JennyKrull
Math people, is the Fisherman's Blessing worth the 35 baits. It seems to me you lose the first 15 minutes or so just making up for the 35 baits to buy it. With the amount of buffs needed for one higher level not sure how much of a benefit its is. I think it sounds better than it is. Is it a hidden way to make you buy more baits. What do you all think and why. Thanks in advance.
Oeste
At level 100 the Xp from one catch is 1.8b using fancy rod only; considering that fishing has an 80/20 success/fail ratio, the 35 baits would become approximately 28 catches or 50.4b. Given that the average XP (one hour) w/o the buff is = 206.9b and with the buff is: 344.9b, the net difference in XP is 344.9b - 206.9b - 50.4b = 87.6b. All of this means that u end up getting 42.3% More experience than if you just used the 35 baits to catch fish. So if you ask me it is well worth it, not only because u get more XP overall at a very reasonable rate, but also because you use less time to get to the XP target you set. I did not do the rest of the levels but I'm pretty sure the results will be similar.
Draecke
the higher the level aka xp boost per catch yeah then it's worth it but note don't think fishing past 105 is a good plan now as that went from $7+K USD to $4+K USD so still way to expensive lol.. Oeste
I agree with @Draecke as well, from my point of view fishing could be a good alternative from lvl 85 to 102 max, (maybe 103 if you want to push the line a little), but not beyond that as it gets too time consuming and too expensive. Like I said elsewhere if you have the money to invest in game, at level 103 is best to invest in top end gear than in fishing.

Anyway proves me how to continue with this. Averages tend to appear once larger samples are used, if you use a single small sample the average may be different from the real average resulting from larger samples. I've fished 30k baits in the past and the average has always been 80/20; This event I have fished 6k Bait and the average is 80/20. Here's another fact for you, in average, for every 10 regular chest you open you get 1 higher grade chest, this is a fact also. Both of these facts have been confirmed by both NC (check at the estimate XP charts) and multiple other players. No point in beating a dead horse here, so no more replies in this thread. Regards. JennyKrull
Oeste, I have found the same numbers to be true. With the chest it almost seems to be hardwired 1 out of 10.

The amount of baits you save with Fancy Rod + Buff it's worth the spend of 35 coupons + adena in the buff
AiZeN
Here's my 2cent as much as fishing looks nice getting good exp without having to do anything it is basically not fast enough and at the same time way more expensive I wouldn't even suggest fishing specially if you have a CP that has a good PvE setup that can withstand the grind in top tier exp spots throw in a 7 day 200% rune and other stuff like exp rose etc and it will still be way cheaper and faster than what you can get out from fishing for 7 days
