Help regarding weapon upgrade

Hi, returning player here! Last time I played you could upgrade your sword of Delusion to a Samurai Long sword with Mammon and AA, is there an equivalent in Classic? Thanks!

You can get weapon varnish in the Elemental Raids and use those to upgrade a higher grade weapon +9 for a lower grade weapon +7, something like that. You can also do random craft to try and get some weapons, but that's mostly for item collections. There is no penalty on L2 Classic for using weapons of a higher grade than your level, so there isn't much reason to use B grade or lower gear. Skip to top A grade weapon, enchant safely (or with a backup) until you get to +16, and work on an S grade weapon that you wont use until you get it to +12 or higher, because the S grade weapon will take more soul shots/spirit shots to use.
