Server community and forum community: two different communities entirely

I didnt enter in the whole day into the forum. Ingame? My first nice surprise is that i encountered a player that thanked me for the thread about the quests i made (second time it happens ). Before i made pt with a dwarf who told me how hard was to find ppl who doesnt discriminate him for a  pt (how not to invite the poor stout guy), he told me "yeah, its hard to spoil but im still making adena and items, i just have to grind harder, but its not impossible at all". Funny how some ppl claim its impossible to make money or spoil in the forum, huh.

Two, or maybe three times i read in the global chat players talking about how the adena rates are horrible or how the server is gonna die. Reaction? many others vip players made them shut up telling him to quit or making fun of him. Reality? servers are still 24/7 full with ppl having the times of their lives ingame while ppl keeps whining here.

I hope ncSoft can realise this before making way too hars decisions cause of some players who dont know how to play and only know how to complain.

That's called a strawman. No one is claiming it is impossible. The facts are the drop, spoil and adena rates are all a fraction of what we had in prelude/c1 and what other classic servers have. Supposedly the other classic servers started off with the rate that we have but they quickly realized it was stupid and fixed them.

Probably because the only people with the ability to say things in global chat are those that have spent real money to become VIPs. I don't know when you get the ability to use global chat but I can't use it at 24 without being a VIP member. So your sample consists of only people who are paying real money to get an advantage over the others. They have a financial interest in keeping things at the status quo. Personally I am only VIP level 1 so I don't have any global shouts to waste on the subject. Global shout is irrelevant if you want real change.

Reality? My server (Giran) has a seen a marked drop in players online at any point (http://l2.laby.fr/status/). This is confirmed in game as the que has completely disappeared and you're now able to easily complete the sub 20 quests. We're not even a week into the game and it's already seeing a drop in players. The real drop will come in the coming weeks unless Ncsoft restores the rates to the proper level. People right now are giving Ncsoft some time to get this figured out but everyone has a limit on their patience.
