R110 Grade New Gear on KOREA Server!!

Recommended Posts

about time and like the changes to the dragons as well :)

not quite sure what they mean with step 7 at the weapons section and step 6 at the armors ?

does that mean you can down grade R110 to R99 or the other way around ?

also what grade will the new dragon epics (Fafurions and the improved Anthy & Valakas) be ?

finally skills get extended to lvl 110 :D

PS, WTB Fafurion Fists! :P

Those upgrading statements are indeed contradictory. 로 is a dative case/directional postposition and means "towards" while 승급 resp. 昇級 means "upgrade" (you can see the rising sun from 日本 resp. Japan in the first ideogram).

I think the key to understanding the matter is the second sentence which says that the existing Dark & Bloody Enhancement Stones must be removed. Check the "organigram" right at the top here:
http://lineage2.plaync.com/board/update/view?articleId=635706

The second, blue thingy is Blessed R99 equipment (R99_축복). Below that it says "upgrade" (승급). Below that comes the normal R110 equipment (R110_일반). To the right of the Blessed R99 you still have the option (the dotted lines) of making traditional Dark (다크) and Bloody (블러디) R99 equipment.

To sum it up, you can upgrade Blessed R99 to normal R110 :)

kool, here's the RU discussion topic: https://forums.goha.ru/showthread_0_0_t1250718

any idea if what they wrote about the upgrade from R99 to R110 is correct as I can't find any source of that ?

JoyVoy: Conditions for apa from Helios to Krishna (+20 point):

  • 인챈트 수치: 3 하락 - lowering the point at ape before Krishna
  • 소모 재원: 결정체 R 그레이드 2,091,733 - R crystals

@Yidao off-topic, but what happened with Rochand ?

Right... It's been like this since 2-3 weeks I think ? Dunno ... :P
But, anyway... On topic ... The armor weapon change is awesome... Ncwest was stuck on 105 all this time cause of this ... The change on attribute is a plus from my pov .. That's a "nerf" on dragon weapon damage albeit a minus one .. So sorry to see that the Fortuna quest will be deleted ... Eager to see the Fafurion Weapons now !!!

  • 결과물: +17 크리슈나 무기

I couldn't find any source either. Possibly JoyVoy simply talked to a Town Blacksmith or the Blacksmith of Mammon (the patch notes are not clear about that) on the Korean PTS, where Fafurion runs since yesterday.

The basic conditions for the upgrade from R99 to R110 are correct. You can see them at step 02 resp. 승급 on the preview page: the upgrading has a 100% success rate, you must lower the overenchantment value by a certain number ...

Here a better translation:

Conditions for upgrading a +20 Amaranthine Weapon to a Krishna Weapon:

인챈트 수치: 3 하락 - lowering the overenchantment value by 3 [presumably the Blacksmith/of Mammon does that for you]
    소모 재원 - Necessary Materials:
    결정체 R 그레이드 2,091,733 - Crystals R-Grade
    젬스톤 R 20,283 - Gemstones R-Grade
투지 의 결정 811 - Combat Spirit Crystals 47951.jpg, the items needed for the Upgrading System that didn't make it into the export version
아데나 3,042,521,055 - Adena [not mentioned on the preview page]
결과물: +17 크리슈나 무기 - resulting item: +17 Krishna Weapon

Please note:
If upgrading Blessed R99 equipment to Normal R110 equipment is not done by the Blacksmith of Mammon (like upgrading Normal R110 to Improved R110 -> Dark/Bloody -> Limited R110), but by a regular Town Blacksmith, then it could be tied into the Blessed Apocalypse -> Normal Specter Upgrading System we never got. In other words, we at NCWest might not be able to upgrade R99 to R110 like the Korean players :P

Since the Dragon Jewelry is overenchanted with Angel's Jewelry Enchant Scrolls, my guess would be that they are R-Grade, like for example the Angel's Earring dropped by lvl 108 Orfen:
http://lineage2.power.plaync.com/wiki/천사의+귀걸이

But that's just a guess. The patch notes don't say, and when you take into consideration that Antharas and Valakas will be lvl 118 as of Monday, the jewelry might as well be R99. Like you can use an EWR on Amaranthine Weapons.

