all server complain abut this HUGEEEEE  lag  and no one from L2 TEAM  APOLOGIES OR TRY TO FIX IT !!!!!!

@Juji can u guys plz do something with this permanent delay, its realy unplayable.  how can it be this has still not been taken care of?? 

we have the most expensive prices of all Lineage out there, and if that isnt enough, we have the most lag also, comon guys stop ignore it. In EU, servers are running smooth, and we have more or less perma lag for months now, no words realy ....

ppl in EU are running the same game good damn game,............... 

 

realy sry for flame post, but something has to happen fast guys ......

Suggestion to gms: because there is XP event, top clans and a lot of ppl run 3rd party software to get around 3 client cap. Ban em and lag will be reduced. Already reported one of them. If ppl would report with evidence, the server would be cleaned and lag would be reduced.

No need to increase server performance, just clean server from cheating ppl.

And the best respond of the Year is : "We understand the frustration" hahaha.... all the time they say that, and I really don't think so.

I would be good to know how many person are in each of the team. "dev,forums,qa....". You guys only appears in Wed for the update and gone for the rest of the week. 

I hope that would be a compensation for the item, exp and adena lose for this lag like another kind of game, that even for the mantain they give you a little compensation. 

please think more in the people, and if this is only a bussines......guys this is the worst marketing ever!

I admire your patience @HltEye that u actually did whatever they asked u ! When we get automated answers more than once i think we can all understand the level of help they can provide and how much they actually care about the costumers...cause it might be a free to download game but for sure aint a free to play one :P

Cool, I know this strategy. When they dont know why it is happening, they blame the other side. 

They should run test characters 24/7 and do some testing. 

Every city have bot adena sellers for $$ - create your own bots to auto ban chars who pm same message and same mails

Full server of cheats who exploit boxing more than 3 clients- do more checking how ppl farm and how they lag.

the issue lies with the actual game server and not the ISP connection, everyone has the same problem and I see the same behavior on my pc that's connected normally as well on the gaming pc that uses direct vpn tunnel to the game server so yeah absolutely not ISP related

@Juji fix your game man, just not ok that players can kill 2 groups of mobs on stronghold timed zone and then has to wait for the dead mobs to fade before they finally respawn.. people actually spend NCoins for those passes and then I'm not even talking about those that uses boost items that are very expensive as well..

this must be one of the few games were players actually pay more for worse services!!

pardon my harsh words but the server situation is beyond acceptable and even with a so called 50% XP boost ppl actually make less XP atm cause of that.

Well said, It's very obvious that this isn't caused by any routing issues.

I think the people that blame the issue on ISP/routing are either not playing melee dds (affected mostly), or they only macro 24/7 and never notice the hit lag. 

When you actually play a dagger, tyrr, or evis it is terrible. The hit rate varies between 0.1-0.9x the normal rate. At times it is totally unplayable.

The dev team is working on a fix now to help optimize the servers to reduce the latency. It is not related to the Christmas Trees for those who are asking about removing them. We will have an update on this issue after the maintenance tomorrow.

We upgraded the servers a few months back, but it did not resolve the issue. Another upgrade is being discussed now, while we are trying to optimize the hunting zones.

optimize what? add more data storage, ssd or hdd, i dont know what storage you guys use, add more, for speed it up reading and writing, its not about cpu use causing this.

Is there any info about hardware of servers ?  i really recomend use intel SSD with 3D-Xpoint memory cells, they have incredible perfomance with 4k operations, its very good speedup for database load.  I hope there is no problem with CPU power, if yes, then new EPYC  CPU from AMD with 64 cores, new servers has 2 sockets (128 cores) and up to  4TB of RAM...
