If I remember correctly, @Jujimislead the community at the start of Classic that it would NOT be a P2W game(I understand this was not his fault and as an employee, he was responding with the info he had at the time). But Classic quickly devolved into a grotesque and perverted cash grab dominated by a handful of No-Life whales, bot masters, and RMT pros. For me, L2 will forever be the standard by which all MMO's are compared. And I have no problem with pay to play, pay for convenience, or pay for boost. But what I have zero interest in is another massive P2W scheme that requires thousands and even tens of thousands of dollars to stay relevant. I still have friends that feel trapped on Classic servers because they cant walk away from the "investment" they made....it's almost like an opioid addiction. I hope you guys can address some of these issues I am reading on these forums. A big part of me is very excited for a chance to play a new version of the game I love, but I wont if the company has not learned from the past and intend to implement a better balance between corporate greed the quality of life for their gaming community. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Agree with 90% of your sayings just about MMORPG part I don't agree there is basic MMORPG elements missing in this game since God knows when: 1) Quests-what mmorpg doesn't have quests (don't need to answer as we are here) 2) Story - This part missing after Goddess of Destruction. 3) Achievements -(let me rephrase: items, achievable in game loot mob drops etc..) 97% NPC doesn't even have a purpose since they are outdated, do anyone remember Seed Manor Traders in every Town. What's the purpose of them now?? Some of them NPC's give critical error once you try to talk to them.. @Juji will send you some screenshots which NPC's give critical errors.. Plus map is shirked to 14 locations... 90% of the Lineage 2 world is not in use as its still stuck in Scions of Destiny and Kamael (Gracia) patches which were 20 years ago.. (aight might be less but you get the point) Elven Fortress, Giant Cave(inner cave), Devil Isle, Beast Farm, Wasteland, Forgotten Temple, Garden of Eva, Wall of Argos, Valley of the Saints, Pavel Ruins, Gracia Continent..
