Euthanaisa
What should I main along side my buffer which will be a prophet. Looking for a good melee class to main.
Devoid
If you are restricting yourself to a melee class, then you have these options: Gladiator Destroyer Tyrant TH/AW/PW Bounty Hunter Warsmith You could opt for a tank, but that automatically implies that you are going for the CP route. Dwarven classes have their uses, either mat gathering or crafting/siege golem. They are not as effective in PvE/PvP, so you may or may not want to consider them. If this classic is anything like old Chronicle, PW is the best option from daggers, as it gets the least benefit from using skills (when fully buffed). Prophet will not be able to recharge, so if you intend to use blows, you may have to suffer some downtime or decreased efficiency periods while hunting. Gladiator is supposed to be most versatile class, so pick it if you want to be able to handle any situation without severe drawbacks. Destroyer is a fine DD+Tank class, but its primary weakness is that it is super slow. Only orc and human mystics are slower than destro, but while there are robes with speed bonuses, there aren't any heavy armors with speed bonuses. Tyrant is something like gladiator in terms of versatility, having totems to compensate its deficiencies, key difference being that it only has Light Armor Mastery. Of course, you can still use Heavy, you just won't get any extra P.Def. from passive skill(s).

I was wondering would a blade dancer work for a main alongside a pp

I was wondering would a blade dancer work for a main alongside a pp My main is a BD. It is not an ideal character for a solo to be honest. Dark elves have the lowest CON and therefore the lowest HP/Resist abilities. Now, you would be doing the highest damage amongst the tanks until 40 and also Sting/Poison are nice to have when killing monsters. However, if you are looking for an easier way to lvl, I'd recomment making a human warrior/rogue. Good luck. Ziggy
Devoid
Just to add a few points: Starting from 40, BDs start getting the party buffs instead of further defensive skills (with the exception of M.Def.) and this, long term, greatly limits their tanking potential. Of course, you will be welcome in parties, especially raid ones, but soloing will be pretty meh Nothing wrong about support class as main, though. Glamdring
BD's are fine to solo with a box, its not the fastest but if you want to be a BD go for it! If you dont care as much what you level and just want to focus on your PP archers are fun and dont need vampiric rage buff but are a bit more expencive to level i hear.
