Same problem here.

1 of 3 accounts DC even as active window.

Idk if its something about Iss... but, Always my iss is the first DC...

I tested login my iss alone in my notebook and sometimes I got DC too.

All these problems came after the last maintenance.

Giran was lagging so badly for me that I actually made a post about it on the classic forum under the weakly update topic. I was pinging other servers across the USA and the results were all excellent without a single packet loss. It's clearly not my connection. I live about a 5 hour drive south of Dallas... Within four hours all my Talking island accounts disconnected too.. I'm just going to give up playing unless this can be fixed.

Only happend here... I already open a Ticket but they always say the same thing: ISP PROBLEM. But it's not!

Hello All,

We are not seeing any mass disconnections from our servers. The delay in gameplay is related to server performance with the Halloween event, which will end tomorrow. Server disconnections are monitored 24/7 and when we do observe a mass disconnection outside of a server outage, it is normally related to an issue with a local ISP. Please contact your ISP if you are experiencing frequent disconnections.

I warned you about 4 weeks ago! But the support and some players think is a 'ISP' problem... Well. How about now?

Will you open your eyes and notice that the problem is NOT THE PLAYERS, but THE SERVER?

There has been an update and I get less disconnects, however, they are not gone.

I finally have proof the disconnects are on server side:

After checking with isp, the router etc, wasting my time and the time of others I realised: If I am farming and either my isp has an issue, or i unplug my router, or i unplug or hard reset my pc.. etc issues on my end, when I log back in my char is dead as it still remains online on the server side for a while and mobs keep hitting it and it dies as it does not hit back.

With these disconnects, when i log back in my char is alive and with close to or full hp and that means mobs did not hit it after disconnect so disconnect is on the server end. This is especially visible with a tank char.

It is a simple thing that proves yor servers are a joke.

Thank you

@Juji So why am I paying for packs with xp runes? To have the rune run out as my char is offline and pcs are consuming electricity for nothing?

I have already cancelled any prestige packs as what they offer is not worth 15€, it is not worth 1€...

Same issue here, also Chicago. So I've done everything requested from the support team and basically got a BS answer like always to contact the ISP. The game was running perfect for a few years but after these last updates it keeps disconnecting and I'm giving up on it until I the issue is resolved. Who is curious the support answer here:

Hello,

Thank you very much for the information as this does appear to show the issue you are having.

According to this report, your connection is suffering from packet loss. If you are not familiar with this term, it simply means the loss of data while in transit from point A (your computer) to point B (our servers). Packet loss can be caused by any of the following reasons: (1) The information received from your computer can either be corrupted or insufficient. (2) The information wasn't sent at all.

So how does this affect you?

In-game: The game fails in trying to adjust your position and resend the data multiple times to your last known location because too much data was lost in the transmission. Now, since Lineage 2 is a client/server setup, the game is always considered right (this is a security measure for anti-cheating/hacking). Thus, the game is forced to adjust your location to where the server last thought you were. This causes your character or NPC's to ""snap back"" or ""rubberband"" between the two sets (one set from your client, another from the server) of information. Since both sets are ""fighting"" between who is right, your character or NPC characters will appear to teleport back and forth while this ""fight for control"" happens. Since not enough data is received during this fight,
the game will likely disconnect you because it thinks you are already offline.

Installing and/or updating: In terms of installing and/or updating, a corrupted data might prevent you from obtaining the patch files intact. Thus, the download would either keep retrying multiple times to get the non-corrupted data or error out and stop.

Because the loss of data is happening prior to it reaching our game servers, you will need to contact your Internet Service Provider for assistance. I would highly recommend sending them these results so they can visually see the issue you are suffering from.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any additional issues, questions or concerns.

Regards,

Edanne

So hundrets of ISPs arround the world have issues but ncwest is perfect. All other games work but no, ISPs are to blame.. so it is their lol antibot (that clearly is useless anyway) that is disconnecting legit players.

Pathetic!

Btw, no disconnects on european l2 since created a char 3 days ago.. just saying

ISP problem would not explain 2 of 3 clients on the same box and same internet isp connection disconnecting.
