This L2 classic feels easier than expacted...

For those old school L2 player came back and play ...to me it seems this L2 classic is not hardcore enough... Back @ 2004 when there were no daily quest , no soulshots spiritshots as rewards, no buff scroll, Skill cant learn at skill window , teleport cost money right away at lv1.....It was like hell but thats what makes it so much fun to play !! I know some people bit*h about p2w game but originally it was a p2p game anyway so its reasonable to spend 15$ a month , but now days i cant wanna waste cash & lot of time on MMO anymore.. should just enjoy the f2p and stop complaining .  Wonder if any old players still around ?? Miss my sieghardt Blaze clan buddies !!

@KABAL yeah slowly spent 3-4 hours hits 20 and done the quest.. back then is like 1 week for Lv20 , 1-2 days farm money to take boat / teleport to gludin for 1st class quest.. now days i cant spend hours or days for game anymore.. would say 10 hours game time per week now..

So basically getting to approximately 59 in Classic is equivalent to getting to 75 originally. And getting to 75 in Classic is equivalent to getting roughly 6.5 characters to 75 in original L2. Enjoy your L2!

while my adventure on EU official back these days in (2k15 december 26) i was excited i saw official lineage2 with a new chronicle made by mixing all of them , at the first point i went to forum to see whats going on and saw the EXP chart showed up there , thanks @ephy  i was hyped there will be a new grinding chronicle that brings something totally new to the game .. the first day , struggling with quests because server was crowded of people  made 26 lvls in a week (class rogue) all my gear was ngr , not even TOP ngr i have to say .. grinding outside of gludin in the bears and lizardmans cuz i wasnt able to handle the soulshots and using skills mostly because that was the real damage , people everywhere making parties for AOE , for 1by1 anywhere . the game was really hardcore these days , noone was complaining the game is so hard . had to stop play because of real life issues and 1 year later i went back , everything was the same .. adena drop/item drop/exp/sp .. 

 

What i want to say with this? there might be bugs around the files they have , such as mobs in dion giving low exp and maybe some more i dont know . But guys get on ur head , the adena drop is how it should be . This chronicle (classic) is not for solo players , its for parties and it doesnt matter they are from random players or CP's .. when u hunt with a full party the grind becames more easier and u win more in less time , while playing alone u need to use shots or u are slowly killing without them because u cant afford or u dont want to use your money just for that .

Closed beta player. NG/D was never the wall. What you remember is us being noobs fighting blood red mobs with 0 buffs. Fighting in pickup group with FINDERS KEEPERS AS THE ONLY LOOT OPTION.

C/B grade progression isn't realistically possible right now without P2W assistance schemes.

I don't think anyone right in his mind complained about exp, hell, i doubt that most people would even care that much if they decreased it.
Problem is the adena amount/spoil rates.

I started in the closed beta before the wipe. I would gladly lose the free shots and rewards if we could get the old drop rates back. I had no issue affording spell books, scrolls and shots in the beta era while leveling. Keep in mind in the beta I was completely clueless about the game (was invited via friend) and I didn't have much experience with korean MMOs then (ragnarok online being the only other). If I could go back in time and play with the knowledge I have now I would of been super rich.

The fact is that the drop (adena/spoil/item) rate is set to a fraction of what we had in beta/prelude/c1-GoD. No other classic server runs such a low drop rate.

had to get from Talking island via ship ticket cuz i only had 1-1.5k at max and tp to gludin was costing 2-3 basically the game was so hardcore that became p2w i had friends who dlvled cuz they couldnt afford d items i remember buying 300-500 soulshots cuz i barely had any money and praying for a crit was playing gustin with lots of friends most of them have stopped right now ive started playing classic with one or 2 of them i believe the basic reason l2 has fallen is that nc got greedy never punished the ppl who botted or scripted cuz they was paying them also there was never an upgrade to graphics mechanics or gameplay considering 17-18 mmorgs or other games l2 graphics and gameplay are nowhere near close from after c6 patch with ketras and stuff the game was declining and with server transfers the game was officially killed every alliance could transfer to a pve server and bot till they was 86 fully geared and ncsoft never gave 1 shit about it cuz they was paying them 30 bucks per acc thats ncsoft all for the money bleep the players

The price for establishing VIP 4 is 4000 NC Coin. That is US $50. To maintain you need to spend 1320 NC Coin. That is $16.50 to maintain monthly.

A fvking agree with u mate.

Id survive at 2004 and had survive in this server too, they just dont know how to play. Some low level repeatbl quest gave me 3200 adena, done in less than 20m. With 3 port scroll, I made 8k an hour from 20-23 for killing 60 mob per hour. 2 hit per mob = 2x spiritshot NG = 2400 adena. I still surplus 5k adena per hour without selling drop and adena drop.

Too many private server players, android players or under 18 yo kids. NOOB is a choice, not a fate, just learn what pro does. This game is open world + semi sandbox, dont trust database L2 web since its different.
