I look a lot of youtuber, read all patch note in Korea to understand what comming to us to keep try to make best choose before we get new update but it's not easy to know how hard to update will hurt us ...

There is simple stuff to know to understand who most of us looks like noob each time after update ... we don't have the same shop and same sales ... + the update system isn't fair with us.

 

Before ask us : are you happy with the update get your head out of the sand ...

Korea have big sales each time they introduice new item. That means durring 2 weeks you can get for money of course the new Augment stone, the new fallen angels neck and other stuff like that Tersi it self was a 4 weeks promo for anniversary in Korea, price were way cheaper then us but trust me, they spent big to get lvl 10 Tersi. If price was cheaper I would do same for sure cause first of all it's FUN and that's makes me better.

So now let's talk about what you can found in Korea

Hooo a set +20 isn't so OMFG over powered ... B.epic +20 isn't too. Weapon +30  or DW stg 2 ...

So game is balanced for Korean reality not us ... 


New hunt zone is more chalanging and that's super to be honest the xp boost is such a good things but definitly we need change in Sales, price should be drop to go more like Korea style. I'm sure you won't lose money maybe you could win more cause we'll buy more

  • Consider reducing some prices on some of your events - The difference between the top tier and mid tier is getting bigger and bigger and that's due to the fact a lot of the gear necessary to get to the top tier content is blocked by ridiculously high prices. It's not reasonable to ask the same amount of money that you use to buy a car or, in some cases, a house to buy a single item ingame. And there are many items like that ingame at the moment. Try to be reasonable on the prices asked on your events would help a lot on making the server healthier.
  • More events that Korea has access to and we do not - Bunch of events like the no party lvl penalty event or the improve enchants events and many others that they get and we don't. Would be nice to benefit from some of this events too.
  • Make change to dual simple - Please end the restrictions needed to change between main and dual. It's so annoying every time you need to change class.
  • Add option to keep just one of the augment options - The recent change that make us able to keep the previous augment was awesome, it would be even more awesome be able to keep just one of the different augment options. it would even make ppl use more stones to get a few extra stats.
  • More feedback from GMs in forums - I imagine you guys have some limitations on the feedback you can give because of some orders from Korea but that doesn't justify the lack of feedback in the forum from your side. I've seen weeks with reasonable kind of requests/questions in the forum and the only activity from the gm's is the post of the week maintenance.

In each update most ppl including me are happy for new things.

In specific update everything got worst than ever. i m not gonna mention adena i lost (who cares)

but was so harder mobs to same locations that i felt i was 3 years back i had 1/10 of my gear and i could not kill a mob.

In my situation i m a good geared yul and next item i miss cost over 1T with now prices in naia which items does not excist.

At conclusion. there is no way to keep playing 90% of ppl cause there is noprobability get stronger to kill mobs.

Personally i found waste of boosts to farm toi and refinery causei kill 1/10 of mobs i killed before and most time i die.

No reason to spend money on game anymore , a game which has minimum chances to enchant , 0 chances to combine,

less farm areas and only afk farm in a loc where i just dont die just to say that i m playing a game. this is not a game anymore not even a habbit.

Hope from that topic if someone will read it (i doubt) to fix something just make game intresting again.

Why you're at it, if you're sharing feedback with the Developers, please pass along ALL of our dislike of the absence of any REAL meaningful community moderators and any REAL interaction with the player base. As numerous posts have pointed out, we have ALREADY given you feedback. We have ALREADY opened tickets we have ALREADY commented on the insane paywall, for YEARS. And there has never been, not one time, an honest legit response to the actual player base... not once. 

 

So please forgive us if we think this is a huge BS post and nothing is going to change, just like LAST update, where you gave us a "boost" and then... you peaced out for 6 mo... that seems to be the usual for you guys. Pretend to care, as for feedback, then do nothing. You guys are level 150 when it comes to you do nothing skills!

We'd love to relay some of your thoughts & opinions on monster difficulty, Adena drops, or items in hunting zones.

So lets break it to 3 parts.

Part 1: Monster Difficulty

Nowdays to get around 105 to lets say 107 its doable even with free gear. After around 107 to 108 lvl you reach the xp-item-dependent-wall, where you may make your life easier if you buy some NC Coins etc.

On 110 lvl things get harder than they used to be, for example I m currently running a full party (without healer) in Fields of Silence and while I was about to move to Sel Mahum region before the update, when you ve introduced the new update content I can hardly stay in Fields of Silence, long story short I had to break the bank in order to be able to stay in the same spot that I m used to be for the last 2 years (more or less).

On 116 lvl the toon I m running was able to stay alive even with solo buffs at Wall of Argos (116 zone) now I had to go down to a 114 zone (Lizardmen) and I had to use an iss in order to manage to stay alive ( I have to note also that sometimes I die and lately this happens a lot). I ve tried to go to Mahum zone but for some strange reason my toon cant sustain the damage from the mobs.

118+ zone I have no idea what is going on I m sorry I cant express my opinion but I guess more or less its going to be the same thing.

Part 2 Adena drops

Many strange things about Adena gaining mechanism. My 116 toon which happens to be a mage gathers more adenas now in IoS zone than before the update (its a mage by the way) while an archer that I m running failed so bad that I had to change its class to tyr titan in order to be able to farm efficiently (bb archer :D). You removed toi zone that we could farm adenas but you ve revamped Atelia zone but still that zone seems extraordinary and rather difficult.

