First, thank you all for being patient while we continue investigating the lag issues reported by many in our forums. Please note that providing an enjoyable game environment is our top priority.

We have been investigating the recent lag, disconnects, and login issues that are being reported. However, we are having difficulties in narrowing down the causes while it happens mainly to Eastern Europe players.

We would like to open this discussion more broadly here in the Forum and collect more information from as many players as possible. Therefore, please provide the following information to help us find the root cause of the problem:

A: Every time I go to dethrone I get randomly DC. Usually like 6 times in 2 hours. Its really bad. Outside of dethrone I get DC if I stand unactive for certain amount of time. Sometimes its very aggresive, can dc after like 2 min of not moving.

A: when I open the launcher it fails, when I enter the game it appears after a few hours "Please login again.<7>".
Especially when I leave a "Hunting Zone"

A: Sudden delays in reaction time between user action and game reaction. Eg, I click to move and it moves after 5-60 seconds. If it exceeds that 60 seconds sometimes it also Disconnects me from the server. The inventory and rest of functions work and by work I mean they open immediately so that client doesn't seem frozen. Then if the delay is less that 60 seconds, i sometimes see a "fast forward" of all the actions and moves i wanted to do.  Text and messages are working similarly , but not with such delay. While I experience this kind of lag, on another client, I can see NO lag at all and everything is normal. Yesterday, my main client was lag free and the two clients in teh background were laggy with the similar problems and disconnections. Also, most of the times I get random disconnects on one or two of my clients, while the rest (1 or 2) remain logged.

A: No solutions worked as the issue seems to be totally randomized and there is no way to troubleshoot. I tried, file repair, restarting PC, router, restarting clients etc. The only thing i didnt try is the resolution settings of the game but you will be more knowledgeable to say if some image settings are causing this issues

one 1 computer i cannot login. support say is from lag..but 2 computers are working , 1 is not working. reinstaled windows and still the same

A:  All the time, but worse with higher player density (weekends, for example).

A: Extreme lag in player dense areas, to include unwanted disconnections.  I cannot stay connected for more than a few hours without disconnect.

A: Intermittent, but it is so often and lasts for that long that you can call it almost continuous.

A: The intense lag starts at around 5am PST and lasts until 3pm PST. Of course there are some periods of lag-free gaming, but it is a rare thing to happen.

A: First thing I would like to mention, these lags started on Tuesday, 1st of November 2022. So it is already 15 full days of this problem.
> The problems that I am experiencing are the following:
1. There are many random disconnects throughout the day and night.
2. When I am trying to login, it can take even more 10 tries so I can finally login and run the client. Most times, after I provide my e-mail and password on the launcher, either I get the message "Failed to log in. Please try again later. (0)" or else, it takes me to the next step asking for the verification code, but after I give the verification code, then I get redirected back to asking me again for my e-mail and password.
3. The lag in town is not a big problem, my characters can move quite normally. But still even there, this lag does't make the game enjoyable at all.
4. The lag in normal hunting areas is more intense, with huge lag spikes every now and then, which may lead to death or a disconnect.
5. Now, lets move to the real big problem: the timed zones. Most days, and mostly during the hours mentioned on the question above, the lag is huge. As a result, most times, I cannot even move at all when I enter any timed zone. It takes many minutes to load the NPC's, even more to show players or mobs, the exit button of the timed zone may take even more than 5 minutes to actually take me out of the timed zone, restarting the game also not responding for many minutes too.
> As a result, for a little bit more than 2 weeks now, I cannot farm any timed zones within the hours mentioned above, which is from noon until after midnight in my country. And since exit button and restart take forever to work, I end up losing so much time in the timed zones, time that I do not get back of course.
> Here is a most recent example: when I logged in today, after the server came back up, I entered Crisis, for 30 minutes the game was running almost okay, but then there was a huge lag spike, I died, and then died again cuz of the continuous lag that I started having. I restarted the game to exit the timed zone, my character was moving decently in town, so I tried to enter crisis again. I had 13 minutes left, as the timer showed. It took 2-3 minutes to port me to the 115 area, where I could not move at all or see any NPC, mobs, or players. I was trying the exit button and restart for more than 5 minutes until the exit button finally worked. It teleported me back to Heine town, where I could see no NPC's, no players, and worse thing... The timer of Crisis was still counted down, and when it showed 2 minutes, I got disconnected.
So, I lost more than 10 minutes in the instance, just trying to port out.
> Also, I am buying prestige rune and destiny pack every single month, so that I am able to farm efficiently, especially timed zones. Which I cannot do for 15 days now, half of the time of my paid runes.

A: Got table You have been disconected <7> , when trying log back, got error code 3325 (launcher was active). Its not regular, like 1x or 5x a day.

A: Lag/delay, you click and your char don't move. You write to someone but you can't see anything on your side, still the person on other side can see what you wrote. Same for skills/movement. You can keep farming like there's no lag, but on your screen your char is frozen, then all of a sudden it gets back to normal. Happens a lot in Field of Crisis.
