eod, etc...In Freya I think 99% of ppl lack this items...and I also think situation is not diferent in the other servers. Have too many>>>sell them.

Beside that....Why would do NcSoft such a thing? What they gain from that?

Well, per parts:

1. Price of items - Some of this items, like Crystals R, GE and EoD are being sold for incredible low prices. (Some of them at npc price, that says there's a big problem with the supply/demand of the items) The case of Dark Stones i remember having them sold for 1b each, now you can buy them way below half of that value. For me, that is a good indication of surplus of the item in question. Speaking the Freya case, although the Dark Stones are being sold at 400/450m (Some may argue that's a low price, but i admit thats subjective) the rest of the items are being sold sore stupid low prices. Crystals are being sold at npc price, GE are being sold way bellow the buy price on CH and EoD are not being sold at all because no one wants them.

 

2. Why NCSoft should care/do such thing - Well, creating demand for this items will increase the interest on some prizes of most of this NCSoft pay events. Thus increasing revenues from this events.

So the way you're putting it is that the items should have a higher price? Most of the smaller, more casual players 100lv and lower have no access to dark stones and etc., same goes for things like Crystals R, Gem R, these items are essential to progress and gain better gear, so when the 5%-10% of the servers population is super geared and the rest isn't having prices of necessary items go up would demotivate the casual players and make it even harder than it is already.

All of you people always complain about how Pay 2 Win this game is, but this is exactly what you're doing with suggestions like this - You're making the average player have harder time progressing just because you've got tons of these items from farming late game all the time. You are completely missing the point.

I can already tell that your arguments would be that : People can easily get these items from daily quests etc., the amounts needed for such things as crafting are way higher than what you gain, and complete price increase wouldn't help the case either.

Well, round 25-30 bil only for Dark stones and another 6 bil ish for the rest of materials.....so its safe to say that round 35 bil cost only materials to make a dark set. Add more..... set bless +8 and element on it and you go easy up to 60-70 bil atm. If they implement the sistem prices will be like 150 bil for a dark set +8 while when you transfer from server adena limit is 7 bil.

Do you really consider those prices realistic and afordable  for lets say not all players but 40-50% of them?

Portuguese friend why u want pve/pvp set in 1 when u play in dead server with no competition, when ur clan in freya only does 100% PvE and 0% PvP and RMT when and ur clan lose hard in Dimensional siege? lol better change ur dark set for  bloody and YOU ARE DONE!

I want merdge too but checking online members in freya & naia and checking population of some koreans servers those freya/naia servers are more healthy than some korean servers, sad but l2 is losing players everyday, I don't expect merdge soon...maybe in a year even more..

Those are only numbers from event which push You to have 3clients open to have bigger chance to win something... There is no Pvp, market dead on both servers, there wont be better time for that... Before all transfer out to chronos...

all this happens cose a lot of players quit the game, and also the price of dark  sets decrease a lot, sometimes even close to half price, and in general, all items. too many events, and ppl spent all adena. too many overpowered items, added every month. game is over, for most of us.

Brother, what demand, what revenue, what are you talking about ... 2 out of 3 servers are as dead as F***... 

NO PLAYERS, No NEW PEOPLE to GEAR !! Items prices DROP and will plunge even further, no1 wants to pay 10k+++++ dollars to pvp, true meaning of the word - Insanity ... 

Do you know what will happen if prices go higher ??? More people will quit this madness and then, there will be no1 to sell to, you will have to sell NPC's only! 

If prices in the L2Store stay the same, our servers are as good as dead, if prices lower by 50-75% ( which is unlikely ) mid to high tier pvp will grow and servers future is brighter..

I want say just one more thing, posibility of improving r99 armors and weapons was introduced in Tauti Chronicle -2012. Do you realize from 2012 till now passed 6 years...6 years of farming servers and events  and yet not even 15-20% of 99+ players have improved armors......sad, so sad...And you guys want improved improved armors....like Argus said, more ppl will left the game...more op items you will find in NcStore for higher prices( coz if base population is going down>>>ncstore prices will go up to keep a steady income....simple economic lesson).

 

Pls Dont give me that BS "not everybody should have bloody or dark armor" coz in a game after 6 y after they introduce an item everybody should be able to have it.

IMO alot of people still need R Gems and Dark stones.

The thing about prices going lower its because there is alot less ppl playing on servers. The poor people to be able to buy the items, prices need to go lower or no one buys them.

That's what u get for having such RMT on all servers. Maybe someday GMs open their eyes and start ban all this idiots. Its never to late.

prices of dark stones in naia 600kk each thats crazy hight for pure pve server, cost of making a blessed set dark 40-45b when +8 dark sets sell for this Price, if anything nc should put those ítems in store making their Price at least 1/3 of what they are atm. No point leting ppl that farm Pricefix those ítems...

That's what i've tried to say. Chronos 400. To whoever wants to buy them in bulk aka 40+ price is 700kk each. Imho they will go for the improved r99 armors selling all in the l2store.

There aren't so many dark stones for everyone in the 3 servers + you are all forgetting the ears you will need.

Conguero, you may want to notify Symantec that Heur.AdvML.C in nsplash.dll and l2cefsubprocess.exe is not a threat. Their antivirus blocks the loading of the game after the little white window appears and before the splashscreen gets loaded.

You are right, Yidao.  Pain in the butt. But Norton does give you the options to restore the file and not block/quarantine it in the future.  That should get us by for now.