Part 3 Items (worst part)

We have new items, armor SA which are .....rather useless I would say. We need percentage-wise items and not flat-addition-wise items and yes that item gives percentage in defense but starts at stage 7 which is crazy to get. In general the mechanics to get an item are absurd, the chances to create/enchant/craft/obtain etc an item comes close to win the lottery. But mind this the problem comes when the question that arises is "what you have lost in order to give a try to obtain that item" the answer is rather scary I would say, because for someone it may mean that he/she may have invested tons of time, or tons of real life money (which in our days are extremely hard to get) etc.

Conclusion

What I suggest, is to keep up introducing events like the last event with the DW enchanting. With that event you have introduced many items but yet again seemed that you were messing with the enchantment rates, moreover you have to lower the level of good rewards make it easier for the players to get good items that can help them play the game. You have to also lower the prices of all the promo events and try to add bonus enchantement events.

You have to change the enchantment mechanism, for example the mechanism that we have about dragon shirt/circlets/bracelet etc its absurd, when we fail to enchant from lets say +3 to +4 the item ench level shouldnt go back to zero it should retain its level. even below +7. In general stop the "casino" feeling that  the game recently has.

Lastly, try to conduct a query in your  database and check about recent situation of the players. And ask the devs to adjust it to OUR needs not in some other region.

We get almost the same content update as Korea and we do understand that you need to "adjust" it to our server needs, but the difference is:

Lineage 2 Korea gets promo loot box gambling events every week - We get promo loot box gambling events that last 4-6 weeks

Lineage 2 Korea promo paid events are cheap - Our promo paid events are 1 box for 80 ncoin or a bundle that costs 50 dollars/euros lol

Lineage 2 Korean players they DO GET VERY GOOD ITEMS from those boxes - We get freya ice rose pots, beers and useless items

Do you remember the last Dragon Slayer Enchant Event? I am sure you have made a lot of money from this event. Why? because people were paying for something and they got good items in return! This will happen when player's money worth it. They will spend more and more. This is a + for you.

The "World Info" (recommended hunting areas) button in Map is outdated. Silent Valley isn't even for 107 lvl player with the blessed exalted armor +10 and weapon +12. Same goes for Alligator Island and also for more areas.

Admins and mods are inactive, no one is interracting with players/community in forums. Every time you welcome a new member in your team with a forum post he/she starts posting few replies and then he/she disappears from the world. Moreover, GMs never login into the game at least to say "hi" to the players or monitor the situation of what's happening in the game.

You nerf all the drops from mobs ON PURPOSE and you add them for real money in l2 store.

Prices are insane. Because few players are able to farm billions they drive all the market and skyrocket all the prices. Even a NORMAL ruby4 costs 25-30+ billions (Chronos). Crazy economy.

Stop increasing XP needed for each level and stop reducing the amount of XP we get from mobs in order to force us to buy XP pots with real money. 

What @MrE said above, players have been shouting and posting those problems and giving feedback in forums/tickets for YEARS but no one's listening. 

Game is not fun anymore. We just leave our PC 24/7 on auto farm and do other things. Most of us only login for dailies and then logout again. No reason to stay for hours in the game since there is nothing else to do apart from grinding like crazy.

You have abandoned your players and your game. You don't care for anything anymore  except for money (no offense with this, i am just posting my opinion)

 

We love this game SO MUCH (even tho it uses a 20 years old game machine xD), that's why we are still here so please make it fun and enjoyable again.

I hope this topic will be discussed with your team and Dev Team. You cannot imagine how excited and happy players will be when they see good changes in the game and they also can get items instead of facing nerfs all the time.

I agree as everyone else said, harder mobs and harder  zones is going to make people leave…fast..   Farming adena once again sucks..  Adena nerf, crit rate nerf, you guys are shooting yourselves in the foot here….  If people can farm more adena, and buy gear they will stay in game….  Messing with the kill rate and drop rate is ass backwards…. I’m decently geared and find certain areas difficult and discouraging….  Party and solo zones are great but it needs to be worth it…. People as you have read can’t stay alive without hella gear and constant pots..  that stuff can be expensive to pop 24/7..  I appreciate the effort you guys are doing, but you need people that are involved in the community to stay up to date..   make toi 1-4 non pvp,  fix the mobs so they can be killed by reg players, better adena drop, and put back gear drops..  I remember it used to make my day if I got a wep/armr drop back in the day…. People can either decide to use it or crush it or sell it back to the store.  Also fix the enchanting rates it’s pretty brutal trying to get anything up there these days and the odds are terrible in compounding…. You want to keep the community happy and keep spending on NCcoin..  make better items available..   update the hero coin rewards….  I can go on forever….

Here is my take on Lineage 2’s issues. I have end game gear, LvL 119, stage 2 daggers, +10 circlet, 18 elmore, +10 artifacts, greater agath, 30 forgottens, hero, etc.

 

Gear Access

The main issue we face is the ability for people to obtain gear without hitting a pay wall.  Each update, mobs get harder and rebalanced for the Korean standard player. However, our export region has been, and still is, the absolute most expensive in regards to paid events of any export region and the least amount of gear distributed from said paid events.

Forgotten skills should be a Collection item or their price and availability completely adjusted.  1 skill costs $1000 USD, $800 USD on an event sale.  Each class needs 2-4 of these learned, and we have a dual class, so that is 4-8 passive skills needed. This is tops $8000 for 1 toon, for some passive skills.  The game is balanced for us having these skills 30/31, but yet a very large portion of people barely get past level 15.

