I had this very issue, try updating your video drivers and reboot.  The lazy option which I did for a month was plug an external monitor into laptop.

We had Red libra only a few months ago.

I remember mobs spawning on the top of trees, statues, monuments etc since the first week Erica server went live. Doubt they'll address this issue as they ignore the adena spammers for almost as long.
