Cadbury Posted February 12, 2020 Share Posted February 12, 2020 Please bring back punishment for exploits, programs, extreme foul language (extreme, not little stuff), and threats to people in real life. I personally don't want to see anyone permanently banned and I don't think the current game could handle a mass permanent ban like those of the past. I do however think those of us left still playing after all these years are to addicted and would not quit over a 3/7 day ban, but would would defiantly stop messing around and breaking the rules, 3/7 days out of game is a big set back especially in a big clan. I realize this will indirectly affect me personally as some of my clan mates and friends would get hit. The rule breaking is happening in most clans in some shape or form. I am sick of it, my friends are breaking the rules, my enemies are breaking the rules, heck random low levels are breaking the rules and its all in mass because there are no consequences. And the only thing that happens once in a while is a warning that threatens stronger action, followed by not a stronger action, but you guessed it- another warning. Empty warning threats that people are sure nothing more with come of it, except maybe another warning. L2Junkie Posted February 12, 2020 Share Posted February 12, 2020 (edited) I would have to agree! and also add that a well placed early Friday ban would punish the ones who abuse the most as it would keep them from Olympiad and Siege. a couple top players with 3 day bans that encompass the weekend would lead to more people becoming legit of course the the 3 day bans would keep having to happen from time to time to keep people scared straight.... or then this is all for nothing. People would notice if a top player is vanished for 3 days especially if they high roll in Oly and Siege and then we would know you are listening and watching. this would give me glimmer of hope that someone cares if people cheat or exploit. Cadbury Posted February 13, 2020 Author Share Posted February 13, 2020 oh yes! if someone is found breaking the rules, definitely give them that temp ban on a Friday before olympiad begins, some of the top offenders 100% need to play every weekend to win their hero. cheat? loose hero. good by me. and what is all the gear worth if you can access your toon to enjoy it on the weekend for oympiad and siege. i bet we would see some people turn into choir boys real quick. I agree with this, but you need active GMs to review and apply the bans.