Our export region also lacks the L-Coin store.  This would breathe life into so many players it is unreal.  Why this basic game mechanic has been left out of our region only is insulting to the entire player base.  We see the other regions, we read the official Korean news, we know what the game can be like.  We also know our region is purposely adjusted to milk cash form people.

I get you need to make money. You don’t have to financially gouge you player base unapologetically in the process.

Paid events are typically bad. Loot boxes are bad. People drop $500 USD and get nothing of value, barely topping out at a $200-$250 return.  This makes people not spend or quit.  If you insist on keeping the same types of events and pay models, you have to understand that your pay model is killing the active players from existing. Make prices 1/10 or even 1/5 of their current price and see how many new players spend and show up.

With that said, some events are nice (Slayer, Rim Kama, to name a couple). Then you have utterly insulting events like the real attack cookie craft event.  Spend 200-300 bucks for one chance at a 5% click? In Korea, they get real attack cookies like candy, by the 1000s.  Of course they can make those clicks feasibly.  For us, its price gouging.  We see this, were not dumb.

Why are half the dragons still shut off?

Why do no mobs or raids drop anything we need?

Your current system starves players of all basic items needed to even be semi successful in game.  No one is going to get hooked if they speed to 105 in a week on freebie gear, then get hit with the reality that they must spend a few grand to even kill a mob to progress.  This screams broken product that is mismanaged, not a healthy MMO that entices new players to come.

 

Hero Coin

This is supposed to be a premium currency, and you still advertise it as a bonus perk for all purchases.  However, the items in the Hero Coin store are completely obsolete, and have been for multiple years.

All items in game should be available via Hero Coin for a standard, basic, non insane price, even when not on an event.  This is a premium currency, make it be a premium currency again.

 

Here are some examples:

Dragon Claw : 100 Hero Coin

Elcyum : 1 Hero Coin

30 Day Advanced Mammon Talismans : 50 Hero Coin (Any Type)

Dark/Bloody Armor Stones : 5 Hero Coin

Dark/Bloody Wep Stone : 25 Hero Coin

Cystal of Dawn : 10 Hero Coin

Sayha Talisman Box : 2 Hero Coin

LVL 5 La Vie Box : 50 Hero Coin

+10 Normal Agathion Random : 500 Hero Coin

Kain Scrolls (Ally Types) : 25-50 hero Coin Each

Shiny Kain Scrolls : 150-250 Hero Coin Each

15-18 Cloak Scroll : 250 Hero Coin

Events should allow cheaper and easier access to stuff. But your premium currency for your ultimate spenders should not be forgotten and abandoned.

 

Red Libra Changes

Stone of destiny was an amazing addition. However, there is no way for someone with a $10,000+ USD Dragon Wep to swap that weapon if they want to change class, basically eliminating one of your top paying customers from every swapping their class.  This needs to be majorly re-thought out, as its pushing someone like me to quit instead of reroll due to how bad my class has been balanced against.

At libra, we should be able to pay and swap any stage dragon wep for the same stage, but dif wep type.  You CANNOT lock this to the type of dragon it is (vala to vala for example) because no all dragon weps offer all weapons.

 

PvP Balance

There is no balance in end game PvP. Tyr’s, Yuls and now DK’s own everything in mass PvP and Olympiad.  The game has many classes (Dagger, Summoner specifically) which have been forgotten and obsoleted due to how the game has evolved.

The game is all about non target AoE’s, Celestial, UD, Steel Mind, Range.  There is no point to try and pvp on a dagger anymore as every single class does the 1 shot better, has way more HP, Pdef, damage mitigation skills, and DPS.

In Olympiad, there are talismans that cancel hide.  Dagger is the only class an item like this exists for, why?  A sayha seer’s hide is nack up instantly, so it isn’t a counter to them.  Where is the cancel Guts, Cancel Rage, Cancel UD talismans to balance this overpowered item?

Yul has flair, jump, range, aoe, 1 shot of multiple targets at once.  Why doesn’t a dagger have any of this?  A yul is now an aoe range dagger, and the dagger is completely obsolete.

I would reroll, but I cant, because of the above mentioned red libra dragon wep issue.

To help dagger, the following needs done:

·       Barrage of Nails needs skill power increased to match other stabs.

·       While in hide, we should be immune to all damage to allow movement in mass pvp

·       Cooldown on hide should be lower

·       Ultimate Evasion needs s major boost (skill evasion, mdef, some type of dmg mitigation)

·       Counter Stance should be 100%, not 80%.

Also, once you enacted the 90% crit cap, this never should have been applied to a dagger. When we don’t crit, we do 0 damage.  This had a massively negative affect on our pvp viability.  We have so many missed stabs now, and I maxed out skill crit rate and it still sucks.

Its funny, a dagger is supposed to 1 shot people, but all it does is stab 5x on the rear of a person in 1v1, they pop shirt celest, no tsarget, and 1 non target aoe and you’re dead.

An eviscerator can run around with perma steel mind, basically being immune to everything for long periods of time, with only 10-15s windows of being able to die, all while 1 shotting anything it touches. 

How is a dagger more broken than that?  Yep, this is balanced.

