Your memory : Around C2 time (could be wrong but definitely before 2006), I was playing a spoiler, was doing my 2nd job transfer (level 39) . To save adena, I took the ship to talking island village, while on the boat (it take something like 10 min to get to talking island I remember), I start to chat with another player on the boat. From there on, I joined my first clan, deluxSon I remember is the name. It was a a very friendly clan and my L2 life became much more exciting and fun after that. I still remember in one of the xp party we all died and happened to pickup out clan leader's blue wolf glove of some other part. I returned it right after we return to village. Great trust was build up from that time I guess.
