New trailers for Lineage 2M

But you have to admit, the L2 PC vs L2 Mobile GFX comparison (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBLn5BzN-w8) really shows how bad the PC graphics cards have become. RTX 2080 Ti factory OC = ~20 FPS in town or near event raid battles (11th Cube, 13th Orc) and terrible visual fidelity back from 2001 VS casual Adreno GPU on a snapdragon SoC = 30+ FPS in NPC-overloaded towns and raid battles with supersmooth UE4 effects.

And there's the 2080 Ti FE design flaws causing repeated RMAs… Bad times for desktop hardware.

But i'm sad they made yet another mobile game, tbh I don't like those and I don't liek buying high-end smartphones to play them :(

Instead of getting the jump remaking lineage 2 classic by upgrading the game engine and introducing new game elements and areas beside the old ones......but noooo they do have to do things like this... Ripping the community apart by creating stuff like L2M, Revolution and the well known SCAM called Lineage 2 Classic. 

And well... Sorry but the shown graphics will never be..... at least not with that detail level... And if it is indeed for mobile devices....who the fook wants to play an mmo while traveling???

Don'T get me wrong. I like the idea of not giving up the lineage franchise. But NCSoft is constantly doing the wrong steps... Proven by decisions NCSoft did in the past. Resulting in a massive player base drop. :(

You would be very surprised the amount of success and money generated by L2 revolution, you would also be surprised about how massive mobile gaming is in Asians countries, it is massive everyone you see is playing some sort of mobile game... Its very sad but PC mmo genre is relatively small in 2018 

 

So it comes as no surprise the future of mmo games developed by NC soft would be mobile.. it's sad times

I tried Revolution and stopped quite fast because it was boring and not nearly as good as the real deal :P

I cant/wont take a mobile game seriously. But I'm sure some sad souls will dump their funds into this for whatever reason. Mobile games = P2W with zero shame from the developers lol. I don't get why/how people play them 'competitively'.

Quite everyone will do this. Ppl will buy some boosts then realizing that they actually get nothing but crap. It's all about a quick buck.

I wouldn't mind P2W as much, but main reason I don't dig the L2 Revolution is the auto-questing... And don't even get started with "b-but you can disable it" - sure I can, but there's no point in it since the "bot" would do exactly the same thing... When I play a game I want to play it, not just idle it.

I mean the only versions of lineage we have on pc are Lineage and Lineage 2...both over 14 years old. Of course it won't compare to something created in UE4. A UE4 pc based mmorpg Lineage game, similar to lineage 2 (not the isometric/top down type game), with a proper business model and limited micro-transactions could potentially be great. They don't want to waste time on it though because Lineage 2 Revolution mobile made more money than all ncsoft games combined, at one point.

You are talking about an ancient graphics engine not being able to utilize the capabilities of modern graphics cards. It has nothing to do with "how bad graphics cards have become," in fact, graphics cards are amazing right now. This is a game that uses a previous generation UE engine that is not designed to take advantage of what modern GPUs have to offer.

That's actually incorrect, the issue is now, what it was 14 years ago, CPU, 1 core is pegged @ 100% (8700k @ 4.8ghz), my GPU is not even 20% utilized :P
