We are starved for gear on this server and that is a direct correlation between a complete lack of understanding the basic game mechanics from NC Soft west, and a desire to drive up prices so they can charge more for items. So, the newest update in Korea just dropped stage 4 Dragon weapons. Now, here is the requirement to make a stage 4 dragon weapon: 240 dragon claws Dragon's Essence x30 Solaris 4,337 400 Lunaria Adena 96,000,000, This is of course to UPGRADE a stage 3. Now where do you get these items? By crushing OTHER dragon weapons. Level 1 99,999 crystals 200 Lunaria 150 Solaris Step 2 99,999 crystals 300 Lunaria 250 Solaris Step 3 99,999 crystals 400 Lunaria Solaris 350 So if we do that math here, you would need to crush 28 stage 1 weapons, at lets say 500b each, you're looking at 14 trillion adena for just the Lunaria for an upgrade. Not bad right? of course that's if you can even find 28 stage 1 dragon weapons. You COULD always go the easier route and crush 13 Stage 3 Dragon weapons.... The point here isn't that someone won't do it, because andouille will tell everyone he is 100% legit, then somehow come up with 28 stage 1 DW's. The point here is the server is already gear starved for the normal players, adding a stage 4 that will inevitably lead to 5-10 people destroying all the gear on the server to get theirs will be devastating and make an already MASSIVE gear gap, unimaginable. Id offer some advice on what NC Soft West could do to make this better, but I think it's pretty clear, 1. They don't care and 2. They don't read forums. So, just an informative post everyone... look forward to all the stage 1 weapons being deleted from the server!! WOOT!!! SUCH A FUN AND WELL MANAGED GAME!!! YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT!!! mixa Posted May 4, 2023 Share Posted May 4, 2023 I'm pretty sure they will add additional ingredients needed to upgrade, as must things are for the export versions.
