Discussion: Topaz Jewel

Since 2014 we have this jewel, we have people who like it and others who hate it, talking about it is Overpower, so I will give an opinion, I would like you to give yours.

Topaz is notoriously for support classes, with no gross damage like ISS, Healer (and maybe Knight). For example, in 2 minutes the ISS applies 40k damage with Topaz, any DD in this same period has already applied more than 150 ~ 200k damage, another important point that classes that have a lot of HP basically do not suffer for Topaz, I quote ISS, Healer, Kight or anyone who focuses on more HP.

But classes that have little HP 30K, for example, which is common when some classes focus pure damage. These die between three to four Topaz hits (which takes at least 2 minutes, due to the 30s interval), this range and fixed can not be reduced or increased. Also does not hit anyone who uses disparition or skills to target.

But Topaz deals damage to the enemy even if it is petrified or with any kind of magic immunity, if by sleeping the target takes damage and does not wake up, the ISS transform that makes the enemy turn into a frog, by default loses the effect when enemy takes damage, however he keeps in the shape of the frog when receiving Topaz damage. The dao also goes straight into the target's life, transferring Pain Pain (I did not test with Mana shield, but should skip and go straight to HP). Great to settle opponents with "Undy will".

But we have other jewels, which are very strong, especially together.

I don't know if removing it is  a good idea strictly because like u pointed some support classes don't deal dmg but u have some mistakes in your post:

For example othel class can avoid topaz due to some evasion skills.

Tank used to had the UD in witch u did 100 dmg with topaz(dunno if is like that afther update)

And top players have fix dmg resistance that lowers topaz dmg.

And for the pure dmg clases that have 30 k hp is just cause they chose to go full dmg SA,skills and all rather than put some HP, if u are that strong then do dmg if no go ballance your skills//hp//SA.

This is rather too late to remove (will make huge spenders who made lvl 5 or 6 jewels cry a river) + this is no coincidence that ncwest under neutron is playing dumb that topaz was already included in the overall damage computation inside oly which is obviously not this was made to make sure that players who wants to play oly will have no choice but to spend $$$ in order to be at least competitive :) Wait for dragon weapons to be release in ncstore that's gonna be fun :D

HAH! 

All Broaches should be removed, its a gap facilitator. Along with the shiny shirts, the cloaks, and the dragon weps etc. This is only from a game design perspective though, as these things discourage playing the game over simply spending cash to progress. To say nothing to the fact that it also vicariously implies that NC feels like if you do not have a disposable income and lack of good sense, then you should not be progressing in this game.

Você recebe danos refletidos por uma topázio?

O atual PvP Cloak também corrigiu o dano, isso funciona do jeito que faz Topaz?

Too late for that, when we were telling that topaz is a broken item, nobody gave a bull, now 3 years later and after so many la vie jewel boxes sold, this item cannot be removed, there it no dev team to actually do anything.

Just get used to what it is and move on (or quit).

Basta acostumar-se com o que é e seguir em frente (ou sair).

Archer has Half-Kill, can kill in 3 hits any, ignoring defense, dagger also has, then we already have 2 classes of extremely high damage that exceeds 200k of damage in 2 minutes and ignore defense, Mag when raise ignores the defense, etc. . There is no way to complain about this jewel.

It's always the same modus operandi: NC release some potentially community/game wrecker item in L2store > ppl jump on it like mad starving cows > make videos promoting how "fun and easy" is to achieve top enchantment/item even if they spend $$ worth of a vacation trip/medium car on it > after the first pvp/siege/oly they realise how handless and noob they still r and that item alone means sh*t yet to their crap gameplay > they cry on forum how unfair this system/items r although they'r still sitting on their top L2store cashed up ones > "pretend" to quit. Now rinse and repeat for every item/big L2store promo cycle and voilà, we have the summit of nowadays L2 player mindset.

Only 1 thing is immutable in this case above: there always will be sheeps no matter how absurd, nonsensical or unworldy the odds are, for sure.
