Thanks a lot for this, I had overlooked that stuff entirely.

Are all these items available in npc shops? or do you have to make newbie alt to farm some? 

(I found heavy chisel and homemade sword on sale in starter towns, but could not find butchers sword and fist of butcher to complete the set.)

no grade and D items can be bought, so you don't need to farm for many of those collections.

go to Giran ( to the wall by Randolf) all the NPC's are there and they sell gear/consumables cheaper, like HP pots for 33 adena and ore for 440 ( 36 and 480 in Aden)

Oh thanks ! I was searching all the newbie start town weapon merchants with no luck.
