Game servers will be down for maintenance beginning Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 4 a.m. PDT / 6 a.m. CDT / 7 a.m. EDT / 1 p.m. GMT+2 and will be unavailable for approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes.

With this maintenance:

  • Standard database maintenance and application restarts will be performed.
  • The Rim Kamaloka event buff items below will be removed from player's inventories during September 9 maintenance:
    • PC Cafe Emperor's Special Cocktail           
    • PC Cafe Ice Rose              
    • PC Cafe Shining Dragon Attribute Tonic-XP
  • The Letter Collector event will be available for 1 final week.
  • The Mystery Box in the L2 Store has been extended and will be available until September 23.
    • The Mystery Box deletion date has been extended to October 21.
  • Red Libra September Event will continue for 3 weeks.

Other Notes

  • These Letter Collector event items will be removed from players' inventories during the next maintenance (September 16):

    • Letter Collector’s Pouch: TALES
    • Letter Collector’s Pouch: ALL
    • Tower of Insolence Lower Levels Recharge Stone
    • Rare Accessory Pack (Underground)
    • Greater Rare Accessory Pack (Underground)

    • Soul Crystal Coupon Pack (Underground)
    • Hair Accessory Pack (Underground)
    • Attribute Stone Pack (Underground)
    • Greater Attribute Stone Pack (Underground)
    • Enchant Scroll Pack (Underground)
    • Greater Enchant Scroll Pack (Underground)
    • Lucky Enchant Stone Pack (Underground)
    • Greater Lucky Enchant Stone Pack (Underground)

what are your other plans please? As it only helps a small amount.

the majority of players are really hacked off at the moment, we appreciate the herb but it’s just a temporary measure for something much more substantial surely?

We are also working with the Dev team to move up the release of the Varka Silenos Barracks and Ketra Orc Outpost hunting zone renewal. The details of these Lv. 112 party hunting zones are still being arranged, and we are aiming for a mid- to late- September release. This schedule may change as COVID-19 continues to impact development timing and scheduling.

-) This looks like the Mystery Box has bad income in order to extend it for another 2 weeks.

+) Red Libra is more than welcome to stay for another 3 weeks.

-) 5 hours for a database maintenance for real?

"DELETE FROM tblEvent WHERE idItem IN (SELECT idItemToRemove FROM tblEventItemsToRemove);"

This is all it takes for the database cleanup of those items .... And this should take 5 hours to execute? Come on...

Server & application tests take another 20-30 mins.

I will soon promote my 17 years old computer science students to you guys. They take 1 hour to do such a maintenance...

Looking for straight answer for:

1. Mele atack lag - are you working on solution? Do we have any eta for it?

2. Item skill icon not refresh.

3. Inventory limit for change main-dual. You add a lot of new items, would be nice to increase basic inventory slots so we can change with more then 95.

4. Any news about new party zones development progress? At least give some hope for our support classes and put some news about.

5. PvP balance, did you even consider to make any changes so we can back to mmorpg from current fps style with 1 shot pvp.

6. Any consideration about ingame economics - adena drop vs l2 store prices vs market items.

I think many players will sign under this, its a few things but can make lineage back on track.

well, it would be nice if adena drop at least compensated what you spend on shots and ores while farming. It may be the case if you kill mobs with 1 shot, but this does not happen to mere mortals like myself.

Also noticeable reduction of posts huh? people are finally fed up as well? Will that motivate changes, owning responsibility and finally clear communication and proof of work form NC? highly doubt it but some can just  hope. 

Still taking notes how NOT to treat my customers. Learning a lot here.

I got your point but sadly people holding all the items are not gonna suddenly drop the Prices on their Items because the Server gains less Adena. 
We been having decreased Adena for long now and Item Prices are still 100-250BIL+++++ 
Assumed Adena Count required to be able to pvp is still above 3TRILLION ADENA

Going by what everyone wants to buy their Ncoin for which is 2kk each, So 3.2Tril Adena will cost you 20.000 RL Donuts

¬¬ This only happens to lazy people. I've been playing console & PC games since the 80's & don't look like the example in this Dailymail article.

Get out & play some sports. Go to the gym 4-6 days out of the week to get some proper exercise.

This "downgrade" of an update made servers "normal"  instead of "heavy" I wonder why ...

—  a new party hunting zone called Spirit Forest has been added:

Character Level 110+
Number of characters 5 ~ 7
Monesters level 116
Stay time 60 min.
Reset time Daily 6.30 a.m.
How to enter Via NPC Benusta (Town of Aden)
Zone specifics Only monsters dwell in the zone; there's no boss.

— the characters will receive additional XP for being within a party while hunting in the zone;
— Adena, XP and SP can be obtained from monsters in the zone (no trophies).

Changed Hunting Zones 

Throne of Heroes

— the Throne of Heroes hunting zone has been changed as follows:

Zone Name Throne of Heroes
Character Level 110+
Number of characters 4 ~ 100 (14 and above recommended)
Required clan level to enter 7 ~ 13
Stay time 60 min.
Reset time Daily 6.30 a.m.
How to enter Via NPC Roiental (Rune)
Zone specifics Only members of the same clan can enter the zone.
As clan level increases, the new levels of difficulty become available in Throne of Heroes.
