Drop items on death ?

Hey guys !

So, I've been quite careful not to die, but I did die twice already (because I was stupid  ) and noticed that I didn't drop any item on the ground like we sometimes used to in the original Lineage II ... is this an intended feature here ?

You only drop items if you have a PK count 10+.
On normal Death you don't drop anything.

I still use dying as a replacement of SoE while doing adena quest all evening. -.-

Ah ok, that's good to know !
And I like the fact that you do drop items if you're red.

But if you use dying instead of SoE, you also lose 4% XP, right ?

Yes.
But right now I try to farm as much money as possible without lvling.
So it's fine... it's a 0 sum trade.

I try to collect 500k Adena with this damn spider quest to efort a D weapon.
I can't log my warrior box to lvl me and all my friends can't log either due to that long queue.
So I kill time till my VIP3 runs out... then I'll see if that queue is fixed or if I quit the game. :3

That's not true. In L2 Classic NCWest abomination a karma player with PK count of 4(and not as stated above with 10+) or more will not drop items(as stated above), but a random item will be destroyed in his/hers inventory

Have you actually tested this "destroyed" thing?

I think that it's what NCsoft had believed they were getting from Korea before they actually tested it.

It's a while ago I read the patch notes.
They are actually not findable on the net -.-"

For sure is you don't need to worry on a normal death with no PK count

Not yet, but will as soon as i find time to complete 1st prof on my sh alt. Meanwhile maybe someone else did test it already? Anyone?