Nice, at least all those people running around with +20 R99 weapons currently can upgrade them to +17 Krishna....... oh wait, I can count the ones running around with those on 1 hand, all servers combined.

This is going to give NCSoft the excuse to introduce those +20 safe enchant scrolls that Korea got. debt-management.png

It would have been really good if JoyVoy had mentioned where he got his information from, but the materials required (Crystals, Gemstones, Combat Spirit, Adena) make me strongly suspect that this is the General Upgrading System run by the Town Blacksmiths and not the Krishna Upgrading System operated by the Blacksmith of Mammon. If this is the case, the possibility to upgrade R99 to R110 should start with a +7 Blessed Amaranthine Weapon:
http://lineage2.power.plaync.com/wiki/장비+승급#hd107600

Please note that the price for upgrading the weapon JoyVoy tried is amazingly low compared to the Specter -> Amaranthine price. This could be a PTS setting, the developers trying to make it easier on the players and hoping that somebody would actually upgrade to Krishna, taking screenshots and thus advertising the new patch :D

The only upside that I see to this could be the fact that I saw parts and Recipes on the site. Could this be NCSofts attempt to resurrect crafting and maybe even spoiling? Would be nice.

Most probably that will not come to NA version like it wasnt come in the past with the Specter Amaranthine upgrade..... why? bad for bussiness.... r110 enchant stones ready to go!!!.....if there is still any player left to sell them here by that time.....:D
How is dropping the population, will be only chronos and half of it boxes...

Recipes and key materials (무기 조각과 방어구 재료) have indeed been added both for Krishna Weapons and Leviathan Armors:
http://lineage2.plaync.com/board/tsnotice/view?articleId=635705
(about halfway down the page)

It doesn't say who drops them, but my guess would be - apart from Fafurion herself - the lvl 111+  monsters in the newly added Fafurion's Temple/파푸리온의 신전. It will still be a year until we get this update and players have plenty of time to level up with the improved Orfen exp tables, but I guess there still won't be very many people who are able to hunt lvl 111 monsters efficiently. There is also no reason to assume that the drop rates in Fafurion's Temple will be any better than in the other hunting grounds, so it might be some time until we see the first self-crafted R110 equipment (the recipes have the standard 60% success rate). The main source for that stuff will probably be full drops from the dragon(s).

Please note, there is no R110 Leviathan Jewelry. The developers apparently assume that at that level everybody uses Boss Jewelry.

I would like to remind people how long it took back in the old days to farm & craft the S80 armors Vesper/Vesper Noble and the top from raid drops only Vorpal to set the right expectations on the time it will take to get a full working set of R110 ;)

I'm not saying bring back the difficulty of the old school collect 50k animal bones, the current craft system is good, there is just 0 need for it. No one crafts anything because NCSoft floods the market with weapons, armors, and boss jewels every single event. I have +6 and +8 R99 sets for my alt FFS, for no damn reason. The only thing people honesty use crafters for anymore is crafting level 5 mats, which only have 1 purpose. The only people who use spoilers honestly are the bots, and the VERY few people who like to play a super under powered dagger class compared to the rest.

Also curious about translation of Light armor set here.

Set effect - 2 pieces Leviathan Greyhound STR +3, DEX +3
Set effect - 3 pieces of Leviathan Greyhound Physical / Magical Skill Power + 5%
Set effect - 4 pieces Leviathan Greyhound Max MP + 10%, Stun / Knockback / Knockdown Resistance + 10%
Set effect - Leviathan Greaves 5 pieces Attack + 10%,
Magical + 10%, Defense + 7%, Magic Resistance + 7%, Healing +7%, Attribute Resistance +20

If anyone plays in korea can you tell me if it is more popular there for healers to wear light instead of robe, because It looks like they are tailoring light sets to work for both light DD's and Healers if not all robe users.