And don’t get me started on the Death Knight.  Every single player agrees this is a broken, unbalanced class that you gave every cool skill to.  But yet this update, you just boost it.  A 110 DK in mid gear can 1 shot an end game toon in end game gear.  Absolutely broken.  Why does a tank need all the best skills from a yul/tyr/eviscerator all at once?  Do the developers even play this game?

I don’t have a problem with the tactile playstyle of dagger. It is fun and I truly love it. But the game is so unbalanced in PvP it isn’t even fun anymore.

 

Hunting Zones

I do believe the true issue facing us is the gear issues I referenced above and pay wall issues. However, the hunting zones are poorly thought out and just boring at times.

You need zones that cater to specific types of classes. Where is the old Fields of Silence that resisted everything except fists and daggers?  Where is the lethal/half kill imperial tomb type area we had long ago?

Where is our monster factions that we were told was coming back years ago?

You should rehash the faction book and the talismans we were able to make with that system, and focus on an end game farm system for upgraded talismans.  Why can we have multiple end game zones for dif party types, different things to farm and upgrade, all for just playing.

It gets old logging in and going to the same place for 20 hours a day.  It’d be nice if we could farm something to break up the grind.  Not everything should be pay walls.

A dagger’s bread and butter is to maintain a status effect on their target based on shadow chase or bluff landing. ToI is completely immune to status effects, lethal, half kill, and there is a new buff on them saying they resist blows.  Why not resist bows or slashers or cutters?  Why just what a dagger needs to be successful?

 

In Closing

I have given long, well written posts in the past.  Nothing was done with them.

The gear access is is truly the root cause of our regions issues.

If you want your product to be better, listen to our suggestions.  I have watched so many people quit over the last year its insane.

JP export region has all gear on everyone. Core and Ru has insanely cheap prices.  We get the watered down expensive region that has no f2p coin store.

Some good marketing, proper price structure for the economies you service (not everyone who plays this makes 500 grand a year) would do Lineage 2 wonders.

How is a dagger more broken than that?  Yep, this is balanced.

And don’t get me started on the Death Knight.  Every single player agrees this is a broken, unbalanced class that you gave every cool skill to.  But yet this update, you just boost it.  A 110 DK in mid gear can 1 shot an end game toon in end game gear.  Absolutely broken.  Why does a tank need all the best skills from a yul/tyr/eviscerator all at once?  Do the developers even play this game?

I don’t have a problem with the tactile playstyle of dagger. It is fun and I truly love it. But the game is so unbalanced in PvP it isn’t even fun anymore.

 

Hunting Zones

I do believe the true issue facing us is the gear issues I referenced above and pay wall issues. However, the hunting zones are poorly thought out and just boring at times.

You need zones that cater to specific types of classes. Where is the old Fields of Silence that resisted everything except fists and daggers?  Where is the lethal/half kill imperial tomb type area we had long ago?

Where is our monster factions that we were told was coming back years ago?

You should rehash the faction book and the talismans we were able to make with that system, and focus on an end game farm system for upgraded talismans.  Why can we have multiple end game zones for dif party types, different things to farm and upgrade, all for just playing.

It gets old logging in and going to the same place for 20 hours a day.  It’d be nice if we could farm something to break up the grind.  Not everything should be pay walls.

A dagger’s bread and butter is to maintain a status effect on their target based on shadow chase or bluff landing. ToI is completely immune to status effects, lethal, half kill, and there is a new buff on them saying they resist blows.  Why not resist bows or slashers or cutters?  Why just what a dagger needs to be successful?

 

In Closing

I have given long, well written posts in the past.  Nothing was done with them.

The gear access is is truly the root cause of our regions issues.

If you want your product to be better, listen to our suggestions.  I have watched so many people quit over the last year its insane.

JP export region has all gear on everyone. Core and Ru has insanely cheap prices.  We get the watered down expensive region that has no f2p coin store.

Some good marketing, proper price structure for the economies you service (not everyone who plays this makes 500 grand a year) would do Lineage 2 wonders.

I get you need to make money. You don’t have to financially gouge you player base unapologetically in the process.

Paid events are typically bad. Loot boxes are bad. People drop $500 USD and get nothing of value, barely topping out at a $200-$250 return.  This makes people not spend or quit.  If you insist on keeping the same types of events and pay models, you have to understand that your pay model is killing the active players from existing. Make prices 1/10 or even 1/5 of their current price and see how many new players spend and show up.

With that said, some events are nice (Slayer, Rim Kama, to name a couple). Then you have utterly insulting events like the real attack cookie craft event.  Spend 200-300 bucks for one chance at a 5% click? In Korea, they get real attack cookies like candy, by the 1000s.  Of course they can make those clicks feasibly.  For us, its price gouging.  We see this, were not dumb.

Why are half the dragons still shut off?

Why do no mobs or raids drop anything we need?

Your current system starves players of all basic items needed to even be semi successful in game.  No one is going to get hooked if they speed to 105 in a week on freebie gear, then get hit with the reality that they must spend a few grand to even kill a mob to progress.  This screams broken product that is mismanaged, not a healthy MMO that entices new players to come.

 

Hero Coin

This is supposed to be a premium currency, and you still advertise it as a bonus perk for all purchases.  However, the items in the Hero Coin store are completely obsolete, and have been for multiple years.

All items in game should be available via Hero Coin for a standard, basic, non insane price, even when not on an event.  This is a premium currency, make it be a premium currency again.

