I think it still there BUT you have to last hit the mobs..

It would not have any sense if only bonus from last hit person from party counts.
In my opinion it is like this:
sum of all bonuses % in party) / number of party members
(but i could be wrong)

This is correct, same as in LIVE. The more freeloaders in pt, the less of a bonus you get.

In the stream they said that the person who does the most damage is the person who's vip bonus is counted. so if vip 0 does most damage then 0% bonus. No idea if its true but it is 100% what the ncsoft guy said in the stream when asked.

Yes i have seen that, but i am not sure if @Juji is aware of calculations that Koreans implemented there.

From my experience on Live, that's the case. During the event where we got drop runes myself as a healer and my ISS had drop runes, but the only DD tyrr did not and there was no visible difference in the drops. However, later he claimed his rune and when my runes expired he still had his and with this one rune we were getting more drops than usual or with 2 runes on a healer and an iss.

I asked a while back the same question.
But I couldn't find that post anymore.

The info was, that the drop chance is getting devided.
So, on VIP4 you get 50% more adena.
If you are in party with a non VIP, then the drop chance is devided with that character.
So both have 25% and so on....

That's the info I got back then. :3

Edit:
Found it
The was the link I got in my Thread:

So, bottom-line we have 2 different theories that both sustain having @Juji 's confirmation on:

1. Drop rate increase from VIP fully applies in a party if the person doing the most damage (and/or Last Hit TBC) even if rest of the party is not VIP. User claims that Juji said this on the stream. (Can anyone find that in YouTube?)

2. If one from a 2 players party has VIP4 with 50% item drop increase but the other has VIP0, that means item drop rate will be 25%. 4 Players in a party , 1 VIP4 - 3 VIP0 = 12.5% Item drop rate increase.

@Juji @Hime - Can you please shed some light on this? :)

Thanks!

anyone who ever did raid farming on any retail server knows you need drop rate runes on all party members  -- its obvious with 200% runes, NC did that so you can't just buy one VIP for a DD in your party and get a full benefit from drop increase, it's common sense.

I see no reason why VIP would be different, assume it dilutes if you have freeloaders in your party.  I believe that over anything said on stream, unless they said it was specifically changed for classic.

so never party most BR's or your boxes, basically.

To make the mob is your, you should hit it by 66%+ of its HP. But Im sure you have to last hit for finishing the quest. Wellcome to old MMORPG :D
