Let's see now, I've made like 2 threads about how SUPER PVE servers have been made. Now there's another problem which makes no sense at all when 2 sides wanna fight for epics or simple Raid bosses. 
Who will win? The first CC that will hit the Boss, after that they can just keep looting rights by bringing 5 lvl chars hitting it, or just dying with boxes on it (which in Skelth was a banable reason, but dunno why, you're NCSoft, you suppose to make things better for community and I mean to fix that looting rights instead of banning people, let's say..) 
How it went? Well.. we were "fighting" for 3 hours in Core room, they lost like 2 fights and then just dying from mobs (Of course, without any penalty cause they won't lose items or even exp *Super exp scrolls*) and they were just waiting until we get bored. What we were waiting for? The 3h looting rights on enemies, then they just grouped up and killed the Core while looting rights never give up on them and it's just the start, that's just too PVE once again, people don't care of their items/exp and they dying like trashes.

it is not a bug, it is a feature, the command channel that hits the boss first has the looting rights of it, no matter who kills the boss.

Bad feature. The right should go to the party that contributed the most.

Not a bad feature no, the CC grants rights to EVERY party, not just the one that did most damage, that way everyone gets the same amount of xp/sp and prevents people that aren't supposed to pick up to get the gear.

In the past it was a problem, because people would just ninja the loot and vanish. CC rights solved that.

People nowadays want it too easy, back then we would camp epic bosses for 12-16 hours keeping enemies away using all we had available.

Keeping baium running in circle for 10-12 hours. Mass rezz throught the door/floor for example.

Now people are complaining because they get scammed, the GM shouldn't have to make a post in order to tell people to pay attention on what they are doing or that trading your gear/adena away to people you don't know.

it does, but apparently this guys keep going back and hitting the raid so they don't reset.

They lose xp, but nobody cares about xp, they can easily get that back throught all the xp scrolls and quests they put in the game.

It'd be nice to have the option in the CC.

 

Compared to that this feature seems good but compared to the ideal it doesn't. The ideal would be for the CC that deals the most damage to get the rights, yeah. The rights locking to the one that deals the first hit is repulsive. Just think of it applied to ordinary mobs. (I meant the CC that deals the most damage due to the unlikelihood of a party doing it but a lone party should be able to get the rights, yeah.)

Yea, I am not sure how easy to calculate that would be, might take a some processing power when you have 200 people in each CC hitting the same mob

lol? the same calculation is done on every mob already, you expect server to lag or something if 200 people hit same mob ? Unlikely, is pretty basic math.

no, expect it to go wrong when you have 2 or 3 CCs with 150-200 people hitting the same mob. 

Remember, the server had troubles when they increased the mob spawn rate on lowbie areas.

trouble how? they were increased for a week+ and things worked fine ?

Yeah, but that happened because of the extra mobs AND the increased capacity of the servers combined. We didn't have any problems until they raised the player count cap.

Also, increasing a variable on an action that happens anyway is a lot less CPU heavy then constantly monitoring and controlling hundreds of mobs.

its more about that lvl 1 chars can bleep up all CC Partys. They just hit the raid once and getting the loot rights and getting the drops, even when the other CC dealed 99,99% to the raid, which is against the looting rules in general that the highest dealed dmg gets the loot.

In all other classics (korea/ru/jp) its not like that and in eu it was marked as a "game mistake" and got fixed ( https://eu.4gameforum.com/threads/654640/ )

Nothing changed after the maintanance and lvl 1 chars keep taking the loot rights and even after killing rb the loot rights do not reset properly and enemy cc members can still pick up the loot...

please again look in to this, small cc stealining loot rights and just not letting it resset by hitting with lvl 1 chars is repulsive @Hime

what a disaster that feature, should be changed, should be " party that does more damage has the looting rights "