 

Here are some examples:

Dragon Claw : 100 Hero Coin

Elcyum : 1 Hero Coin

30 Day Advanced Mammon Talismans : 50 Hero Coin (Any Type)

Dark/Bloody Armor Stones : 5 Hero Coin

Events should allow cheaper and easier access to stuff. But your premium currency for your ultimate spenders should not be forgotten and abandoned.

 

Red Libra Changes

Stone of destiny was an amazing addition. However, there is no way for someone with a $10,000+ USD Dragon Wep to swap that weapon if they want to change class, basically eliminating one of your top paying customers from every swapping their class.  This needs to be majorly re-thought out, as its pushing someone like me to quit instead of reroll due to how bad my class has been balanced against.

At libra, we should be able to pay and swap any stage dragon wep for the same stage, but dif wep type.  You CANNOT lock this to the type of dragon it is (vala to vala for example) because no all dragon weps offer all weapons.

 

PvP Balance

There is no balance in end game PvP. Tyr’s, Yuls and now DK’s own everything in mass PvP and Olympiad.  The game has many classes (Dagger, Summoner specifically) which have been forgotten and obsoleted due to how the game has evolved.

The game is all about non target AoE’s, Celestial, UD, Steel Mind, Range.  There is no point to try and pvp on a dagger anymore as every single class does the 1 shot better, has way more HP, Pdef, damage mitigation skills, and DPS.

In Olympiad, there are talismans that cancel hide.  Dagger is the only class an item like this exists for, why?  A sayha seer’s hide is nack up instantly, so it isn’t a counter to them.  Where is the cancel Guts, Cancel Rage, Cancel UD talismans to balance this overpowered item?

Yul has flair, jump, range, aoe, 1 shot of multiple targets at once.  Why doesn’t a dagger have any of this?  A yul is now an aoe range dagger, and the dagger is completely obsolete.

I would reroll, but I cant, because of the above mentioned red libra dragon wep issue.

To help dagger, the following needs done:

·       Barrage of Nails needs skill power increased to match other stabs.

·       While in hide, we should be immune to all damage to allow movement in mass pvp

·       Cooldown on hide should be lower

·       Ultimate Evasion needs s major boost (skill evasion, mdef, some type of dmg mitigation)

·       Counter Stance should be 100%, not 80%.

Also, once you enacted the 90% crit cap, this never should have been applied to a dagger. When we don’t crit, we do 0 damage.  This had a massively negative affect on our pvp viability.  We have so many missed stabs now, and I maxed out skill crit rate and it still sucks.

Its funny, a dagger is supposed to 1 shot people, but all it does is stab 5x on the rear of a person in 1v1, they pop shirt celest, no tsarget, and 1 non target aoe and you’re dead.

Fantastic post. A lot of great ideas that I haven't heard before. As a fellow dagger user, the hide idea is a fantastic idea for pvp assuming getting hit does not take you out of hide. Maybe it should be 100% evasion to p/m.skills. I haven't really thought this through though.

I agree with all said.

Majority of community is not ready for changes that come with all new updates. Simply we miss lot gear to be competitive.

I not want to repeat what was said, but have some points. Lack of dmg comes with lack of gear, but also how about basic skills? How many 110-115 players have all basic skills enchanted to +20? You made codexes rare and expensive, nonsense. Also homunculus, is not a big help but it is and you again made it difficult. Top homunculuss born is rare now as dinosaurus. We also lack several items needed to made better gears such as artifact fragments. You intorduce new artifacts that are made by 5x300 fragments artifacts. What the hell is it? After 8 years I have not even 1x 300. If fragments occurs, prices are high. 

I am tank, i have also problem even with heal survive after update. Without rose is problematic. Also tanks are forgotten. We need more abilities to survive and to keep party alive. UD are joke, specially on olympiad and PvP. Defensive items missing or are super expensive. Still I miss option to change old R99 shield to R110 same way as armors. Also we need our cubics to be toggle skills. 

Game lost fun part, only same boring grind. RPG part missing. Events should be more fun. Why you not invest a little money and made thematic event quests or story lines. Not only go kill boss or collect items by grinding. 

I agree hero coins need deep change. Also prestige packs with useless Freya vital rune. With rune or without vitality drop in speed of light. 

Also ranking system, give more bonusses for everyone.

Daily quest chest reward shoul be upgraded. So poor adena for major time and no proper drops is pathetic.

average server level im going to take a stab here   (all players levels added up divided by server population) is what 111?  we get 3 times a year  what we call an XP event ( either perma vit or server boost) rarely both and its level stricted to 110 or under , so if average level is 111   we get F all. those 111+ cant go deththrone unless in a full stacked party or leech off stacked party areas and will still die if they have to afk it due to 4am entry times why hasnt the perma vit level restriction been increase to reflect server player base average , people want to level up their main or dual not make server bots or mentee coins batterys 

why is DT / oly/ COC/ SOS  at fixed time entrys?  what cant they be accessed any time and be  time limited just like instance zones that port u out once ur time limit expires / entry acess limits reach max? you sure want to take international real money  but limit everything to a server  specific time zone (time to keep up with ever changing world)

enchant rates / compound rates  thery dont seem right either   you know how percentages work    how come they dont marry up with the % u list in enchant/compound UI  and why  luc items added dont seem to effect  the multipler bonus correctly (  some GM testing like in old days showing results  would be appriciated by all)  eg  10 compounds with 50%  shouldnt result in 1 succeeding and 9 failing ,if u dont want the success rate that high ,lower it but be honest with % rate so it truelly reflects that %

whats happened to factions allow players in clans to  get a boost  if they do 20 clan quests after 1 day or 3  eg    till next maintainance   rune that give 150 ele to att/def to mitigate  /offset npc damage  or add new clan quests  to gets these boosts  some how  ( i posted bout factions b4  just ignored like  50% post ..thats ncwest 50%  too  so relistically  99% )

hero coin rewards  ok alot will say they dont care and that it dont effect them but like hy per said  its a premium reward for loyalty  of spending  money on server and the rewards in store dont reflect current player levels , one thing id like to see changed to reduce RMT  since eula isnt enforced on this subject   gifting should not  give hero coin to reciever only the original purchaser  that way only gamecards and creditcards purchases only get hero coins not adena farmers '( yes i know this wont sit right with top 10% ers of server )but rules are rules.. 

