R110 Grade New Gear on KOREA Server!!

Well the upgrade costs are still in a PTS setting, so nobody really knows the price for making them into R110. It is a nice feature to be abble to use your old weapons and armory into something new  

Servers have some dragon weapons, and on russian version it is easier to get them upgraded if we compare to NCwest game setting.

still a slim minorty which happens to have big impact due to those weapons nature sure but R110 gear will make them alot less overpowered, all armor parts will have 180 elements aka 300 more resist just from that and weapons wise all R110 weapons will have 150 more ele patt.. also skill learn lvls will be upto 110 etc

we'll see how that all works out ^^

I like the fact that R110 is going to narrow the gap between dragon weapon users and Dark weapon users. I don't think it will be enough but its a step in the right direction. As far as the skills being leveled up to 110, its meh. IMO its just lazyness. They have kind of worked themselves into a corner with the AP system maxing out at 110, unless at 111 you unlock another point, which isn't going to help much at all unless they expand the current one even further. Maybe a 5th class transfer is coming soon?

I could be wrong, but the only place I heard L2 still has a decent player base is the Retail Innova Russian servers. Even on Korea the lack of players can be felt, just ask Labby's app 

The excessive amount of pay to win events and total lack of balance between the classes made the game dead for quite a lot of players. The devs got first a thing for the Saya Seer, then just boosted the Eviscerator class to the broken point. Warriors and summoners are damage wise useless on the field ever since Tauti Update. All the ground breaking items in the l2 Store have active and passive skills that make it impossible to the regular player compete or even try and farm similar items. The very first events of the l2 store still had a decent field reaction.

I won't even mention the third part software hacks we had for years in Ncwest that seem to have returned with certain clans in game.

Aside from all this issues, we got stuck on R99 gear for quite a while. The refreshing feeling of a new gear grade could help save or delay the doomsday!

That's right, there is no two-handed Warrior Blunt in the Krishna weapon series.

The way those weapons are shown on the preview page is a bit unfortunate. They all seem to be more or less the same size and Dual Swords and Dual Daggers are not displayed at all. On that picture you have:
One-handed Warrior Sword / Dagger / One-handed Warrior Blunt
Two-handed Warrior Sword / Fist Weapon / Spear
One-handed Mage Blunt / Two-handed Mage Blunt / One-handed Mage Sword
Bow / Crossbow
Shield / Sigil

At 11:34 in Aram's video you can see the left NPC at the Fafurion Temple port-in spot shouldering a Krishna Slasher - it's quite big

At 42:06, and then again at 50:08 in the video you can see how the Blacksmith of Mammon is extracting Dark and Bloody Stones, leaving you with a Blessed R99 weapon that keeps its SAs, but the Giant's Energies etc. to make it Dark/Bloody are lost.

The upgrading from R99 to R110 is indeed done by Head Blacksmith Ferris, not the Blacksmith of Mammon. At 47:20 you can see that this variety is not included in the explanation of the Upgrading System, so there is a certain hope that it will be separate and available to us. On the other hand, the video was made on the PTS and it could simply be that Ferris' dialogue screen has not yet been updated.
The drop in overenchantment when upgrading seems to be always 3 levels.

As far as the usefulness of the R110 weapons is concerned, one major benefit is that you can improve them in fairly small steps. At 1:27:50 you can see how Aram makes his Krishna Dagger Enhanced, which gives him +3% Physical Crit.Damage and +7% HP/MP/CP, then at 1:28:41 he goes for Bloody with +15% PvE damage and again +10% HP/MP/CP. Please note, to make a Bloody Krishna weapon you need a Dark Stone

The mixed set you mention, that is also in the dev mode, fuses the set into pvE + pvP and keeps the apperance of the original set used. It also gives some shoulder blades in the final apperance.

There are no Scrolls of Blessing - R110 Grade. What is called "Blessed" in the lower levels is called "Enhanced Effect"/강화 효과 for weapons and "Set Effect"/세트 효과 for armors. It goes like this:
Leviathan -> Leviathan with Set Effect -> Dark/Bloody Leviathan -> Limited Leviathan

Like for example basic Leviathan Leather Armor and Leggings give you, in addition to P.Def. and M.Def. +5 resp. +3 points Physical and Magical Evasion. If you go to the Blacksmith of Mammon and bestow a Set Effect on both pieces, you get in addition to that +3 STR and +3 DEX:

When Aram made his Krishna Dagger Enhanced, it did not change appearance. But at 2:03 in the official trailer you can see a Titan with a blue-glowing Slasher. If this is not a product of the movie director's fantasy, it means that at the Dark/Bloody and/or Limited stage the R110 equipment does change appearance. On the PTS nobody seems to have tried it (don't click on any pictures, there might be malware!), so we will have to wait until tomorrow for more information

I think it will stay with Ferris as we already got a few other upgrade (Evolved Agathions) options running solely through him so that makes totally sense.

The upgrade to Bloody needing a Dark stone sounds more like a bug to me but yeah we will know more tomorrow

When you return your armory back to Blessed R99 Same enchant from dark/blood, at least you get the dark/blood stones back or all mats are indeed lost?

Aram tried only weapons, but assuming that armors follow the same guiding lines, then the enchantment level when you extract the Dark/Bloody Stones will stay the same (+6 Bloody Eternal Breastplate -> +6 Blessed Eternal Breastplate) and only drop when you upgrade your Blessed Eternal to regular Leviathan (+6 Blessed Eternal Breastplate -> +3 Leviathan Breastplate). You should get the Dark/Bloody Stones back but lose all Elcyum, Energies of Destruction etc. you put into the original Eternal Breastplate to make it Bloody half a year ago.