The impression you got about the Leviathan Light Set being tailored for Healers might be an artifact of the translation. At "Set Effect - Leviathan Light Armor 5 Pieces"/세트효과 - 레비아탄 경갑 5피스 it says in the Korean version 받는 힐량 +7%/received Heal Amount +7%:
http://lineage2.plaync.com/board/tsnotice/view?articleId=635705
(about 1/4 down the page)

I think this set effect is based on the assumption that Light Armor users are more susceptible to receiving damage than Heavy Armor characters and therefore need more healing. At the bottom of that table you can see that a  5 piece Leviathan Robe Set gives you +10% received heal amount, which would fit into this pattern. Robe users are even more vulnerable and in need of heals than Light Armor guys.

As far as the armor preferences of Korean Healers are concerned, you would have to check this guy's Youtube channel:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPiS-NDU7oMr0YdP0AirIAA
I haven't done a statistical analysis, but my personal impression is that Korean Healers prefer robes :)

The leviathan armor can also be made from Blessed R99 armor?

If I got it right it can be enchanted like all R grade armory and can get some dark or blood optional as well? Is it of some advantage to make r110 set compared to the existing +12 or higher dark/blood sets we got in game?

Is there any way I can see the armors being used by the game races? Human warrior, mage, Kamael, Orc, elven, hamsters (ertheia)?

Yes, Leviathan Armor can also be made from Blessed R99 Armor (기존 R99 축복받은 아이디오스 방어구로 승급이 가능합니다):
http://lineage2.plaync.com/board/tsnotice/view?articleId=635705
(about 1/4 down the page)

If it follows the same pattern as the weapons, i.e. according to the Korean Upgrading System that is already in place, your R99 Armor must be overenchanted to at least +6:
http://lineage2.power.plaync.com/wiki/장비+승급#hd107600
Any Dark or Bloody Stones applied to it must be removed before you can upgrade it. Then, after an intermediate  upgrading step to Enhanced Leviathan at the Blacksmith of Mammon, where you get the set effects, you can again apply a Dark or Bloody option:
http://lineage2.plaync.com/board/update/view?articleId=635706

You will find the stats and set options for the Leviathan Armor about 1/4 down here:
http://lineage2.plaync.com/board/tsnotice/view?articleId=635705
And here for example a Bloody Eternal Heavy Set:
http://lineage2.power.plaync.com/wiki/블러디+아이디오스+중갑+세트
While Eternal has STR +3 CON -1, Leviathan has STR +3 Con +3. Eternal has a fixed Critical Damage increase, Leviathan a percent increase. So Leviathan is definitely better. And with Leviathan you have the possibility to make it a dual-purpose Bloody+Dark Limited set, something that Japan and I believe also Innova has for Eternal, but not NCWest.

On Monday the final patch notes will be posted here, probably in the Korean afternoon:
http://lineage2.power.plaync.com/
Unlike the text-only patch notes in the Announcements Section, the detailed ones in the Powerbook Wikipedia will probably have a link to a dedicated Leviathan page like the one for the Eternal Sets I linked above, with screenshots for all races and genders. Since this is a big update, this might take a few days, but I don't think it will be too long :)

Luckly this will help draw more people back to the game. For months they only added new field raids and always the same boring drops, whoose only good use was to craft the Dragon weapons.

In the new weapons section, they kept the same pattern? Not a single new 2h melee blunt?

I see the picture of the dual swords was shown as just a single short sword?

I see the benefits of the new armor, but how can the new R110 weapons be a good alternative to the already OP dragon weapons?

Finally they decided to make some nice new gear out of the blue :)

When you exchange your eternal/dark/bloody for the new r100 armor, is there a way to get it blessed or it is already a final version item? Because as we all know blessed/dark/blood armory give better stats than your regular armory.

The mixed set you mention, that is also in the dev mode, fuses the set into pvE + pvP and keeps the apperance of the original set used. It also gives some shoulder blades in the final apperance.

Does the improved into Dark/Blood Leviathan armory change their looks or it is a single look pack of sets we got?
