Interesting Fact about Karma

I may be late to the party on this but last night I was able to test how to reduce your Karma.  Karma is 100% directly correlated to your experienced gained.  A 1k exp mob kill reduced my Karma by 2 per kill.  A 3k exp mob reduced my karma by 6 per kill.  Running a 40% + 20% exp buff + fruit I was able to reduce Karma by 10-11 per kill.  Took about 30 minutes to bring Karma down 1k.  Biggest take away is that I had no idea xp scrolls would help to reduce karma, pretty cool though.

Old news. You lose karma by either gaining or losing XP. Why do you think dying loses so much karma? It's because of ALL that XP that is spent when you die.

Moreover, if you reach a point where you can't delevel, dying will stop affecting your karma whatsoever.

This may be old news but I had no idea about it.  I dont think anything I read suggested using xp scrolls would increase your karma gain.  I hear people complain about receiving only 2-3 Karma per kill when I was able to gain over 10 per kill because of xp.  Also I don't think anyone else made the correlation that VIP 4 = More Karma recovery.  Its interesting for sure.

But it's still always been obvious that more xp = more karma loss.

Unless you're one of those carebear weenies that never went red.

Yes, that's why in LIVE, whenever I see someone touching MY raid bosses, I just PK them. It doesn't matter at all how many I need to PK (if they come back or call help), once the raid is dead, all karma is lost.

Karma isn't the issue, it's the PK count, which doesn't go down without the Sineater quest. It's your PK count that makes you drop items. Washing red is easy, washing PK count sucks.

Shame? If you beat the shit out of some burglar, there's no shame in that. The burglar had it coming. Same about the LIVE players, which are acting like common thieves.
