For EU players struggling with ping

I have personally tested these programs today (29/09/2018): Leatrix, battleping, wtfast, outfox. I live in UK.

Here are results:

Worst: Outfox - forces to reigister for free trial, does not support Lineage 2 therefore is useless.

Bad: Leatrix - totally free which could justify using it, has a slight improvement on ping, but still quite unplayable for intense pvp's

Good: battleping - works, pushes ping down to 109ms (tested Texas Beta server only), having weird glitches here and there, possibly due to beta server, needs more testing, cheaper option than wtfast.

Playable: Wtfast - exceeded my expectations by having a full support to Lineage 2, classic included, ping goes down to 109-110ms, game feels reasonably responsive. Costs the most to run.

Leatrix ( Free ) + One of the other programs ( battleping/wtfast/exitlag/noping) is the best option.

For me:

Base ping: 260ms from Australia to Texas.
WTFast: 180ms
BattlePing: 220ms
BattlePing + Leatrix: 202ms

Given the  price of WTFast ($9.99US/Month) im going with BattlePing ($5.45US) :D

Cheers,

WTFast is fuking expensive :/

Check also Mudfish, and compare. Mudfish is cheapest one, ppl are playing 3 month for those 3 USD  https://mudfish.net/

I tried Mudfish.. About 230ms and no change with Leatrix.
Even with the Mudfish lower ping (compared to my normal one), it felt quite unresponsive. I did read it would cost me next to nothing though.. But everyone will have different results based on their location so nothing is definitive!

When I take auto select in WTfast it chooses TX19 in Texas. My ping goes from around 190 to 135 ish. It doesn't sound like much but the responsiveness in game is so improved. Skills feel instant and when i do zig zag moves it feels responsive. Without WTfast it feels unresponsive at times in comparison.

WTFast is good but expensive :) Battle ping offer the same functionality for 5 Euro/month.

Thanks ill try that also then :)

Edit: I just tried Battle ping and it does have a slightly higher ping, but the game still feels responsive. So that might be the way to go. 10Euro/month is a bit steep for WTfast.
