NCWest is doing such a grade JOB with this server that you need a Classic one to have the all pack. Bellagio Las Vegas Casino and many other's entertaining business company also closed for Holidays, They felt that need a brake to relax with family.

We need real L2 back for the ppl who wants it, why is it so many ppl from chronos complaining against it? that is the real question...

That's because Lineage 2 Classic is already live in several territories and the people from Chronos took the time to read up on the reality of Classic - all information is out there on the internet - whereas the private server players are living in a fantasy world, dreaming of things they will never get.

ChuckSteak is right in a very literal sense: it is one and the same man (Nam Taek-rim) who is managing both regular Lineage 2 and Classic, in both the domestic and overseas versions. In Classic you will get the same non-existing drops and the same merciless milking as in the regular version of Lineage 2.

That being said, if you feel an overwhelming urge to finance the development of mobile games (that's where all your contributions are going to), simply play Lineage 2 Classic on Skelth. It's in English and the staff actually knows what they are doing:

People in NA and SA cant play Classic on Skelth as part of their leasing agreement blocks those players.

Fake news again. This is simply not true. Gabe, who is from the USA, has been playing on Skelth. Send him a PM and he will explain to you how he did it. If he is afk, Laby from Rochand will always help.

Its crazy the amount of people who dream of "classic" as in updated graphics, but with the gear/items/mobs of the former years of lineage with some mechanics from now, but before the need for all the pay2win gear. I know there are hundreds, if not thousands who would play that type of server in official capacity and I dont understand why NcSoft just decided not to capitalize on it.... It almost seems like they are only interested in no effort milking, rather than taking revenue from multiple sources. Id love to know how their accountant/business planner stays employed....

Their move to mobile games means they will just be another stupid mobile mmo in the masses, to which people change what they play almost as often as their underwear.

And you think hundreds or thousands of players make the effort needed to set this thing up worthwhile, considering the biggest chunck of these players will simply hop over from existing Servers thus not generating many real new customers. That's why I don't want a Classic Server.

Better merge Naia/Freya or merge all three servers into one.

Honestly not sure if it will better/worse the normal servers, but many private servers and people who fled to Skelth/EU/etc would return. I think it would be a success if it is as I said. If it is classic that has been launched in other regions, then no, it will be a failure.

Merging all servers (down to 2) and releasing a new server (3) sometime in the near future, would make the most sense if they wanted to bring in any new blood...

(Merging to less than 2, will eliminate dim siege, raid, etc) and totally eliminate their server transfers process, so they would lose revenue there I think.

NCsoft's Chief Strategy Officer (who also happens to be our Territory Manager) used to work for SK Telecom and might have a certain bias towards mobile telephones:
https://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/윤송이

However that may be, the numbers say that her decision for the transformation of NCsoft into a mobile game provider was absolutely right. Check the earnings report for the 3rd fiscal quarter 2017:
http://boards.rochand.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=1974&start=130#p37375
Mobile games, mainly Lineage M (the mobile version of Lineage 1) and the royalties from Lineage 2 Revolution, brought NCsoft a gross revenue of 550 million US dollars. During the same time the PC version of Lineage 1 generated 35 million dollars, Blade&Soul (very popular in China) 38 million, Lineage 2 15 million, Aion 10 million and Guild Wars 20 million dollars. So they do have multiple sources of revenue, but the cash from two mobile games beats five PC-based games together by a factor of 4. With such numbers it would be irresponsible and could not be justified in front of the shareholders if NCsoft did not invest into the development of more and more mobile games.

Wrong.........

Innova said it doesn't have the rights for NA and SA players.  You have to hide your IP with some kind of service to do so.  If they catch you your account gets blocked.  Go try it out and than tell me.  Playing any other server is fine but EU Classic.  Simple as that

It'd be more successful than Naia or Freya is...

No, it wouldn't. Because l2 classic is all about the old times, when L2 required patience and skills, not a credit card. do you seriously believe today's NC West could handle taking care of a server without ruining it like they ruined this game with all their pay to win shit? I don't think so. If NC West ever touches L2 classic, it would be a major bleep up.
