Noctiferia Posted November 18, 2018 Share Posted November 18, 2018 Hey guys. I noticed my game is laggy and can't dual box since the lag doubbles. With the hype more or less gone and no afk event I started to consider making a buff box but just not possibile. I don't really have a bad commputer but it's a laptop and has both intergrated and high performance graphic card. So normaly I want the game to run from high perf. But as it is runned via launcher I can't realy specify from where it should run. I tried to disable intergrated in bios bit can't cause I don't have that option. But when I disable it in device manager the game dosent start and I get a report error. Is there a way around? Can someone help me please Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

FatChocobo Posted November 19, 2018 Share Posted November 19, 2018 @Noctiferia I also suspect that the game is using my on-board graphics over my GPU (on a desktop), since when I try to use remote desktop with my monitor turned off the game just shows a stationery screen corresponding to how the game looked when the monitor was last on. Nvidia 910m 1 gb A 910m is effectively an igp-level (comparable performance to CPU integrated gfx) card that is primarily aimed at video decoding acceleration. This type of card is below 'poor man's choice', it is literally THE worst possible pick. In other words, there's really no way to do anything here. Wulf Posted November 22, 2018 Share Posted November 22, 2018 It's extremely important to run the game off of an SSD (solid state drive). Imo SSD is the #1 most important thing to have to run L2 fast. Everything else is secondary. Regular harddrive is complete garbage for running the game because it's constantly loading textures etc as you move around. Otherwise, it's thankfully not a hardware intensive game, you can have very low specs/cheap computer and do fine. Just be sure to get an SSD. Another thing is get used to hitting Alt+P (lower video detail) when porting into places with a lot of people (in town for instance) then going back to high detail out in pve etc. For instance, just setting only textures to high improves the look of the game a lot, while other video settings on high aren't so big of a deal, play around with it to your liking. Get an ssd.. 120gb should be enough to have windows and l2 installed, use another HD for your work, music, porn and crap... and if you can change the CPU for an i3 or better. Gpu....cuz i noticed on task manager it is not used at much as it should be. But cpu and ram go up drasticly when moving around so it is ran by intergrated. I tried all the settings and switced off intergrated but the game dont start then. And i use alt p all the time and no its hard to upgrade a laptop...no money for anew rig atm.