new update  was overall good  alot got increase skill levels  more runestones costs (less runestone drops) however with increased skill powers  damage seemed to be reduced , i noticed on sonic star i increase skill level and skill cooldown increased 4 secs  ( so worse off in my opinion)  CD  vs skill power  was more a nerf than a gain 

really happy with the keep previous aug skill unless u accepted it  

alot top player have GOD jewels why cant they recieve augs yet ? every other jewel does .

need more ways to get  codexes for skill enchanting  currently 3 ways   messiah quest (1 off) /oly  / event, and event not happen often   

rates of obtaining  aden chest and then the rates of obtaining items within  aden chest ( gamble within a gamble) u already nerf adena drops /item drops from npc  supposedly to reduce botting.. .then it was for server inflation  but how does one upgrade out of exalted if all the miserable adena they make is used on shots to kill the mob? u want this server to boom again then look at the problems u created ... do u think a 3 year old toon wants to be stuck at 110 for next 3 years  theyll quit  games are played for fun and relaxation

 and when u do events that give reward out  like curent lucky coin event , for transparrancy   name all winners regardless on limits   (eg only 115 kamaloka event named winner,105/110 arent) so people see if same toons winning or their boxes or infact there was a winner within that hour  at all etc )

i spend  reasonable amount on ncoin if event appeals to me and i think i have a fair chance to make something   but do i have faith in this gamecompany and would i recommend them  to a friend?  i leave that to ur imagination , i like most are stuck here cos i like the game style  even if its 18 years outdated  and ive invested alot...  over a long period of gametime  ,u have to ask yourselves this  why are new players and toons under 3 years here still staying or willing to stay if everything is a paywall for them. easier for them to get out before they are invested

This time I will not write feedback as people already wrote all what I would like to say... but... 

I want to say to NCFAIL team that in order not to be ignored by all L2 community or even worse send to xxx next time you come with similar survey THREE things should (must) happen this time:

First, before closing this topic you summarize key takeaways of all posts here, like A B C D, etc.  So people can see that they were heard and understood correctly  

Second, you give a target date by which we can hear a feedback from you an A B C D. and if you don't meet the deadline you tell us the reasons why you are behind  and a new deadline, so people are informed on the progress

Third, on each of the points A B C D you communicate the Dev Team decision: what can be done and what cannot be done and why

The above can restore some confidence in NCFAIL team but if you drop the topic in nowhere like a previous time you would just do the opposite from your intentions and more people will leave the game

OK Here's my feedback on the update.

It's another broken update. The updates are balanced on the Korean playerbase (I assume). We are nowhere near the Korean playerbase in terms of equipment. Your financial model of hunting whales is broken. You price gouge your player base (18 year old game demands 8000 USD/EUR per character and per class (because of course forgotten skills are class not character bound)to learn forgotten skills is laughable). 18 year old game demanding a player spends 10s of thousands of USD/EUR just to be able to progress is also laughable. You MUST introduce the Einhasad shop, with reasonable prices, and give people access to the means to progress in game at a reasonable cost. You 've been trying the let's  force them to pay exorbitant prices on gamble events for everything model and it has failed. Whales won't save you if what happens now keeps happening. What is happening? Simple. Nobody plays anymore outside of exp events. In time people will just forget to login, and with that the whales that sustain your income will stop logging in.

The game economy is completely destroyed, and has been for months. You constantly starve mid level players of ways to earn equipment to progress, unless they are willing to drop 10s of thousands of dollars on your random loot boxes. Yes I understand you have to make money and nothing is free in this world, but it's absolutely ridiculous to expect people to spend new car levels of money just to play.

In terms of the practicalities of the update. It's a fail. Monsters were rebalanced (to take into account the equipment of the average Korean player). What that translates into in our territory is a choice. You can continue to exp in the same area you used to exp before the update, but you need a full party to do what you were doing solo. You can drop down to mobs that are one level from turning light blue, or you can spend 10s of thousands of USD/EUR to get 3-4 upgrades that maybe will allow you to do what you were doing before the update with 3 man party instead of full party. NOBODY likes moving backwards in a game.  If you don't understand that simple thing, you shouldn't be in the game industry.

If you can't balance the game for the equipment the average player in this territory has, you need to provide access to the cheap upgrades the other territories have. Doing neither just breaks the game. You are doing neither.

Hi,i dont know but all cry and said yul ,yul is strong etc....but think in the past year only yul get nerfed (skills and crit rate)...tyr are op and what about that new class?..etc..

The update was good only for party thing in rest is the same problem .In general only in our zone they close our acces to items (on events you get 80% buffs) and i think they know that.

