a quick question regarding rear damage  can anyone benefit from it or only DAGGER classes   , i mean if i do massive aoe damage and mobs arent facing me do they incur rear damage if i selected the collection or skill tree rear damage paths/boosts , do the ones showing their back take additional damage  from  the  COLLECTION   BOOST  and ofc i not talking like hk damage just additional damage  1.5%/3% / skill tree rear damage

@Juji @EMpulse  @Arctic  can i get an official answer please or get it tested  i am sure alot non daggers would like to know before investing sp / collection items

ty for your support

L2 is about stacking several bonuses for GOOD stats on your Toon... a non-Dagger could get some extra damage with Rear Damage bonus[a Tyrr or Tank to keep Agro away etc] with Ability(SP)/Collection/SA/Augments, but with the limited Rear Damage bonuses they could enjoy, compared to F2P Dagger's Rear damage it's just not worth it in most situations(maybe 1-3 Yuls with Rear Damage could be useful?? depending on investment.)

Rear damage applies to all physical attacks on the rear, so yes, other physical classes could benefit from it. But the only two classes that can get the most of rear damage are Eviscerator (distortion) and Othell (backstabs). Pointless to add on any other class as you would have to i.e.: move to the rear of a raid boss. Even worse for mob hunting.

There is no reason why the AP and collection bonuses for increased rear dmg don't work on all classes if your dmg is dealt to the rear.

You don't have the boosts a dagger does, but the directional aspect should work.

Is it useful? If u party play alot, imo yes. If you solo alot, no. You will see the rear more often in party with a tank.

Does rear damage boost just P.Atk damage(from back there...), or does P.Skill damage also get boosted(from back there...)

Do rear damage bonuses only apply to(P.Atk) standard attacks, or do skill attacks also get more damage from behind? A dagger 's skills get a bonus either way... if it only applies to (P.Atk) standard attacks, then only a P.Crit Damage built DD could get any benefit ie. Evi or old school Titan... if any non-dagger Skill gets extra damage from behind, then maybe it could be a helpful option.

Apply for both attacks.

And for Eviscerator, Distortion applies rear damage even when hitting on the front and sides.
