I am not going to be the only one griping about this, but $150+ for a Greater Rune stone that I can't get anywhere else is absurd, NCSoft! At first, I thought ok this will be great I can get one of the skills at least for my main and realized it is Eisen coins and went back to pointless grinding. At like 50$, I wouldn't have even thought about it. You can't sell the stone, trade it, exchange it, or anything so it would be used for exactly what you intended. at $150+ it is a stupid price to pay for something that you can't trade. I am sure there are many that would agree with me. Maybe you should realize you are killing and choking your customer base.

also what do you mean this "new" lineage 2? c1 was all about crafting 4 or 5 armor pieces, 5 jewels a weapon and getting an SA crystal on it. where is the fun in that? well that was the case until 2011, they just added talisman bracelet, cloaks and shirts.The balance was based on the fact you COULD craft and COULD get the gear. Not whip out your credit card to support a company that does not care about its player base. They didnt care back then either, but least the game was balanced. Now...I considering going back to illegal servers...they cost a fraction, significantly more fun, and do not take forever to get gear. I have stayed on Live for 2 years now from a very long hiatus and frankly, I buckled and grabbed some basic gear. Now its a pointless forever grind where you might as well just buy the equipment versus even wasting time on crafting because there is no real chance of getting it, and no real point to try as the materials you need to even have a chance makes it ineffective to waste the time. Again, Old L2 had some semblance of balance on gear...levels and classes were jacked...but now...its those on top stay on top with no way to see even the chance to do end game ...unless you spend what ...10k or more a month for the next year? That's insane to consider.

They are in the game, in the Eisen store, but based on what I am seeing...you are going to pay more for them.

Screwed up and put the skill on my subclass, not the main class. Is there any option to get this Tome somewhere in the game? Is this item even tradable? Looking for some help.

I use the SK for templars aura and is spec'ed more closely to a true tank, and because I like the SK compared to the other tanks.

Looking for an effective cheaper DK build to help boost my party. I have been getting told that boosting a DK is the cheapest/easiest way to boost a party compared to other classes. My party is primarily DK, SK, GK, ISS SWS, ISS DC, and SS. Tyrr gear is insanely expensive and I keep being told by various people, to spend more on the DK and it gets the job done compared to any other class, so looking for a build that does the job. Thanks.

HermesHow about those who may have purchased? You know, your player base that held out for a bit to see how the launch went and then got lucky that they didnt buy because of the failed rollout? The event did not go as intended, I was hoping to have the chance to get potentially an upgrade to gear. Well, the abysmal rates with the fraudulent switch of text made it that I was unwilling to spend because its a scam. The player base is hungry for this game, but there are alternatives and I am for one wondering if bothering with this is worth my time. I played this game since Open Beta and Korean Closed Beta, and frankly, this is worse than dealing with the never-ending amount of bots that plagued the early part of this game and continued that NCSoft has YET to ever actually deal with. I am willing to help, I work as a program analyst and evaluating customer requests and needs to what the end client needs is an every day to day thing. If the job cant be done with two people, then maybe NCSoft should do some reviews and be honest. If this game is not a priority and is being left as it is then tell us, otherwise listen to the player base and do something about it. Honesty from this company is what we are looking for.

Are they the same people that make Liberty throne? That game will be a fiasco, no one will play it if this is their working model.
They are indeed going to be doing Liberty Throne and once I found out about that, I am 0 interested in that game.

I dont believe this organization would allow to show the fake rates that would be revealed that their "events" arent rigged. There is no accountability and despite the player base screaming for them to do ANYTHING, they keep on chugging right along with the nonsense. I personally would have liked to support this event but now, watching the bait and switch in real time, no way. Nope, not playing the nonsense. I am looking to attempt to get any gear to get to the next stage but at this rate I will reach my level goal and once my sub meets that same goal, I may just be walking away from the game again. I am not the only one that I have talked to that is also doing this.

Yup, this is comical. NOTHING I said violated any terms or conditions and all my legit comments are removed. Your service to the customer base is appalling. We aren't that hard to appease and seems like you are hellbent on screwing every single last player that is wanting just a little bit more than forever grind with 0 incentive to continue. This event is the worst. Its deceptive practices reveal a great deal about the integrity of NCSoft West. Which is very disappointing. I played this thing forever and finally got convinced to come back and have been wondering when things get better. It appears nothing will ever change. In for the money, out for the quick buck. As someone else posted and only seems VERY fitting considering the fraudulent activity on this event:

Event is either a fraud, or busted. I believe its a deliberate fraud. One part says you WILL get, another part says CHANCE, its broken boycott this crap otherwise you are literally....not figuratively, literally throwing money to get nothing. Even Casinos have better odds than this crap.

I think a full boycott would help NCSoft West understand they are failing the players. Not to mention, the legal issues surrounding selling items without an expiration date, and then deleting them without refunding, some of these folks are going to be out a few thousand dollars and whales that are going to be put on the hook are potentially going to be willing to lawyer up about that.

All I see is NCSoft allowing the 3rd party markets to keep flourishing instead of incentivizing people to even bother with their marketplace. If that is the route they are pursing then it is the route that many of us will find more incentivized than dealing with extremely overpriced items.
