Forgot some of the other programs that I sometimes have running when L2 is up...like when I'm fishing.

Corel Painter/Illustrator/Draw

Wacom graphic tablet software

Adobe Photoshop

Epson and HP scanning software. I mention these because at one time my security program automatically blocked them as a potential hazard. I had to manually adjust the settings and designate them as a "safe" program. I'm sure this has been patched by now, but just in case...

Netflix streaming

Comcast/Xfinity streaming

1. All flavors of NC launcher/Lineage II launcher (not NCWest related)
2. GameGuard, (N)CGuard, HackShield, VAC, BattlEye, Punkbuster and other trash
3. VirtualBox, VMWare, Docker, HyperV related things
4. All applications provided via Cygwin and/or MinGW
5. ThrottleStop, RTSS; Alt1 and other both selective and generic screen capture/overlay and DX/OGL/GDI injectors. Things like SwiftShader should also NOT be blocked.
6. Windows Task Manager, Windows Process Explorer, Windows Process Monitor(!), Windows PowerShell, Windows Command Processor, Telnet, PuTTy, pageant, any form of ssh daemon, Wireshark, KeePass, HwInfo, Dropbox, Proxifier, Opentext SOCKS client

I see many people wanted to be able run servers/torrents/etc in the same time when they are plying in l2.. Idk why they leave in autoload many dev-things. May be lineage in background helps them work better... or they play with this better..

I wanted mostly only one: do not turn off shields of my antivirus every time when I log in into the game. It's borring and non-secure.

Software:

Avast Antivirus,
vpn,
streaming/capturing tools,
mouse/keypad/gamepad/keyboard/... tools.

I guess, all other was noticed.

It's for when people keep an afk shop on Aden Central Square open in the background while using their computer for real-life things (work, other hobbies ...) :)

Spoken like someone who uses 8 GB RAM in 2018. Yes, I do work on many things and the last thing I want is to keep closing/reopening stuff, followed by thinking of exactly where I was when I stopped. That's just a complete waste of time so I just open up everything I will need after a restart and then keep switching. Virtual desktop feature also works wonders here.

Plus, with 64 GB RAM I can afford to do so, with the rare exception of when I need to open a lot of memory needy VMs.

ah another thing but please ensure compatability with all current actively used operating systems like iOS/Linux/Win95 through 10 etc.

ps, yes I put Win95 there for the funz but also cause I have no idea what the oldest version of windows is that ppl use to play L2
