It is pretty clear that all top factors from all servers will be starting on the NA Classic server at launch. Many most likely will only stick around for the first 6 to 12 months, but those first few months are going to be intense. For the first time since Lionna, Erica, and Devianne server transfers were allowed to Bartz (where we saw LEaD/Nova/Enmity/TD all fight each other), we are going to be seeing a true convergence of Lineage 2 power clans. The next logical question is simple... Who will come out on top? We have top North American clans MS and Nova backed up with their high credit score and thicc wallets and then we have top Russian clans RoA and RMT who consider anything less than 16 hours a day as "casual". North American clans who historically have been enemies, may have to band together to fight these newcomers. This is an exciting time for Lineage 2. What's everyone's thoughts? Even they open a classic it will be with same company politic...very slow progress, no drop, all good items in Ncstore to gamble. The new classic will have the same fate as Zaken... Some people hated goddess of destruction so much they quit. Current players in big clans wont go to classic because of the time surrounding the grind. ( If the bot issue is fixed... HAHAHA ) You're looking at many South Americans and Canadas playing. Onto the blocked countries, those countries already are playing with something to hide their IPs. Another thing is what Classic would we get?? First form of Classic is awesome but starting at a later update would make the server to fast growing and the pvp boring. Yes, the best part of classic server is the pvp. As everyone is forced into very few areas to xp, Random PVP breaks out and PK fests happen all the time. There are going to be a million and one private server noobs on start. As a side note, this is really the last chance Nova and MS would have to be relevant again in the main western Lineage 2 crowd. They were no-shows on Skelth (Nova tried briefly but couldn't handle the pvp), they were no-shows on new Blah. And yes I realize they are currently on Chronos, but what is stopping them from competing on a more competitive server for a few months or a year? Everybody you see on the screenshot was starting from zero on July 30, when Bloody was opened to the public. The equipment was all purchased with real money or Mammon Keys, a kind of substitute currency, from the Bloody-specific L2Store. It almost sounds like they modeled it after most private servers, being that you can choose to either pay real money for gear or trade in game currency for it. Not necessarily a bad thing but the big downside to it you always see is people spend the money and get bored due to lack or progression. I wonder if that will be the case here? Personally I'll come back to play classic when it releases. I've never cared too much for GoD although I had my share of fun early on. I mainly hate that as the game sits now you can only participate in events by buying items from the L2store(from what I've seen). Event items from farming seem non-existent. My first reaction was also "That's like a private server!". But what you must keep in mind is that Bloody is basically the same game as the regular version of Lineage 2. How would something like a bloody server effect current server populations on the current Chronos/Naia.