THE BIG PROBLEM-HARD TO GET ITEMS FROM EVENTS TO ADVANCE...

Also, once you enacted the 90% crit cap, this never should have been applied to a dagger. When we don’t crit, we do 0 damage.  This had a massively negative affect on our pvp viability.  We have so many missed stabs now, and I maxed out skill crit rate and it still sucks.

Its funny, a dagger is supposed to 1 shot people, but all it does is stab 5x on the rear of a person in 1v1, they pop shirt celest, no tsarget, and 1 non target aoe and you’re dead.

An eviscerator can run around with perma steel mind, basically being immune to everything for long periods of time, with only 10-15s windows of being able to die, all while 1 shotting anything it touches. 

How is a dagger more broken than that?  Yep, this is balanced.

And don’t get me started on the Death Knight.  Every single player agrees this is a broken, unbalanced class that you gave every cool skill to.  But yet this update, you just boost it.  A 110 DK in mid gear can 1 shot an end game toon in end game gear.  Absolutely broken.  Why does a tank need all the best skills from a yul/tyr/eviscerator all at once?  Do the developers even play this game?

I don’t have a problem with the tactile playstyle of dagger. It is fun and I truly love it. But the game is so unbalanced in PvP it isn’t even fun anymore.

 

Hunting Zones

I do believe the true issue facing us is the gear issues I referenced above and pay wall issues. However, the hunting zones are poorly thought out and just boring at times.

You need zones that cater to specific types of classes. Where is the old Fields of Silence that resisted everything except fists and daggers?  Where is the lethal/half kill imperial tomb type area we had long ago?

Where is our monster factions that we were told was coming back years ago?

You should rehash the faction book and the talismans we were able to make with that system, and focus on an end game farm system for upgraded talismans.  Why can we have multiple end game zones for dif party types, different things to farm and upgrade, all for just playing.

It gets old logging in and going to the same place for 20 hours a day.  It’d be nice if we could farm something to break up the grind.  Not everything should be pay walls.

A dagger’s bread and butter is to maintain a status effect on their target based on shadow chase or bluff landing. ToI is completely immune to status effects, lethal, half kill, and there is a new buff on them saying they resist blows.  Why not resist bows or slashers or cutters?  Why just what a dagger needs to be successful?

 

In Closing

I have given long, well written posts in the past.  Nothing was done with them.

The gear access is is truly the root cause of our regions issues.

If you want your product to be better, listen to our suggestions.  I have watched so many people quit over the last year its insane.

JP export region has all gear on everyone. Core and Ru has insanely cheap prices.  We get the watered down expensive region that has no f2p coin store.

Some good marketing, proper price structure for the economies you service (not everyone who plays this makes 500 grand a year) would do Lineage 2 wonders.

it would be appreciated if something xp/adena oriented was rewarded to those that played with hands and not afk macro bot

like some areas in game or instances that are designed to have to play with hands, nothing special...with highest reward.

Lately with every update monsters are boosted, not just a little bit, but you boost them so much that most of the server starts to suffer at already zones, where people felt comfortable xping.

Maybe you should Introduce new zones or Revamp some of the beautiful older zones, which are being unused !!!! 

What is the logic to mock the current player base ? If you boost monsters, let people have for free the required gear to carry on, do not change monster stats where people already play that much! 

Do you even follow the itemization on the server, how come 1 player is paying you having somekind of fun, you update the  game version and after that that player has no chance in the same zone! 

1st - Lower the price of Ncoin - 8000 ncoin should cost 20$

2nd - Bring back the older zone monster stats.

3rd - Revamp the NCstore, add all items to be availabe all year round,  add all appearances + new MIROtansactions for fun stuff, DO NOT SELL MORE POWER stop it. Let people get to a certain level of gear and HAVE FUN.

4rth - BOOST the PARTY play,  introduce more party quests, BRING BACK FACTIONS - with only party zones inside the faction areas. Monsters should be same as Varka/Ketra stats and higher zones like Sea of Spores. All Faction quests should give consuables and worthy stuff - NON TRADABLE so you do not see only boxed parties there.

5th - Bring back old instances - adjust the monsters inside with VARKA/KETRA stats and in some rooms or mobs apprearing with Sea of Spores stats. Quests should give consumables and goodies NON TRADABLE!!!! 

6th - Clan Penalty if a member leaves the clan should be 5 days! 

7th - BRING BACK THE OLD PK SYSTEM, WHERE BULLIES AND PSYCHOS can drop their items, FIX THE PROBLEM WHERE PPL COULD FORCE ONE TO PK AND LATER KILL AND DROP HIS ITEMS - YOU ARE A CORPORATION AND YOU COULT NOT FIX THAT PROBLEM ! HOW COME?

8th - HEALERS / ISS / TANK /  should be able to farm adena and xp if they choose to play solo and not in pt.

9th - all server activities ON NAIA SHOULD START EARLIER, 99% OF THE PLAYERS I KNOW and i played with for 15 years cant participate,  make activites SHORTER, let more active ppl to be able to come play and later carry on.

10th - REMOVE the one shot in pvp,  lower the AOE DMG in PVP - main target gets full dmg, target in AOE range get 5% only.

fix the game STOP SELLING POWER ALL THE TIME AND TAKE CARE OF THE CURRENT SITUATION

Hunting zones became party type. Most of them are okay. I count "okay", if middle characters trio stays alive.