Does it show on the website the actual crafting method for the weapons? Is it going to be level 4 or 5 mats for the weapons craft? Only reason I ask is I seriously doubt NCWest will allow us to upgrade R99 stuff to R110, simply because they would loose out on a huge revenue stream from people buying enchanting stuff for weapons on clean R110.

In the PTS patch notes it doesn't say what materials are needed. The basic method is regular crafting by a Dwarf (it doesn't say which lvl of Create Item is required), with recipes, key parts, and then ... lvl 5 mats???

I think it is safe to think that soon after that amazing pack of sets, they will unlock the +12 set option, with red glow 

I always found it strange they did not follow the Ruby and Saphire levels color, we got gem level 3 with blue, 4 on the yellow and 5 on the red.

Some people suposed we would get a dragon armor set, but that was only a fan made armory on a private l2ertheia client. Still amazing though. 

The other armory seen on preview updates screen cards were a deep blue with red and white details. Maybe they are what enhanced Leviathan looks like?!

Btw, the leviathan seems to be an improved version of the already existing r95 seraph

I think it is not a bad deal. You get back at least the dark stones and can market them out once u reached 110.

as said before Ferris npc makes sense and there's really no reason for not following Korea this time and with regards to this whole "loosing out on enchanting" well that's why the upgrade will remove +3 aka it will actually incite players to OE again their gear..

there's no indication of getting another armor oe set effect so for now +10 remains the max, ppl like to get higher oe's for the oe bonus on the items like on boots increased runspeed etc.

anyways by the time this update comes to NCWest we will be down to 1 server so NCWest better stop milking their players as hardcore as they do now by then and try to keep the few that still play to stay around

Russian Retail has like four or five active servers with a decent amount of a player base.

yup cause 1. RU players have a way different mind set then Western ones and 2. their service providers actually know how to run the game, give fast & good support and don't over do it with l2store prices..

anyone can see that every week lot's of ppl are leaving NCWest servers, market is more crazy then a rollercoaster ride due to the amount of ppl selling off their gear and why is that hmm ? Most those players will go play on EU / RU or one of their Classic servers - none of them will touch an NCWest game again and let's be honest, can we blame them ?

Many players have been trying to get this point accross to NCWest staff and it just gets ignored, most likely upto the point it really will be just 1 server left and the way things are escalating that point will be reached before we get this Fafurion update..

It's time NCWest acknowledges the elephant in the room here

It's pointless to post what ncwest could be in 2020 if in 2019 there won't be any server left to run.

To be honest in here we have two different approaches.

NCwest silence, denial, ban, overprice

Innova answer within the hour, promo (see below), free access

Imho the difference it's between the ones who care to work, the others who don't care at all

DIL and the rest of the crew are constantly working to improve the numbers

Neutron and the rest of the crew are constantly working to decrease the numbers.

 

As for the promos i've seen a post elsewhere monthly fee on innova should be 2 $. It's wrong it's the first month that's 2 then from the second on it's 10 for l2 classic and 8 for l2 orfen.

Pika didn't post the incoming promos (l2 normal is receiving the orfen update and l2 classic is receiving the seven signs update next manteinance)

Promos free access (no pay for the second, third account and so on)

Hero returns (free hero weapon and armor for the returning players)

Newbie Luck (free hero weapon and armor for the new characters)

Both hero and newbie do apply on both l2 normal and l2 classic

As you can see the difference is between the ones who work and who are constantly logged in the game and the forums to earn their wage

and the ones who log in once per week to get paid, then who cares they don't play the game either.

Sadly i don't think l2 na will see 2019.

I want to give to all of the l2 ncwest players an hint.

Check the last time ncwest staff posted somewhere on the net something.

Then check the last time innova staff posted somewhere (because they are everywhere twitch, reddit, facebook, twitter and so on) something.

Last hint. Innova launches the game through a normal internet browser (chrome)

If you are using a vpn to log in on ru or eu don't get discouraged if the page doesn't load up fast (it's the frost security)

You have to try tons of times untill the page loads. Log in and then don't erase the cookies. You will be recognized asap, cell phone security code, pc security code and so on.

Have fun and go to a beach for god sake

After watching that stream I can't help but notice how little new content is actually in the game, for such a waiting period. The major selling point is the gear upgrade but even that reminds me of how over the years it turned into the exact upgrading system as it was for years in Aion, upgrading to the next ranking by removing a fixed amount of enchant level and add some mats, having to go pve or pvp route again after. This only implies that the dev team is smaller each year and shared across their games. Even the fact that being a non religious country these 2-3 NC games have all deities from all across the world mentioned in every of their patch. Actually NCWest changes a lot of names in Aion unlike EU/RU but I don't see the same happening in L2.

As for NCWest, keep in mind that they are not  independent and they rely mostly on NC Korea for everything. This is one of the reasons you don't get fast answers. The game itself is not in a good shape and its effects can be felt even on servers from Innova. The publisher there tries to smooth things out for players but in the end the game is what it is. Don't expect any miracles.

So anyone that owns +13 eternal gear can comeout with a +12 set waiting for the new ++++ bonuses

If the armor/weapons stones do not make it in the export version, which would cost more than tousands of clean r99 gear crystalized for the dam stones, they may insanely increase the mats needed, and since dragons will be leved up quite high, the clean drop might not be that easy to get