1. To players:

I despise ya'll who pays more than 100 bucks monthly for this game (some times myself including). You're destroying the balance and all your feedback will never come true because of that. And I hate nc(soft/west) who incites for. There are ways do not do like this. 

Remember, there is no point to change something, if all rolls "as intended".

No fresh blood,  no action.  Old people and old topics only. 

Glade to see that folks are starting to realise  something I posted years ago.

2. To developers:

If you do not care about regional gameplay,  DO NOT F.. "ADJUST" CURRENT LOCATIONS [already told ya here]. Rebalance old ones (even with old mobs). Let people reopen and remember the world Lineage 2.

3. To administration:

Both ideas with hero coins are fair. Make them worth and non-"giftable".

I'd like to see "feedback for feedback" from the devs too.

Dethrone as deep night activities is a crap. Personally,  I will ignore it until rework.

Our export region also lacks the L-Coin store.  This would breathe life into so many players it is unreal.  Why this basic game mechanic has been left out of our region only is insulting to the entire player base.  We see the other regions, we read the official Korean news, we know what the game can be like.  We also know our region is purposely adjusted to milk cash form people.

I get you need to make money. You don’t have to financially gouge you player base unapologetically in the process.

Paid events are typically bad. Loot boxes are bad. People drop $500 USD and get nothing of value, barely topping out at a $200-$250 return.  This makes people not spend or quit.  If you insist on keeping the same types of events and pay models, you have to understand that your pay model is killing the active players from existing. Make prices 1/10 or even 1/5 of their current price and see how many new players spend and show up.

With that said, some events are nice (Slayer, Rim Kama, to name a couple). Then you have utterly insulting events like the real attack cookie craft event.  Spend 200-300 bucks for one chance at a 5% click? In Korea, they get real attack cookies like candy, by the 1000s.  Of course they can make those clicks feasibly.  For us, its price gouging.  We see this, were not dumb.

Why are half the dragons still shut off?

Why do no mobs or raids drop anything we need?

Your current system starves players of all basic items needed to even be semi successful in game.  No one is going to get hooked if they speed to 105 in a week on freebie gear, then get hit with the reality that they must spend a few grand to even kill a mob to progress.  This screams broken product that is mismanaged, not a healthy MMO that entices new players to come.

 

Hero Coin

This is supposed to be a premium currency, and you still advertise it as a bonus perk for all purchases.  However, the items in the Hero Coin store are completely obsolete, and have been for multiple years.

All items in game should be available via Hero Coin for a standard, basic, non insane price, even when not on an event.  This is a premium currency, make it be a premium currency again.

 

Here are some examples:

Dragon Claw : 100 Hero Coin

Elcyum : 1 Hero Coin

30 Day Advanced Mammon Talismans : 50 Hero Coin (Any Type)

Dark/Bloody Armor Stones : 5 Hero Coin

Dark/Bloody Wep Stone : 25 Hero Coin

Cystal of Dawn : 10 Hero Coin

Sayha Talisman Box : 2 Hero Coin

LVL 5 La Vie Box : 50 Hero Coin

+10 Normal Agathion Random : 500 Hero Coin

Kain Scrolls (Ally Types) : 25-50 hero Coin Each

Shiny Kain Scrolls : 150-250 Hero Coin Each

15-18 Cloak Scroll : 250 Hero Coin

10-15 Cloak Scroll : 100 hero Coin

 

Events should allow cheaper and easier access to stuff. But your premium currency for your ultimate spenders should not be forgotten and abandoned.

 

Red Libra Changes

Stone of destiny was an amazing addition. However, there is no way for someone with a $10,000+ USD Dragon Wep to swap that weapon if they want to change class, basically eliminating one of your top paying customers from every swapping their class.  This needs to be majorly re-thought out, as its pushing someone like me to quit instead of reroll due to how bad my class has been balanced against.

At libra, we should be able to pay and swap any stage dragon wep for the same stage, but dif wep type.  You CANNOT lock this to the type of dragon it is (vala to vala for example) because no all dragon weps offer all weapons.

 

PvP Balance

There is no balance in end game PvP. Tyr’s, Yuls and now DK’s own everything in mass PvP and Olympiad.  The game has many classes (Dagger, Summoner specifically) which have been forgotten and obsoleted due to how the game has evolved.

The game is all about non target AoE’s, Celestial, UD, Steel Mind, Range.  There is no point to try and pvp on a dagger anymore as every single class does the 1 shot better, has way more HP, Pdef, damage mitigation skills, and DPS.

In Olympiad, there are talismans that cancel hide.  Dagger is the only class an item like this exists for, why?  A sayha seer’s hide is nack up instantly, so it isn’t a counter to them.  Where is the cancel Guts, Cancel Rage, Cancel UD talismans to balance this overpowered item?

Yul has flair, jump, range, aoe, 1 shot of multiple targets at once.  Why doesn’t a dagger have any of this?  A yul is now an aoe range dagger, and the dagger is completely obsolete.

I would reroll, but I cant, because of the above mentioned red libra dragon wep issue.

To help dagger, the following needs done:

·       Barrage of Nails needs skill power increased to match other stabs.

·       While in hide, we should be immune to all damage to allow movement in mass pvp

·       Cooldown on hide should be lower

Back to topic - after all this tears, juji will make 1 good event and all mouths will be closed. 

All we have to do is stop playing stupid expensive events with dye crystal reward and show them "middle finger"  until They learn something and give to this game what Players expect.
